Gyoojun and Jinsook Lee: director of the Diaspora engagement team

Gyoojun & Jinsook are thankful for the ministries well carried out last week. They served Mobi 101 in cooperation with Simply Mobilizing Canada and Gyoojun served at the Board meeting of CanIL. In this week, they will keep serving another SM course called Empowered to Influence which helps Christians live their missional life 24x7, not just as a Sunday Christian. They are meeting and encouraging couples who have been well challenged through the Kairos course to serve the Lord with more committed life through the Kairos course; one of them is trying to start their membership process with Wycliffe Canada. They will also serve the Bible Sunday worship at Calgary Korean Presbyterian Church on the way back to Toronto sharing the vision and ministries of Wycliffe Thailand with which CKPC has had Kingdom Friendship. We are very thankful for the official partnership pf CKPC for the last 10 years.  Please pray for God's anointing of good health and fruitful ministries for Gyoojun & Jinsook during their continuous travel and ministries.

이규준 / 한진숙 선교사가 지난 주간에 밴쿠버에서 캔아이엘 이사회 및 Simply Mobilizing과 협력하여 카이로스코스, 동원학101 등을 잘 섬겼음에 감사드립니다. 이번 주에는 주일만이 아닌 주 중에도 언제 어디서나 (24x7) 그리스도인으로서 선교적 삶을 살도록 돕는 '능력과 변혁'(Empowered to Influence) 코스를 소개하고 자격을 갖춘 교회와 조력자들을 통해 코스가 개교회 별로 진행되도록 돕습니다. 카이로스 코스를 통해 더 헌신된 삶을 살고자 하는 부부들을 만나 격려할 것이기도 합니다. 그 중 한 가정은 위클리프 선교사로 헌신코자 하는 가정입니다. 또한 12월 1일 (주일) 에는 캘거리한인장로교회(최창선 담임목사) 성서주일에 위클리프 태국에서의 성경번역 사역에 대해 나누며 킹덤프렌드십을 돕고 토론토로 돌아옵니다. 지난 10여년간 신실하게 위클리프 캐나다의 공식 협력 교회로 섬겨주시는 캘거리한인장로교회에 감사드리고, 두 선교사의 계속되는 여행과 사역에 건강과 기름부으심이 있도록 기도해주세요.

Silk Road Ascent (SRA): Bible translation in a sensitive area (Do not forward or post it anywhere online)

R Project: Much of the New Testament has been drafted, but publication was delayed for several years while the main key terms were tested. However, this process has been completed, and the key terms chosen by the translation team were approved. Luke and Acts have now been published in a single volume -- the first books of Scripture to be published in the R language! Praise God! The books of both Luke and Acts are now being 

distributed to R believers and others. The son of Q, the mother-tongue translator, has not been able to find a job placement after finishing his accounting degree, and he is struggling with depression. His parents are worried about him, and this is impacting Q’s work. Please pray for God’s mercy and grace to the Q family, no impacting and any hinder for R project.

실크 로드 프로젝트: 성경번역, 보안지역 (수신자 이외에 배포하거나 온라인상에 게시하지 말아주세요)

R 프로젝트: 신약성경의 많은 부분들이 초벌 번역되었지만 주요 용어들을 시험하는 동안 출판이 몇 년 동안 지연되었는데, 이제 이 과정이 완료되었고, 번역팀이 선택한 핵심 용어들은 승인되었습니다. 누가복음과 사도행전을 하나의 책으로 만든 합본이 출판되었는데, 이것은 R 부족어로 출판된 최초의 성경책입니다! 하나님을 찬송합니다! 누가복음과 사도행전의 합본은 지금 모두 출판되어 R 지역의 성도들과 부족들에게 배포되었습니다. 그런데
현지어 번역가인 Q의 아들은 회계학 학위 과정을 수료한 후 취업이 안되어 우울증에 시달리고 있고, 아들의 일로 걱정하고 있는 Q 의 사역에도 영향을 미치고 있습니다. R프로젝트에 아무런 영향도 끼치지 않고 어떠한 방해가 없도록 Q가족에게 하나님의 자비와 은혜가 있도록 기도해주세요.

Sixty-two chapters to finish: Peru

The Eastern Apurimac Quechua people in Peru desire the whole Bible. Translators have only 62 more chapters to translate, plus checking and revision for this to happen. The goal is reachable. AIDIA* members rejoice that their ministry transforms lives and that the Scripture are available in their language. Please pray for strength, wisdom, protection, and perseverance for the Eastern Apurimac Quechua team as they work to complete the translation. Annual Proclaimer Reunion Convention: Jamaica

The Proclaimer, developed by Faith Comes by Hearing, is a digital player preloaded with an audio Bible recording. Wycliffe Caribbean holds an “Annual Proclaimer Reunion Convention,” where people give testimonies and presentations and participate in activities related to the use of the Proclaimer. Praise God for who participated in the September event in Jamaica: church leaders, Sunday school teachers, staff from Child Evangelism Fellowship, and persons associated with the translation and recording of the Jamaican New Testament. Please pray for the eleven people who expressed interest in becoming leaders of Bible listening groups. Ask God to inspire and use the Sunday school teachers who expressed a desire to use the Jamaican language in teaching.

연례 프로클레이머 대회: 자메이카

‘믿음은 들음에서 나며’ 단체에서 개발한 프로클레이머는 성경 녹음 화일을 탑재한 전자 오디오 재생기입니다. 위클리프 카리브 제도가 이 프로젝트 활용과 관련된 사역에 참여하는 분들의 간증들과 발표들을 나누는 “연례 프로클레이머 대회”를 주최했습니다. 자메이카에서 지난 9월에 열린 행사에 참석한 교회 지도자들, 주일학교 교사들, 어린이 전도협회 사역자들, 자메이카어 신약 번역과 녹음 사역 관련자들로 인해 주님을 찬양합니다. 성경 듣기 그룹의 리더가 되기로 결단한 11 명을 위해, 주일학교에서 자메이카 언어로 아이들을 가르치기로 헌신한 주일학교 교사들을 주께서 김동주시고 귀하게 사용하시도록 기도해주세요.
