We are very thankful to God for the well carried out JAARS Vision Trip Daniel and Helen led for the participants from Niagara Korean Presbyterian Church (Rev. Woo Soo Suh, senior pastor), Oct. 26-29. The participants were able to experience the dynamics and teamwork of Bible translation and its related ministries, and the faithful commitment of Wycliffe missionaries through the training program at the JAARS Centre. Please pray that their partnering with Wycliffe for Bible translation ministries by praying and giving will continue. Gyoojun and Jinsook served Journey with Christ Church a week before last Saturday with a Bible translation briefing session. They will serve CHURCHgame for the pastoral team of newly started Toronto True Hope Church (Rev. Myung-Soo Son, senior pastor) Monday, Nov. 7. Please pray that the leaders will fully understand the identity and mission of the church, discipling one's own nation and all nations.

10월 25-29일  한 주간 윤기태/양희숙 선교사의 인도로 나이아가라한인장로교회(서욱수 담임목사) 잘스 선교훈련 팀이 잘스에서 잘 훈련받고 돌아오시게 되었음에 감사드립니다! 여러 다양한 사역의 현장 사역 선교사들의 생생한 사역보고와 잘스에서 이뤄지는 다양한 기술지원사역을 통해 헌신과 팀웍으로 이뤄지는 성경번역 선교의 비전과 실제 사역을 체험하는 기회였습니다. 이규준/한진숙 선교사 역시 한 주 전 토요일, 토론토순례길 교회 성도님들과 성경번역 안내 시간을 가졌습니다. 참가자들이 기도와 물질로 동역해 주심에 감사드리고, 계속해서 동역이 이어지게 기도해 주세요. 이규준/한진숙 선교사는 11월 7일 (월)에 새롭게 시작한 토론토참소망 교회(손명수 담임목사)에서 목회팀을 위해 처치 게임을 섬깁니다. 자민족과 타민족을 제자삼는 교회의 본질이 잘 나눠지도록 기도해 주세요. 

Global Connect 2022: Volatility and Uncertainty

Wycliffe Global Alliance is hosting an online conference around the theme of "Volatility and Uncertainty," Nov 8-11. Please pray that Bible translation ministries worldwide will continue, properly responding by prayer and God's grace, to the various types of crisis we have been facing since the start of the pandemic.

11월 8-11일에 위클리프 국제 연대 주관으로 온라인 컨러펀스가 열립니다. 현재 닥친 다양한 위기 요소들에 기도와 하나님의 은혜로 적절하게 대응하며 성경번역 사역을 이어갈 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 

Cree mother-tongue translators (MTT) workshop

We will have the Cree mother-tongue translators (MTT) workshop, delayed over two years due to the pandemic, at Guelph Bible Conference Center, November 6-11. We will have an open session on Thursday, November 10. Any of you, as individuals or church leaders interested in partnering with the Bible translation movement for five different Cree language groups from Alberta to Ontario, including Naskapi in Northern Quebec, Canada, can come and join the conference from lunchtime to afternoon sessions. We welcome Eaglesfield Community Church (Rev. Sung Hoon Jang, senior pastor) and Niagara Korean Presbyterian Church (Rev. Wook Soo Suh, senior pastor) representatives and other prospective participants from across Canada. Please pray that more national translators will join the workshop to get trained, and learn from one another.  

크리 원주민 모어 번역가들의 워크샵

팬데믹 기간 동안 열리지 못했던 크리 원주민 성경번역 사역자들을 위한 웍샵이 마침내 11월에 열리게 되었습니다 (11월 6-11일, 구엘프 바이블컨퍼런스센터). 11월 10일(목)에는 오픈 웍샵으로 알버타에서 온타리오 북부까지 흩어져 사는 5개의 크리 원주민 언어 그룹과 퀘벡 북부의 나스카피 언어를 위한 성경번역 운동에 참여하길 원하는 모든 개인과 교회 리더들이 오셔서 참관하실 수 있습니다. 이글스필드한인장로교회 (장성훈 담임목사)와 나이아가라한인장로교회 (서욱수 담임목사)에서 참가자들을 보내주시기로 했음에 감사드리고, 다른 교회나 개인들도 더 많이 참여하고, 특히 원주민 성경번역 사역자들이 많이 참가하여 서로에게 배우며 잘 훈련받을 수 있도록 함께 기도해 주세요. (참가를 원하시는 분들은 윤기태 선교사에게로 미리 알려주세요 daniel.yoon@wycliffe.ca, 905-348-2275) 

Wycliffe World Day of Prayer

Wycliffe observes the World Day of Prayer every year, traditionally held on November 11. This year Wycliffe Canada is collaborating with OneBook and CanIL. We will be having different times -- Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022 at 3 pm (ET, Toronto), 11 am(PT, Vancouver), 12 pm(MT, Calgary), 1 pm(CT, Regina), and 4 pm (AT, Halifax). This will be a one-hour hybrid meeting event focused on the Cree and the First Nations projects. This Day of Prayer is open to everyone. Please pray that many people will come to these meetings to pray together for the needs of Bible translation and our field partners. 

위클리프 세계 기도의 날

위클리프는 매년 11월 11일 전세계적으로 성경없는 부족들을 위한 기도의 날로 정하여 기도하고 있습니다.

위클리프 캐나다는 자매단체인 원북, 캔아이엘과 함께 캐나다의 여러 시간대에서 1 시간 동안 하이브리드 형식으로

(온라인과 대면으로 동시에) 모일 예정입니다. 11월 10일 목요일 동부 시간 (토론토) 오후 3시, 태평양 시간(밴쿠버)

오전 11시, 산지 시간 (캘거리) 정오 12시, 중부 시간 (리자이나) 오후 1시, 대서양 시간 (핼리팩스) 오후 3시 입니다. 올해 모임은 “캐나다를 위하여” 이라는 주제로 크리와 원주민 성경 번역 프로젝트에 초점을 맞춥니다. 

누구나 참여할 수 있고, 참가를 원하는 분은 윤기태 선교사 (daniel.yoon@wycliffe.ca, 905-348-2275) 에게 미리 알려 주시고, 함께 성경 번역과 현지 사역팀의 필요를 위한 기도에 동참해 주세요.

Prayer supporters wanted: South Korea
Global Bible Translators (GBT) invited people to participate in “40 days prayer for the World Day of Prayer” that started on 3 October and will continue until the Wycliffe World Day of Prayer on 11 November. Ask for God’s guidance and sensitivity for Nanju Lee, who leads this prayer group. Thank God for the prayer supporters who signed up for this dedicated time of prayer. Others can join by privately messaging the GBT Instagram page @gbtkorea. Pray that the time continues to be refreshing and meaningful for everyone participating.

한국 성경 번역 선교회 (GBT)는 지난 10월 3일부터 시작하여 11월 11일 위클리프 세계 기도의 날까지 계속되는 “위클리프 세계 기도의 날을 위한 40일 기도”에 참여하도록 사람들을 초대합니다. 이 행사를 인도하는 이난주 선교사가 하나님의 인도하심과 함께 말씀에 민감하게 반응할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 이 기간에 함께 참여하는 기도 후원자들을 인해 하나님께 감사드립니다. 다른 분들은 GBT 인스타그램 페이지 @gbtkorea 에 비공개 메시지를 보내 참여하실 수 있습니다. 참여하시는 모든 분들에게 신선하고 의미 있는 시간이 계속되도록 기도해 주세요.  

Prayer Calendar for people without the Scriptures: Romania
For three consecutive years, Wycliffe Romania (WRO) has published a prayer booklet to guide churches and individuals to pray for 12 people groups, one selected for each month of the year. These groups represent some of the people in language communities who need the Scriptures the most, people with little or no exposure to the gospel and who do not have any Scripture translated into their languages. Thank God for answering prayers! Bible translation started in some of the languages featured and prayed for in previous calendars. Pray that the Lord will call forth more people to serve in these projects. Ask God to help the WRO team as they develop next year's calendar. Pray for more Romanians and churches to join in prayer and even ‘adopt’ language communities without the Scriptures. 

성경이 없는 사람들을 위한 기도 달력: 루마니아

위클리프 루마니아는 지난 3년 연속으로 교회와 개인 각자가 12개 종족 그룹을 위해 기도하도록 돕는 기도 책자를 발간하고 또한 한 달에 한 그룹 씩 선정하여 중보하고 있습니다. 이 그룹들은 성경이 가장 필요한 언어 공동체, 복음에 대해 전혀 들어 본 적이 없는 이들, 자기네 언어로 번역된 성경이 없는 사람들입니다. 기도에 응답하신 하나님께 감사드립니다! 기도 달력을 통해 함께 기도해왔던 몇 몇 언어들로 성경 번역을 시작할 수 있게 하게 하신 하나님께 감사를 드립니다. 주님께서 이 프로젝트를 섬길 더 많은 일꾼들을 불러 주시고 내년 기도 달력을 준비하고 있는 위클리프 루마니아 팀을 위해서, 그리고 더 많은 루마니아 사람들과 교회들이 기도에 참여하고 성경이 없는 언어 공동체들을 맡아 그들을 위해 기도할 수 있도록 함께 손을 모아 주세요.

As we observe Veterans Day (Nov 11) to honor the brave men and women who protect our country, join us in asking God to bless and guide all those who are serving today in our armed forces. 

나라를 지키는 용감한 남녀 장병들을 기리는 재향군인의 날(11월 11일)을 맞아 군대에서 복무하는 모든 이들을 하나님께 축복하고 인도해 달라고 함께 기도해 주세요. 

Pray that God will supply staff to fulfill the critical needs of our Third Culture Kids Care and Education department. 

하나님께서 우리 선교사 자녀들 돌봄과 교육부서에 꼭 필요한 대체 교사를 속히 채워 주시도록 기도해 주세요.
