Pray also for good health and travel mercies for the Lees.

Online Prayer Meeting in Korean
The Korean Diaspora Engagement team will start online prayer meetings, held at 10 pm EST for an hour, on the last Thursday of every odd numbered month. The first online prayer meeting will be Thursday, Jan 26, and the title of the prayer meeting is 'Answering Prayer.' We will have fellowship in God's Word and prayer for Wycliffe Canada's Focus Projects, Korean members and diaspora church engagement ministries. Please come together with your friends who are interested in this prayer movement. (Please feel free to share the zoom link below with your interested friends.)

Cree initiative: Naskapi
The goal is to translate and publish five books of the Bible by December 2024: Exodus, Deuteronomy, Judges, Job, and Psalms. Praise God that 2,647 of these 6,321 verses are in the translation process so far! One of the desired outcomes of this project is that believers in churches grow in faith and obedience through engaging with the translated Word of God. The retired Naskapi translators, Silas and Alma, both work together each week on the Naskapi Scriptures and the dictionary. They are able to read, access and engage in a few more verses of the Scriptures each time they meet with Bill Jancewicz. The Naskapi team is still incomplete. They are still operating with two retired translators who can work part time, and some other volunteers. What is needed are new full-time staff to work on projects on a regular basis. The good news is that over the holidays, a new Naskapi person was recruited and hired to serve as the Naskapi translator and coordinator of cultural projects. Bill is meeting with her each day and providing mentoring and training—it will be some months before she is capable of working on a translation on her own. Her name is Marianne, and they hope to hire and train at least two additional Naskapi language workers in the coming months to work with her. Please continue to pray for the Naskapi team.
크리 원주민 성경 번역 운동: 나스카피
내년 12월까지 출애굽기, 신명기, 사사기, 욥기, 시편 등 5권의 구약 성경을 번역 출간하는 것이 목표인데, 총 6,321절 중 2,647절이 완역된 것 하나님께 찬양을 올려드립니다! 이 프로젝트의 바람직한 성과 중 하나는 지역교회 성도들이 번역된 하나님의 말씀을 통하여 믿음과 순종으로 양육되는 것입니다. 은퇴한 나스카피 원주민 번역가 사일러스와 알마는 매주 나스카피 성경번역과 사전 작업을 빌 선교사와 만날 때마다 몇 구절씩을 더 읽으며 작업에 진전을 보이고 있습니다. 그러나 나스카피 팀은 아직 불완전체 입니다. 여전히 파트타임으로 돕는 두 명의 은퇴한 번역가들과 몇몇 자원봉사자들과 함께 사역을 이어오고 있기 때문입니다. 정말 필요한 것은 프로젝트를 정기적으로 섬길 새로운 상근 사역자입니다. 좋은 소식은 지난 연휴 동안 신임 나스카피 원주민이 나스카피 번역가와 문화 프로젝트의 코디네이터로 섬기기 위해 허입되었다는 반가운 소식입니다. 빌 선교사는 매일 그녀를 만나 멘토링과 함께 훈련을 제공하고 있습니다. 그녀가 스스로 번역 작업을 할 수 있게 되기까지는 몇 달이 더 걸릴 것입니다. 그녀의 이름은 마리안이고, 팀은 마리안과 함께 일하기 위해 앞으로 몇 달 안에 적어도 두 명의 나스카피 언어 조력자들이 추가로 합류하고 훈련

60th Anniversary: Germany
Wycliffe Germany was founded in 1962 and celebrated its 60th anniversary this year! The theme was “thankfulness”. Praise God for the joy of being able to thank God for his guidance and provision with about 300 friends and supporters during the main celebration in September. Together celebrants remembered how the first German Christians spread the vision of Bible Translation in their churches and more and more young people came together to be trained and join the movement. Today there are about 130 Wycliffe Germany members serving worldwide, and the Karimu International Conference Center offers space to partner organizations and churches for their meetings and conferences. Wycliffe Germany thanked God for his blessings and faithfulness at all times, and they celebrated the many thousands of people who support the movement through their gifts and prayers. After the service, guests pinned their reasons for thanking God to a large wooden “60”. Everyone had so much to be thankful for and to celebrate. Praise God for this time!
창립 60주년: 독일
위클리프 독일이 1962년에 설립되어 작년에 60주년을 맞아 “감사”를 주제로 축하를 했습니다. 지난 9월 기념 행사 동안 약 300명의 동역자들과 후원자들이 함께 하나님의 인도하심과 공급하심에 감사하며 기쁨으로 하나님께 찬양을 올려드렸습니다. 행사에 참석한 이들은 최초 독일 성도들이 그들이 교회에서 성경 번역의 비전을 어떻게 나누고 점점 더 많은 젊은이들이 훈련을 받고 성경번역 운동에 동참했는지를 회상했습니다. 현재는 약 130명의 위클리프 독일 출신 선교사들이 열방에 흩으져 사역하고 있으며 카리무 국제 컨퍼런스 센터는 동역 기관들과 교회들의 모임과 회의를 위한 공간을 제공해 주고 있습니다. 위클리프 독일은 언제나 함께하시는 하나님의 축복과 신실하심에 감사드리며, 기도와 재정으로 섬기는 수천 명의 후원자들을 생각하며 함께 축하했습니다. 행사 후 참석자들은 “60 ”을 새긴 큰 나무판에 감사의 이유들을 적어 붙였는데 모든 이들이 감사하고 축하할 일들이 너무 많았습니다. 귀한 시간 함께하신 하나님을 찬송합니다!
Celebrating Ambonese Malay New Testament: Asia, Australia
Thank God for the completion of the Ambonese Malay New Testament by the Ambon team and David and Lilian Saxby from Wycliffe Australia. Give thanks for the celebrations in September with the local church, the translation facilitators and other friends and supporters. Give thanks for the commitment of the local church, Gereja Protestan Maluku (GPM), to the translation of the Ambonese Malay Bible. Pray that GPM and the translation team continue in mutual encouragement. Pray for the successful distribution of the New Testament. Print copies are on sale in Ambon. Digital copies are also available; pray that people learn to access those as well. Pray also that the people take God's Word to heart (Psalm 119:11). Thank God for the Scripture engagement team, which helps the community to access, understand and apply God’s Word. Ask God to continue to bless their efforts, and to keep them well-funded.
