Joseph & Joyce Park: Kaninuwa Bible translation, Papua New Guinea

Thank you for your prayers for Joseph's mother. Her acute pneumonia is responding well to treatment and the Parks are thankful for their quality time with her. Please keep praying for her full recovery. The Kaninuwa translators in Sibesibe village are checking their translation draft of Luke 6-10, and the Parks are planning to go back to the village around mid-January. Please pray for the Parks as they need to catch up with their work and readjust their trip schedule for going back to the Alotau centre and the Sibesibe village.

여러분의 기도에 감사드립니다! 박 선교사가 부부가 폐렴 증세로 위독한 박 선교사 어머니를 뵈러 한국 방문 중인데, 감사하게도 증세가 호전되었다고 합니다. 속히 건강도 함께 회복되도록 기도해 주세요. 시베시베 마을에서는 누가 복음 6-10장 초벌 번역을 검토하고 있고, 박선교사 부부는 본래 1월 중순에 다시 마을로 갈 예정이었습니다. 박 선교사 부부의 임지 복귀와 여러 밀린 사역과 마을 방문 등 모든 일정들이 주님의 은혜 가운데 순조롭게 조정되도록 기도해주세요.

Bible translation ministries have become more active in a variety of ways and have advanced faster than ever before with state-of-the-art IT technology, Internet and smartphones though there are still thousands of Bibleless people groups in the world.  Pray for God’s grace in reaching the vision that by the year 2025, a Bible translation project will be in progress for every people group that needs it. Thanks to you for your partnership with Wycliffe in prayer for the work of God's Kingdom. 아직도 수천 개의 성경없는 부족들이 있지만, 성경번역 사역은 첨단 정보 통신 기술, 인터넷과 스마트폰 등의 활용으로 그 어느 때 보다도 활발하게, 다양한 방법으로, 그리고 예전보다 엄청 빠른 속도로 진행되고 있습니다. 2025년까지 성경없는 부족들을 위해 성경번역 프로젝트가 시작되게 하자는 비전2025의 목표를 향하여 저희들은 오늘도 기도하며 하나님의 은혜를 구하고 있습니다. 저희와 함께 하나님 나라를 섬기는 일에 기도로 동역해 주셔서 감사합니다! 하나님께서 기도를 통해 여러분의 삶과 성경없는 부족들 가운데 행하신 귀한 일들을 세어보실 때 하나님께서 더 풍성하게 복주시실 축복합니다. 기쁜 성탄과 복된 새해 되시길 축원합니다!

Kairos Course in Niagara area

Several mission organizations are seriously talking about how we can organize a Kairos Course in the Niagara Peninsula. OM, Christa, and Global Outreach Mission are asking the Kairos team of Wycliffe Canada how to promote world missions through the Kairos Course, hoping to open the course sometime next year. Please pray for good networking and collaboration among the leaders, not only from mission agencies but also from local churches in the area. Pray especially for Esther of OM, and Randall and Daniel of Wycliffe as they initiate this process. 

나이아가라지역 카이로스 코스

몇 선교단체에서 어떻게 하면 나이아가라 지역에서 카이로스를 개최할 수 있을지 기도하며 협의하는 중입니다. 

오엠, 크리스타, 글로벌 아웃리치에서 위클리프의 카이로스팀에게 내년 중에 카이로스를 열고, 이를 통해 세계선교 운동의 확장시키자고 요청해 왔습니다. 선교단체 뿐만 아니라 지역 교회 리더들이 포함된 네트워킹과 협력이 있도록 기도해주세요. 특히 이 일을 앞서 섬기고 있는 오엠 선교회의 에스더 선교사와 위클리프의 랜달 선교사, 윤기태 선교사를 위하여 손모아주세요.

Mission trip: Japan, Philippines

Staff from Wycliffe Japan will bring a team of 14 peo­ple from Japan to Moun­tain Province in the Philip­pines for a mis­sion trip on March 14-28. The team de­sires to en­cour­age and help those af­fected by Ty­phoon Rosita. Pray for the team lead­ers as they work on lo­gis­tics and co­or­di­nate with the par­tic­i­pants and the pro­ject lead­ers in the Philip­pines. As the team pre­pares for the trip, please pray for good phys­i­cal health and emo­tional readi­ness. Pray for safety and pro­tec­tion for everyone.

단기 선교: 일본, 필리핀

3월 14-28일 필리핀의 마운틴 지역으로 14 명의 단기 선교팀을 위클리프 일본 사역자팀이 인솔합니다. 이번 팀은 지난번 태풍 로시타로 피해를 입은 이들을 돕고 격려하기 위한 프로젝트입니다. 팀 리더들이 일본 참가자들과 필리핀 프로젝트 책임자들과 함께 세부 실행 계획들을 잘 준비하도록 기도해 주시고, 참가 팀원들에게는 건강과 정서적 준비를, 그리고 참여하는 모든 이들의 여행중 안전과 보호를 위해서도 손모아주세요.

New translation projects: India

Pray for the new trans­la­tion pro­jects in south­ern In­dia. Pray that peo­ple will re­spond to the Lord's lead­ing and have the com­mit­ment and bur­den to ini­ti­ate Bible trans­la­tion in these com­mu­ni­ties. As the teams set­tle in and start re­la­tion­ship build­ing and lan­guage learn­ing in the com­mu­nity, ask God to open doors of op­por­tu­ni­ties for them.

남부 인도에서 새로 시작된 번역 프로젝트들을 위해 기도해 주세요. 하나님의 인도하심에 반응하여 이 부족들을 위한 성경 번역이 착수되고 일꾼들이 헌신하고 거룩한 부담을 느끼도록 기도해주세요. 사역팀이 이 지역에 정착하여 현지인들과 관계를 맺으며 현지 언어를 배울 때 많은 기회의 문들이 열리도록 손모아주세요.
