Joseph & Joyce Park: Kaninuwa Bible translation, Papua New Guinea

A strong typhoon hit Good Enough Island three weeks ago and it devastated the Sibesibe village of the Kaninuwa people. The Parks are planning to visit tomorrow or as soon as possible and they already sent their luggage to the village today. Many Kaninuwa people have lost their houses and their crops have been destroyed; even the communication antenna has been broken. The Parks have been discussing with fellow missionaries how to cope with the situation. Please pray that quick and wise decisions can be made so that effective help can be given to the suffering Kaninuwa people through the Parks’ visit. Please pray also for safety on their 16-hour voyage from Alotau to Good Enough Island.

박요섭/조선향 부부가 섬기고 있는 파푸아뉴기니 굿이넙 섬에 3주 전에 큰 태풍으로 인해 농작물이 썩고 집을 잃은 

사람들이 많으며, 외부와의 통신수단인 안테나도 망가졌다는 소식입니다. 내일 마을로 가려고 하루 앞서 짐을 보내놓고 기다리던 박 선교사 부부는 안타까운 소식을 접하고 어떻게 준비해서 들어가야 할지 동료 선교사들과 급히 의논중입니다. 신속하고 지혜로운 결정이 이뤄지고, 박 선교사 부부의 16시간 뱃길로의 방문 여정이 안전하며 고통 

중에 있는 시베시베 마을 사람들에게 효과적인 도움이 될 수 있도록 간절히 기도해주세요.
