Joseph & Joyce Park: Kaninuwa Bible translation, Papua New Guinea

The new semester started in February in PNG. However, school has not opened yet because of heavy rain in the village. The Parks were supposed to go to the village in February to check the draft of the Gospel of Luke, but because of the heavy rain, they accepted the suggestion from the translation team and decided to change their flight schedule to March. In the village, the translators (Soktes, Jack, and Levi) are reading through the translated chapters of the Gospel of Luke 6 to 12 with the villagers. Please pray that the school can start as soon as possible and that the translation team will do the editing well.

파푸아뉴기니는 2월부터 새학기가 시작됩니다. 그런데 마을에 비가 많이 와서 아직 개학을 못하고 있습니다. 원래 2월중에 마을에 들어가 번역팀과 함께 누가복음 초벌 번역을 검토하기로 했었는데 폭우로 인하여 3월에 모이는 것이 좋겠다는 번역팀의 권유를 받아들여 일정을 변경합니다. 마을에서 번역자들이 (속테스, 잭, 레비) 누가복음 6장부터 12장 말씀을 마을 사람들과 함께 읽으며 마을 점검중입니다. 하루빨리 학교가 정상적으로 시작될 수 있도록, 번역팀원들에게 하나님이 주시는 지혜로 초벌 번역 잘 감당할 수 있도록 손모아주세요.

Prayer adoption: Indonesia 
After a prayer training for the staff in August Kartidaya launched a prayer adoption program. The program encouraged Kartidaya staff and visitors to pray for language facilitators in training. Photos of and prayer requests for the recently-trained language facilitators for the Arui cluster in North Kalimantan are posted in the office coffee corner. Now five of those facilitators are involved in two language cluster projects. Praise God for this answer to prayers for the successful training of language facilitators. Pray that answered prayer will motivate the staff at Kartidaya to continue to pray faithfully.

작년 8월 사역자들을 위한 기도훈련후 카르티다야 (위클리프 인도네시아 현지 자매 기관) 는 중보기도 프로그램을 시작했습니다. 이 프로그램은 사역자들과 방문자들이 훈련중인 언어조력자(모어 번역가)들을 위하여 중보하도록 격려했습니다. 북 칼리만탄의 아루이 부족 언어권을 위해 최근 훈련받은 언어 조력자들의 사진과 기도제목을 사무실에 게시했습니다. 이제 그 중 5명은 2개의 언어권 프로젝트에 참여하고 있는데 언어 조력자들의 성공적인 훈련을 위한 기도가 응답됨에 감사드리며 이러한 기도 응답으로 말미암아 카르티다야 사역자들이 신실한 기도를 계속할 수 있는 동기 부여가 되도록 손모아주세요.

Social media and prayer: Europe 
Some European Alliance Organizations routinely use Social Media to communicate prayer requests. This seems to work well. They post prayer concerns weekly on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. Some staff send prayer requests by SMS (text message) to those who subscribe. Pray for the continued effectiveness of these endeavors. Pray for other European Alliance Organizations as they consider how best to implement Social Media in their context.
