L & C: Bible translation in A country in Asia / Return assignment

L & C attended REVIEW, a debriefing program for field missionaries. They were able to reflect on their years of ministry through the program and were encouraged and refreshed. They were informed that C's permanent residence application has almost been processed except for her Permanent Residence card and a short interview for that will be held soon. They are very thankful for these things and ask for your prayers that they will be able to have a good fellowship time with partners as they visit the Toronto area this week. Please pray also for the final stage of C`s PR application which will be used to apply for her visa for A country so they can return to the field.
 

L and C 선교사: 성경번역, 아시아 A 국 보안지역 / 본국 사역

L & C 부부가 지난 주간 온타리오 지역에서 열린 디브리핑 프로그램 (REVIEW) 훈련을 잘 마쳤고, 기도해 주신대로 C 선교사의 영주권 취득이 예상보다 빠른 처리로 잘 진행되고 있음에 감사드립니다. 조만간 간단한 인터뷰를 거쳐 PR 카드 우송 받는 절차도 잘 이뤄지고, 그것을 기반으로 사역지인 보안지역에 더 좋은 조건으로 비자를 받게되도록 계속 기도해주세요. 방문중인 토론토지역에서 함께 동역해 주시는 교회들과 후원자들을 만나 풍성한 교제들이 이뤄지도록 손모아주세요.

Silk Road Ascent (SRA): Bible translation in a sensitive area (Do not forward or post it anywhere online)

V and N, who are Field Partner Liaisons in SRA, are visiting in the area for three weeks from July 12 until August 2nd. They are visiting the projects supported by Wycliffe Canada, hearing how things are going, and hoping to encourage the teams. Please pray for their health and stamina in the very hot and humid weather in the region. Pray for God's special guidance in some important discussions related to one of the projects. Pray also for the Holy Spirit to be present in those meetings and for grace, forgiveness, and unity to be very evident. Please pray that V and N to be able to listen well, give wise advice, and encourage the project leaders who are working diligently in those languages and multi-lingual education projects.

실크 로드 프로젝트: 성경번역, 보안지역 (수신자 이외에 배포하거나 온라인상에 게시하지 말아주세요)

현지 동역 담당관인 V & N 선교사 부부가 7월 12일부터 8월 2일까지 3주 동안 현지에서 위클리프 캐나다가 지원하고 있는 프로젝트들을 방문하여 진척 상황을 듣고 사역팀들을 격려하는 중입니다. 이 지역의 매우 덥고 습한 날씨에 그들의 건강과 체력을 잘 유지할 수 있도록, 프로젝트 중 하나와 관련된 몇 가지 중요한 논의를 할 때 하나님의 특별한 인도하심을 위해, 또한 성령께서 만나는 모임마다 임재해 주셔서 은혜와 용서와 하나되는 역사가 나타나도록, 여러 언어 관련 프로젝트와 다중 언어 교육 프로젝트를 위해 열심히 섬기고있는 현지의 리더들에게 V & N 선교사가 보다 더 잘 듣고, 현명한 조언도 해주며 그들을 격려할 수 있도록 기도해주세요.

Creating audio resources: West Africa

Pray for the small team working to translate some books from the New Testament and some Old Testament portions. Few speakers of this language are literate. The team plans to produce audio recordings of the Old Testament stories. These will be made available to the wider language community. Pray that the people who listen to these recordings will develop an interest in literacy activities and a desire for more translation. Pray for funding to come through to facilitate this project. Ask God to protect the team as they prepare the recordings. Pray that many people will hear the recording and that their minds and hearts will be open to the Gospel.

New school under construction: Thailand

A new campus for Grace International School is being built near Chiang Mai, Thailand. School administrators are planning a celebration in late august for the school’s twentieth anniversary, which will include a dedication of the new facilities. Pray that the construction proceeds quickly so the buildings will be ready for the ceremonies. Pray for the staff planning the event. That God for this new campus which will provide adequate facilities for the school.

태국 치앙마이 근처에 그레이스 국제 학교가 새 캠퍼스를 건축 중입니다. 8월 말에 있을 20 주년 행사를 맞아 새 캠퍼스 헌당식을 병행할 계획입니다. 건축이 속히 진행되어 행사에 맞출 수 있도록, 행사를 준비하는 직원들을 위해서 기도해주세요. 학교를 위해 적절한 시설이 될 새 캠퍼스를 허락하신 하나님께 감사드립니다.
