사순절 묵상집
위클리프성경번역선교회에서 제작한 “예수님의 마지막 말씀들” 이란 주제의 사순절 묵상집을 6주간에 걸처 구글 드라이브를 통하여 여러분들과 함께 공유합니다. 사망의 정복과 구원의 소망을 준비하는 이 부활절에 예수님께서 마지막으로 남기신 구절들을 묵상하며 그 각각의 말씀을 통해 전해주신 강력한 교훈들을 발견하고 함께 은혜를 나누시기 바랍니다.

WBTC-GBT English tutoring program, Season 4
We are very thankful to God for the hopeful start of the fourth season of the English tutoring program for GBT staff, in collaboration between Wycliffe Canada and Global Bible Translators (GBT), March 1 to May 11, by His grace. Seven tutors, composed of volunteers and retired missionaries of Wycliffe Canada, and the students of GBT missionary workers will have 10 sessions. As students have definitely improved their English proficiency through this program, both students and tutors started this season with much higher expectations. We are very thankful for this, and ask your prayers for successful classes, and that there will be a great impact on the field, with more productive Bible translation ministries of the multicultural teams.
캐나다와 한국 영어 튜터링 프로그램 4기 시작
지난 3월 1일부터 5월 11일까지 진행되는, 한국성경번역선교회(GBT) 사역자들의 영어 능력 향상을 위한 튜터링 프로그램 4기가 하나님의 은혜로 시작되었습니다. 위클리프캐나다 은퇴 선교사들과 자원봉사자들로 이뤄진 7 분의 교사와 10 분의 GBT 사역자들이 참여하여 10 번의 세션을 갖게 됩니다. 이 프로그램을 통해 확실한 영어 능력 향상이 이뤄지고, 모두 높은 기대감을 갖고 참여하고 있음에 감사드립니다. 이번 시즌에도 모든 세션이 잘 진행되고 계속해서 더 많은 분들이 참여하고 그 결과 성경번역 선교 현장에서 다문화 팀 사역이 더 원활하게 잘 이뤄지도록 기도해 주세요.

Silk Road Ascent (SRA): Bible translation in a sensitive area (Do not forward or post it anywhere online)
T Project: Little aid has reached the T area since the flooding last year. Some local government and organizations have been able to provide limited relief aid from donations given by people in the region. The project coordinator reports that female heads of households, widows and orphans are suffering in the cold. Pray that the organizations are successful in gathering warm clothing for distribution. Translating this text is more challenging than other stories because of the subject matter, Christ’s life. It is also a much longer text than the others. It has become apparent that this cannot be achieved by the end of March as previously planned; three more months will be needed. The T team hopes to complete these translation goals by the end of June 2023. Please ask for God’s wisdom and grace on the T project.
실크 로드 프로젝트: 성경번역, 보안지역 (수신자 이외에 배포하거나 온라인에 게시하지 말아주세요)
T 프로젝트: 작년 대홍수 이후 이 지역에는 중앙정부의 구호 지원이 별로 이루어지지 않았지만, 지방 정부와 일부 사역 단체들이 지역 주민들이 모금한 기부금으로 제한적인 구호 지원이 제공되었습니다. 프로젝트 코디네이터는 여성 가장과 미망인, 고아들이 추위로 고통받고 있다는 보고를 했습니다. 그래서 이 사역단체들을 통하여 배부될 동절기 의류들이 성공적으로 모아지도록 기도해 주세요. 진행중인 번역중 그리스도의 생애라는 주제 때문에 다른 이야기보다 번역하기가 더 어렵고, 훨씬 더 긴 문장이기도 합니다. 당초 계획했던 3월말까지 번역을 완료하기는 불가능하며 3개월이 더 필요하게 되었습니다. 팀은 금년 6월말까지 완역하는 것을 목표로 소망하고 있습니다. 이 프로젝트에 하나님의 지혜와 은혜가 넘치도록 기도해 주세요.

Developing informal online resources and training: Asia, Pacific
Pray for the WAIT (Wycliffe Alliance Informal Training) working group meeting in Singapore from 14 to 20 March. The idea of creating more free online resources and training emerged during the Asia-Pacific Area Leadership meetings last November, in Bali. These courses can be taught in English, Bahasa Indonesian or any other language. Barry Borneman, Associate Director for Language Program Services for the Asia-Pacific Area, had just successfully facilitated a nine-week online Program Planning course for Wycliffe India. According to Barry, the concept of online training is not new, but WAIT is an extension of what already exists. It will be a product of collaboration among Alliance organization leaders in the area and their experienced staff. Ask the Lord for his guidance and wisdom for the team as they develop the processes involved in making these resources and training available.
비공식 온라인 자료 및 훈련 개발 아시아, 태평양
3월 14일부터 20일까지 싱가포르에서 열리는 위클리프국제연대 비공식 훈련과정의 실무자 모임을 위해 기도해 주세요. 작년 11월 발리에서 열린 아시아 태평양 지역 지도자 회의에서 더 많은 무료 온라인 자료들과 훈련 기회를 제공하자는 아이디어가 나왔는데 이 과정들은 영어, 바하사 인도네시아어 또는 기타 언어로 가르칠 수 있습니다. 아시아 태평양 지역의 언어 프로그램팀 부책임자인 배리 선교사는 위클리프 인도에서 9주 온라인 프로그램 기획 과정을 성공적으로 마쳤습니다. 배리에 의하면 온라인 교육은 새로운 개념이 아니고 이미 있던 프로그램들을 더 확장한 것이라고 말합니다. 이 과정은 해당 지역의 국제연대 리더들과 경험이 풍부한 사역자들간의 협업의 열매가 될 것입니다. 온라인 자료들과 훈련 과정을 개발하는 과정에서 주의 인도하심과 지혜를 허락해 주시도록 기도해 주세요.
Training in Hebrew: Philippines, Israel
Praise God for giving Bethel, a mother-tongue translator serving with Wycliffe Philippines, the opportunity to study the Hebrew language at the Institute for Biblical Languages and Translation (IBLT). Bethel started language study in December 2022 under the sponsorship of Wycliffe Philippines. IBLT is a program of the 4.2.20 Foundation, an Alliance organization. Thank God for this close partnership between these two Alliance organizations: Wycliffe Philippines and 4.2.20 Foundation. Pray for wisdom, joy, and endurance for Bethel to finish the two-year course. May her Hebrew language skills be an encouragement and help for translators in the language communities she serves.

위클리프필리핀의 모어 번역가인 베델 사역자에게 성서 언어 번역 연구소(이스라엘)에서 히브리어를 공부할 기회를 주신 하나님을 찬양합니다. 베델은 작년 말에 위클리프필리핀의 후원으로 언어학 공부를 시작했습니다. 이 연구소는 국제연대 단체인4.20.2020 재단의 프로그램 중 하나로 이로 인해 위클리프필리핀과 4.20.2022 재단, 이 두 단체간의 긴밀한 동역을 허락하신 하나님께 감사드립니다. 2년 과정의 연구를 잘 마칠 수 있도록 지혜, 기쁨과 인내를 주시도록, 베델 사역자의 히브리어 능력을 통해 섬기는 언어 공동체의 동료 번역가들에게 격려와 도움이 되도록 기도해 주세요
