Discovering Jesus: Mexico

UNTI reports that 18 people in Mexico worked together from August 12-24 to dub the audio recording for the “JESUS” film. Pray that as a result of this film, the Nahuatl people from Chiconcuautla, Puebla in Mexico, may see, hear, and comprehend the message of Jesus. Pray that many speakers of this language will experience transformation in their lives as they encounter His life, death, and resurrection.

UNTI에 따르면 멕시코에서 8월 12-24일까지 18 명이 함께 예수 영화의 오디오 녹음을 위해 섬겼다고 알려왔습니다. 이 영화로 인해 멕시코 푸에블라의 치콘쿠아우틀라 출신 나후아틀 사람들이 예수님의 메시지를 보고, 듣고, 이해하게 되도록 손 모아 주세요. 나후아틀 사람들이 예수님의 삶, 죽음, 부활의 감동으로 삶에 변혁이 일어나도록 기도해 주세요.

“Explore Bible Translation Extreme”: Unites States

Explore Bible Translation Extreme is a five-day event that gives people exposure to Bible Translation. Staff will present modules about the culture and history of the vision for reaching the Bibleless peoples. Those who take part have an opportunity to envision how to be used by God to impact Bible Translation. The activities includes interactive learning experience simulating cross-cultural life. The next event will take place October 28-November 2 on the JAARS campus in North Carolina, United States. Pray that at least 25 participants will register and attend, including leaders of like-minded organizations.

‘성경 번역 극한 체험’: 미국

‘성경 번역 극한 체험’은 사람들에게 성경 번역을 직접 체험하게 하는 5일간의 행사입니다. 인도자들이 자기네 말로 된 성경 없는 부족들에게 나아가기 위한 비전의 문화와 역사를 소개하면서 참석자들이 성경 번역 사역에 어떻게 하나님의 소명을 받을지 그려보는 순서도 갖게 됩니다. 타문화 삶을 모의로 경험하는 활동도 하게 됩니다. 행사는 미국 노스 캐롤라이나에 있는 잘스에서 10/28-11/2에 열리는데, 같은 비전을 품은 단체의 지도자들을 포함하여 최소 25명이 등록하여 동참하도록 기도해 주세요.

The JAARS Aviation helicopter will visit area schools in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, September 17–20 and Ashland, Ohio, September 24–27. Pray many children will be introduced to the exciting world of mission aviation.

In Africa the Gbeya, Kabba, and Ngbugu New Testament translations are nearing completion. Pray for alertness as teams use translation software to carefully check the manuscripts.

Oftentimes, a motorbike is the best means for a translation worker to reach remote villages. Praise God he has enabled JAARS to provide these motorbikes, and also training, support, and safety gear.
