 새롭게 시작되는 청년 사역과 곧 있을 태국 목회자 워크숍의 특별한 열매를 위해 기도하고 있습니다. 픽(Pik)은 2023년 HiM(Here I am for Mission) 청년캠프에 참석한 후 선교에 감동을 받아, 마음에 주신 비전을 교회와 나눴습니다. 2025년, 직업학교를 마친 그는 한 지역 마을에서 열린 캠프에 다시 참여했고, 그곳에서 섬기라는 하나님의 부르심을 느꼈습니다. 현재 그는 근처 교육대학에 등록했고 지역 교회에 출석 중입니다. 그러면서 매달 한 번 마을의 믿는 자들의 소그룹 모임을 방문할 계획입니다. 태국 남부에서 새로운 청년 선교 운동을 기획하고 실행될 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. HiM 청년 캠프에 참석한 후, 위클리프 태국 재단의 조이(Joy)와 플로이(Ploy)는 남부 태국 청년들 사이에 선교 운동이 일어나야 한다는 비전을 받았습니다. 이들은 디렉터 왓의 아들 조셉과 그의 팀에게 이 비전을 나누고, 11월에 캠프를 시작해 줄 것을 요청했습니다. 11월 17일, 태국 목회자 대상 워크숍을 위해 기도해주세요. 이 워크숍의 목적은 타이 까다이어를 사용하는 민족 그룹집단들에 대한 인식을 높이는 것입니다. 이 워크숍이 잘 준비되고 협력이 이루어지며, 목회자들이 적극적으로 참여하여 태국까다이 언어 그룹에 대한 인식이 높아지도록 기도해주세요. | This month we focus our thoughts and prayers on a new youth initiative, and we pray for a special outcome from an upcoming workshop for Thai pastors. Pik is a young man. He joined the Here I am for Mission (HiM) youth camp in 2023. He was touched with the concept of mission. When he returned home from his first participation at the camp, he shared with his church about the vision that had birthed in his heart. He came to HiM camp the second time with the intention of relocating to be part of the Thai Christian Youth for Mission (TCYM) team. In 2025 Pik finished his two years in vocational school and then came to join the HiM camp again. This time the camp was held in a local village. After the camp Pik said, “I felt God called me to serve in [this village].” He decided to enrol in the nearby Teaching University and is attending a local church. Pik plans to visit a small group of believers in the village once per month. Pray for the goal to plan out and move forward with a new youth mission movement into Southern Thailand. After joining a HiM youth camp, Joy and Ploy on the Wycliffe Thai Foundation staff team got the vision of having a mission movement among the young people in Southern Thailand. They talked with Joseph (Director Wat’s son) and his team and asked them to come start the camp in November. Pray for a workshop planned for Nov 17 for Thai pastors. The hope is to raise awareness of the people groups that speak the Tai Kadai language. Pray for good collaboration to host the workshop, for pastors to participate, and for them to become aware of the Tai Kadai language group. |
