Mission 101 course at Young Nak Korean Presbyterian Church of Toronto

The third and fourth sessions of Mission 101 will be held this Saturday at YoungNak Presbyterian Church of Toronto (Rev. Minho Song, senior pastor). Mission is all about using God’s Word to transform one's life and the culture of one’s community. Please pray that all of the participants fully understand that and evaluate if they are living missionally. Then, pray that they will be actively on mission with God in helping Bibleless peoples to have God's Word in their heart language.

토론토영락교회 첫걸음 선교이야기

오는 토요일(5월 11일)에 토론토영락교회 (송민호 담임목사) 에서 첫걸음선교이야기 세션 3-4 과정이 진행됩니다. 참석자 모두 말씀으로 개인의 삶과 공동체의 문화가 변혁되는 것을 확인하고, 아직도 말씀을 갖지 못한 사람들 에게도 그들의 문화에 맞는 마음의 언어로 말씀이 전해지고 동일하게 그 말씀으로 삶과 문화가 변혁되도록 하나님과 함께 열정으로 선교에 임하게 되도록 기도해주세요.

L & C, Bible translation in A country in Asia/ Return assignment

L and C will have fellowship with the Calgary Korean Prayer Team this Saturday evening, as they visit Calgary to participate in the Head Facilitators Training Course for the Kairos course in the next week. Please pray for God's will for the Z people with whom they have been serving. Pray for prayer warriors who are dedicated to that ministry, together with L and C, as they share their stories with the Wycliffe prayer team and they all pray together for the Z people.

L & C 선교사 부부가 다음 주에 있을 카이로스코스 책임조력자 훈련 참석차 캘거리를 방문하면서, 토요일(5월 11일) 저녁에 캘거리 한인 기도팀과 교제하며 함께 기도합니다. 섬기는 A 국의 Z 종족을 향한 하나님의 소원이 나눠지고 함께 기도하는 모든 분들의 헌신이 드려지는 시간이 되도록 기도해주세요.

Martin and Alice Reed (Grace): Northern Manitoba, First Nations Bible Translation initiative

Martin and Alice serve as language program facilitators specializing in Bible translation and literacy and bilingual education. The Reeds are home in Manitoba after a busy April, especially with the 2019 First Nations Bible Translation workshop that was held from April 7 to 12. They definitely felt everyone's prayers over it. During the workshop, two participants who came from Manitoba translated a "beginner reader" version of the Creation story into Western Swampy Cree. They are very excited that the Canadian Bible Society has agreed to produce print and e-book samples of this translation to help gauge interest in more Scripture products among other Western Swampy Cree speakers. The Reeds continue to seek out connections with more Christian churches in other Western Swampy Cree speaking communities.  Please pray for the Lord to provide the Northern Manitoba Area Mission with the funding needed to move forward with their desired Bible translation projects. Pray also for the Reeds’ language learning to continue progressing and that their financial support needs would be met.

마틴과 알리스 리드 (그레이스) 선교사: 북 마니토바, 원주민 성경 번역 운동

마틴과 알리스 선교사는 성경 번역, 문해및 이중언어를 전문으로 원주민 언어 프로그램 조력자로 섬기고 있습니다. 아주 빠빳던 4월, 특히 2019 원주민 성경 번역가 웍샵을 여러분들의 중보 기도의 도움으로 잘 마치고 마니토바로 귀임했습니다. 이 웍샵중 마니토바에서 온 두 분의 참가자가 창조 이야기의 "초보 독자" 버전을 서부 서왐피 크리 부족어로 번역했습니다. 캐나다성서공회가 다른 서부 서왐피 크리 언어 공동체에서 더 많은 말씀 번역물에 관심을 갖도록 돕기 위해 이 번역본의 인쇄및 전자도서 샘플을 발간하기로 동의한 것은 정말 기쁘고 감사한 일입니다. 리드 선교사 가정은 다른 언어 공동체의 더 많은 교회들과의 관계 발전를 계속 추구하며, 주께서 북 마니토바 지역 선교(원주민 단체) 에서 추진중인 성경 번역 프로젝트들을 수행하는데 필요한 모금을 위해서, 또한 마틴과 알리스 선교사 부부의 원주민 언어 학습이 계속되고 필요한 재정 동역을 위해서도 기도해주세요.

Sharing the Scripture app: Southeast Asia

Praise God for the interest people have in reading the Scriptures on mobile phones. At a birthday party, children saw the Scripture app for a regional language and asked for it for their phone. At a translation check session, the staff saw the videos for the first part of the book of Acts and asked for them to be shared to their phones. Thank God that this project is 35 percent finished. Pray for the person needed to take up the role of main translator for the language.

성경 앱 공유: 동남 아시아

휴대폰 성경 앱을 통해 성경을 읽는 이들이 많이 늘어남을 인해 하나님을 찬양합니다. 한 생일잔치에서 아이들이 자기네 모어로 된 성경 앱을 보고 자신들의 핸드폰에도 설치를 했습니다. 번역 점검 세션에서는 현지인 사역자들이 사도행전 앞 부분을 보고 자기네들의 휴대폰에도 다운로드를 받았습니다. 현재 35%가 완성된 이 프로젝트를 인해 하나님께 감사드리며 이 언어의 주 번역을 맡을 현지인 번역자를 보내주시도록 손모아주세요.

Sharing the Scriptures and JESUS Film: West Africa

Praise God for the translations done in a cluster of three related languages of West Africa. The JESUS Film is available in two of these languages and is being shared from cell phone to cell phone. Pray that people will see these films in every household in the area. The translation teams are about to launch a Scripture app to allow people to access Scripture on their phones. The first language has recorded Scripture. Pray for the person who is recording Scripture in the second language. Pray for the translation advisors for the third language of the cluster as they choose a place to live and begin to work. Thank God for the new believers in the communities of these language areas.

성경과 예수영화 배포: 서 아프리카

서아프리카에서 3 개의 연관 언어권에서 성경이 완역되게 하신 하나님을 찬양합니다. 예수 영화가 이 중 두 개의 언어로 완성되어 핸드폰을 통해 배포되고 있습니다. 이 지역 모든 가정에서 예수 영화를 보게 되도록 기도해주세요. 번역팀이 휴대폰용 성경 앱 출시를 거의 마무리하고 있습니다. 한 언어로 성경이 이미 녹음되었고 두 번째 언어로 녹음중인 사역자를 위해 기도해주세요. 세 번째 언어권을 위한 번역 자문위원들이 사역을 시작하기 위해 거처를 구하는데 적당한 장소가 구해지도록 손모아주세요. 이 언어권들에서 새신자들이 생기게 하시는 하나님께 감사드립니다.
