Joseph & Joyce Park: Kaninuwa Bible translation, Papua New Guinea
Joseph and Joyce are thankful for the week-long meeting they attended in early April. Language workers met together at the Ukarumpa Center to share useful information re Bible translation, literacy, and other language related ministries. Along with the draft of the translation materials up to chapter 12 of the Gospel of Matthew, Soktes, Jack and Levi will be out in Alotau at the end of April. Please pray that the Lord will provide the necessary boat fare, food and keep them safe through the rough sea route. Pray also for the Parks that they prepare well, getting things arranged before they go down to the Alotau center and for good health. Pray that the Kaninuwa translation team members will be able to faithfully serve their ministry with God’s abundant grace and strength.

박 선교사 부부는 감사하게 지난 4월 초에 일 주일 동안 우카룸파 센터에서 모이는 언어 사역자 회의에 참석하여 참가자들과 함께 성경번역 및 각종 언어 관련 사역에 대한 경험과 정보를 나누었습니다. 카니누와 번역팀이 마태복음 12장까지 마친 초역 자료를 가지고, 속테스, 잭, 래비가 4월 말에 알로타우로 나올 예정인데, 필요한 뱃삯과 식품들을 잘 준비하도록, 그리고 거친 바닷길의 여정을 지켜주시도록 기도해 주세요. 박 선교사 부부도 우카룸파 센터에서 필요한 준비를 잘 마치고 건강하게 카니누와 번역팀과 알로타우에서 만나도록, 하나님의 풍성한 은혜와 강건케 하심으로 번역팀원 모두 맡은 사역들을 잘 감당하도록 기도해 주세요.

Silk Road Ascent (SRA): Bible translation in a sensitive area (Do not forward or post it anywhere online)
The T project: The banks continue to “move the goalposts” when it comes to receiving funds from outside of the country. The last wire transfer from SIL to IBT in Dec was not immediately released. It required two letters from SIL and then further confirmation from the registration authority in the country to confirm IBT’s legal status in the country. Future wire transfers will come with a brief statement saying how the funds will be used. Please ask God’s help on these critical obstacles.

T 프로젝트: 현지 은행들이 국외에서 수령받는 자금에 대한 규정을 계속 바꾸고 있습니다. 지난 12월에 에스아이엘 에서 현지단체(IBT)로 전신 송금한 것을 바로 인출할 수 없었고 IBT의 국내 법적 지위를 보증하기 위해 에스아이엘로 부터 두 통의 서신을 받은 후에도 현지 동록관청의 추가 확인을 요구한 바 있습니다. 향후 송금 시에는 자금의 용처를 설명하는 간이 명세서를 첨부하게 될 것입니다. 이러한 중대한 장애물을 하나님의 도우심으로 해결받도록 기도해 주세요.

Persistent prayer needed for churches: Ukraine and Russia
Please pray fervently for the churches in Russia and the Ukraine. Half of the pastors in Russia are from Ukraine and are separated from their families. Pray that churches in Russia will be allowed to continue praying for and about to stop the war in the Ukraine. People in the churches continue to praise God in the bomb shelters and help people around them in need, often risking their own lives. The situation is changing day-by-day and hour by hour. Pray for God’s protection over these Christ-followers and that they will continue to stay strong in their faith.
교회를 위한 지속적인 기도가 필요합니다 : 우크라이나와 러시아
러시아와 우크라이나 교회들을 위해 열심으로 기도해 주세요. 러시아에 있는 목회자의 절반은 우크라이나 출신으로 가족들과 떨어져 있습니다. 러시아의 교회들이 우크라이나 전쟁 종식을 위해 계속해서 기도하도록 손모아 주세요. 우크라이나 교회의 성도들이 방공호 안에서도 계속해서 하나님을 찬양하고 목숨을 걸어야 하는 상황속에서도 어려움을 당한 이웃들을 도우며 기도합니다. 전쟁의 상황은 하루가 다르게 시시각각 변하고 있습니다. 예수님을 믿는 성도들을 향한 하나님의 보호하심과 그들이 믿음안에서 계속해서 강건할 수 있기를 기도해 주세요.
Scripture for people migrating to other countries: Colombia, Americas
Faith Comes by Hearing (FCBH) and the Wycliffe Global Alliance Americas Area are considering a collaborative initiative with Alliance Organisations, mission networks and churches along the busy migration route from Colombia to the northern border of Mexico. People migrating from many countries travel through South America seeking better living opportunities. The goal of the initiative is to have Biblical resources for the travellers so they can receive the Word of God in the languages they best understand. Audio Bible materials by FCBH in the languages of the migrants are being tested and used for evangelism and discipleship. In one instance, Haitian people practised Audio Bible exercises and were delighted to hear their language and learn that people were praying for them. Pray that many migrants will be reached with the Scriptures as they journey. Pray that local churches and mission organisations will get involved if this initiative is launched.
타국으로 이주하는 사람들을 위한 성경: 콜롬비아, 아메리카
믿음은 들음에서 나며(FCBH)와 위클리프 국제연대 미주지역 팀이 콜롬비아에서 멕시코 북부 국경으로 이어지는 분주한 이주 경로를 따라 국제연대 기관들과 선교 네트워크및 지역 교회들과 함께 협력 사역을 주도하고 있습니다. 여러나라에서 이주한 사람들은 더 나은 삶의 기회를 찾아 남미를 통과하는데 이 사역의 목표는 여주민들이 가장 잘 이해할 수 있는 그들의 모어로 된 하나님의 말씀을 접할 수 있도록 성경적 자원을 갖는 것입니다. 이주민들의 언어로 된 FCBH의 오디오 성경은 전도와 제자 양육을 위해 검증된 후 사용되고 있습니다. 한 예로, 아이티 사람들은 오디오 성경공부를 하면서 자기네 언어를 듣고 사람들이 그들을 위해 기도하고 있다는 것을 알게 되고 기뻐했습니다. 많은 이주민들이 그들의 여정 가운데 자기네 말로된 성경을 접할 수 있도록, 이 사역이 시작되면 많은 지역 교회들과 선교 단체들이 함께 동참하도록 기도해 주세요.
