L & C: Bible translation in a country in Asia / remote assignment
Just as Apostle Paul made progress in His missions while he is in chain (Philippians 1:12), L & C have made a significant progress in Bible translation ministries for the *Z language even though they are still bound due to the Covid situation but they have made a significant progress by deciding to join the collaboration team for whom he has consulted in the area of OT exegesis. (affinity between these two languages seems like 70%.) To work together with this team L & C will move to J*J island in January 2022. Please pray for their smooth transition, good teamwork, and more effective ministries as a result.
L and C 선교사: 성경번역, 아시아 보안지역 / 원격 사역
사도 바울이 매인 중에도 도리어 복음 전파의 진전이 있었듯이 (빌립보서 1:12), 팬데믹 상황에 발이 묶인 L & C 선교사의 Z 언어 성경번역에 새로운 돌파구가 열린 것에 감사드립니다. 그 동안 이웃 언어 사역팀의 성경번역에서 구약 번역에 주해 분야를 도왔었는데, 이제는 그 팀에 합류하여 함께 성경번역을 해나가기로 했습니다. (두 언어 사이의 유사성, 70%) 또한 이를 위해 내년 1월부터 *ㅈㅈ도로 베이스를 옮겨 사역할 예정입니다. 순조로운 합류 과정과 좋은 팀웍을 이룸으로 더 효과적인 사역이 이뤄지도록 기도해 주세요.

Road to 35 Years: Hong Kong
Praise the Lord for his faithfulness as Wycliffe Hong Kong celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2022. Thank God for the partnership of churches in Hong Kong to make the vision of Bible translation a reality. Pray for God’s guidance and wisdom in celebration event planning, including for the highlight of a member conference in July 2022. Ask God for his protection, provision, and unity during this time of encouragement and celebration as the 54 members who are serving all over the world return to the city and reunite for the five-day conference.
35 주년을 향해: 홍콩
내년에 창립 35주년을 맞는 위클리프 홍콩과 함께하신 신실하신 하나님을 찬양합니다. 성경 번역의 비전을 이루기 위해 홍콩의 교회들과 함께 동역할 수 있음에 감사드립니다. 내년 7월에 있을 회원 총회의 하이라이트를 비롯한 기념행사를 계획하는 동안 하나님의 인도하심과 지혜가 있도록, 전 세계에서 섬기고 있는 54명의 선교사들이 5일간의 컨퍼런스 모임을 위해 함께 모여 서로 격려하고 축하하게 될 이 기간 동안 하나님의 보호와 예비하심, 그리고 하나되는 시간되도록 기도해 주세요.
Response to the JESUS Film: South Asia
In partnership with the “JESUS Film”, a Facebook advertisement was launched in a language group of South Asia. In ten days, a short video of Jesus’ birth reached close to 300,000 people! Almost 10,000 people have watched 95% or more of the video and 9,500 people have accessed a website where they can watch the whole JESUS film, message the page to others, or download the Scripture app. Advertisements will continue running over the next few months. Pray for open hearts as people interact with the film and for those responding to questions and comments.
예수 영화에 대한 반응: 남아시아
남아시아 한 언어 그룹이 “예수 영화” 팀과 동역해서 페이스북에 광고를 런칭했습니다. 열흘 만에 예수님의 탄생을 담은 짧은 동영상을 30만명이 시청했습니다! 거의 만 명이 동영상의 95% 이상을 보았고 또 영화 전체를 보았거나 다른 사람에게 링크를 나누거나 성경 앱을 다운로드할 수 있는 예수 영화 웹사이트에 접속한 이들도 9 천 500명 이나 됩니다. 이 페이스북 광고는 앞으로 몇 개월 동안 더 올릴 예정인데 사람들이 계속해서 이 영화를 보고 서로 소통하며 열린 마음으로 질문과 의견에 응답하며 감동을 나눌 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Pray for travel mercies: for our staff who are traveling to celebrate Christ’s birth with family and for families who are coming to JAARS to spend Christmas with staff members.
