L & C: Bible translation in a sensitive area of Asia / remote assignment
L and C attended a face-to-face team retreat in Korea in early July with translators working in the same sensitive area. Thank God for a good time encouraging each other through the sharing time of colleagues who experienced God's special plan and guidance at this meeting. L continues to learn the target language online with a local language helper, while also helping the Z language translation team to exegete and translate Genesis. He is going to have a new language helper for a while due to personal reasons of the current one. Please pray that L can communicate well and have a good relationship with the new language helper. Pray for L and C to be strengthened and able to focus on their ministry. Pray that the international flights to this country will be open soon so that they can meet and work together in person with the national translation team members on the field.
L and C 선교사: 성경번역, 아시아 보안지역 / 원격 사역
L and C 선교사는 지난 7월 초순에 같은 보안지역에서 사역하는 번역 사역자들과의 대면 팀수련회를 한국에서 모였습니다. 이 모임에서 하나님의 특별하신 계획과 인도함을 경험한 여러 선교사들의 나눔의 시간을 통해 서로 격려하는 좋은 시간을 가졌음에 감사드립니다. L 선교사는 계속해서 현지인과 온라인으로 대상 언어습득을 하면서, Z 언어 번역팀의 창세기 주해-해석을 돕고 있습니다. 현지인 언어조력자의 사정상 잠시 다른 사람으로 바뀌게 되는데 새롭게 만날 언어 조력자와도 좋은 관계로 그리고 잘 소통할 수 있도록, 영육간에 강건하여서 맡은 사역에 집중할 수 있도록, 하루 속히 하늘 길이 열려서 현지인 번역 팀원들과 함께 만나 대면으로 사역할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Pray for transitions: Asia-Pacific
Simon Wan, Director of Wycliffe Global Alliance Asia-Pacific Area, is stepping down at the end of December after serving in the role for six years. Simon will assume a church engagement role with Wycliffe Singapore as his next assignment. Ask God for his blessings of wisdom, grace and favor on Simon as he adjusts to his new role. Pray for the Lord’s anointing upon the new Asia-Pacific Area Director and a smooth turnover of responsibilities.

위클리프 국제연대 아시아 태평양 지역의 대표 사이먼 선교사가 6년간의 임기를 마치고 올해 12월말로 사임합니다. 다음 사역으로 사이먼 선교사는 위클리프 싱가폴에서 교회 협력 사역을 맡게 됩니다. 이 새로운 역할에 적응하는 동안 하나님께서 지혜와 은혜로 축복해 주시도록, 새 아시아 태평양 지역 대표에게도 주의 기름 부으심과 순조로운 인수인계 과정이 잘 이루어지도록 함께 기도해 주세요.
Leadership of the national Bible translation tables: Americas
Since June 2018 in Latin America, the Wycliffe Global Alliance has facilitated a collaborative model called “National Bible Translation and Scripture Impact Tables.” The Tables are possible thanks to the application of the concept of “third space,” where an environment of trust has been co-created for people to live and serve together as friends in God's mission. About 160 leaders and 140 ministries are represented in 12 national Tables. The Peripheral Support team, a group of six regional leaders and members of the Americas Area Alliance team, met to think about and discuss the sustainability and future of the Tables. Their purpose was to analyze the table model; study the process of each one; and reflect on key roles in facilitating national roundtables, including the differences between organizational and network leadership, and the biblical foundations for network governance. The role of this team is to serve, encourage, accompany, facilitate, advise and guide those participating in the Tables. Give glory to God for this diversity in leadership and for the growth in the participation of national and indigenous leadership in the ministry of Bible translation.
국가 성경 번역 테이블의 리더십: 미주 지역
2018년 6월부터 위클리프 국제연대는 라틴 아메리카 지역에 "국가 성경 번역과 성경의 영향 모임” 라는 협력 모델을 돕고 있습니다. 이 모임은 사람들이 하나님의 선교에서 친구로서 함께 살면서 섬길 수 있도록 함께 만들어진 신뢰의 환경인 "제3의 공간" 이라는 개념의 적용을 통해 이루어졌습니다. 남미 12개의 나라에서 약 160명의 지도자들과 140개의 사역팀들이 이 모임을 대표합니다. 6명의 지역 리더들과 미주 국제 연대 팀원으로 구성된 사역 지원팀이 모임의 모델을 분석하고자 하는 목적으로 만나서 이 모임의 지속 가능성과 미래에 대해 생각하고 논의했습니다. 이 과정은 각각의 과정 연구, 조직과 네트워크 리더십 간의 차이점, 네트워크 총괄과정에 대한 대한 성경적 기초를 포함한 국가 원탁회의를 촉진하는 데 있어서 필요한 핵심 역할에 대해 숙고합니다. 팀의 역할은 모임에 참여하는 사람들을 섬기고 격려하고, 동반과 조력, 조언하고 안내하는 것입니다. 리더십의 다양성과 성경 번역 사역에 대한 국가적, 토착적인 리더십의 참여를 통해 하나님께 영광을 돌립니다.
