Wordlovers Blessing Nations, Online prayer meeting in Korean
The Korean Diaspora Engagement team has begun online prayer meetings, held at 10 pm EST for an hour, on the last Thursday of every odd numbered month. We will have the second online prayer meeting on Thursday, March 30, and the title of the prayer meeting is 'Answering Prayer.' We will have fellowship in God's Word and prayer for Wycliffe Canada's Focus Projects, Korean members and diaspora church engagement ministries. Please come together with your friends who are interested in this prayer movement. (Please feel free to share the zoom link below with your interested friends.)

We thankfully share the prayer request items for Muslims in Canada during the Ramadan period, developed by Loving Muslims Together. We hope you will become a part of the prayer movement for Muslims, also praying for Bible translation projects carried on for language groups with Islamic belief around the world, especially in some parts of Africa, Middle Asia, South East Asia, and the Muslim diaspora scattered around the world.

Loving Muslims Together 단체에서 만든 30일간 무슬림을 위한 기도제목을 공유합니다. 라마다 기간 중에 주변의 무슬림 이웃과의 사랑과 복음 나눔을 위해, 현재 중앙아시아, 아프리카, 동남아시아 등 세계 여러 지역에서 무슬림 권 언어 민족들을 위한 성경번역 프로젝트를 위해 특별히 기도하는 기간이 되시길 바랍니다.

Cree initiative: Naskapi, interns
Bill and Norma Jean had accompanied two interns as they traveled north to serve the Naskapi community alongside the translation team. Jonah Woodward, who has just completed his academic work in his linguistics program at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, and his wife Allison will live in the Naskapi community for six weeks. They will work on learning to speak the Naskapi language, joining in with community life and assisting wherever they can, all the while learning to function successfully in a new culture and community. Bill and Norma Jean will be guiding them and walking alongside them during their first week in the community. Then Jonah and Allison will be there for six weeks without Bill and Norma Jean, providing support remotely through the internet and weekly interviews. Please pray for Jonah and Allison as they work with Marianne and other members of the Naskapi team during the weeks of their internship. Pray for translator Silas’ wife Susan who is in the hospital outside the community for complications and an infection due to cancer treatments, and for Marianne’s mother Martha, who is in the hospital for C-19 and pneumonia. Both Silas and Marianne are still actively working on the Naskapi translation and language projects. Pray also for health, safety and travel mercies for all of the team and that the Naskapi Scriptures in the Naskapi language will continue to speak to the hearts of the people in this community.

빌과 노마 진 선교사 부부는 번역팀과 함께 나스카피 공동체를 섬기기 위해 퀘벡 북부 원주민 마을로 두 명의 인턴들과 함께 동행했습니다. 시카고 무디 신학교에서 언어학 학위를 마친 조나와 앨리슨 인턴 선교사 부부가 6주 동안 나스카피 공동체에서 생활할 예정입니다. 이들은 나스카피 말하기를 배우고, 공동체 생활에 참여하고, 할 수 있는 모든 일들을 도우며, 새로운 원주민 문화와 공동체에서 성공적으로 적응하기 위해 노력할 것이고, 빌 선교사 부부는 첫 주 동안 인턴들과 함께 잘 적응할 수 있도록 안내하며 함께 합니다. 이후 조나와 앨리슨 선교사는 나머지 기간 동안 온라인으로 빌 선교사 부부와 주간 인터뷰를 하며 필요한 멘토링으로 돕게됩니다. 조나와 앨리슨 선교사 부부가 인턴십 기간 동안, 마리안과 다른 나스카피 사역 팀원들과 함께 사역을 잘 감당할 수 있도록, 암 치료로 인한 합병증과 감염으로 시내 병원에 입원 중인 번역가 사일러스의 아내 수잔과 코로나와 폐렴으로 병원에 입원 중인 마리안의 어머니 마르다를 위해 중보해 주세요. 사일러스와 마리안은 여전히 나스카피어 번역 및 언어 프로젝트에 적극적으로 참여하고 있습니다. 또한 모든 팀원들의 건강과 안전, 여행중 자비를 위해, 그리고 나스카피어로 번역된 나스카피 말씀이 이 지역 사람들의 마음에 계속 전해지고 역사할 수 있도록 간절히 기도해 주세요.

Blessed to be a blessing: Germany
Seminar für Sprache und Kultur, known as ssk , is part of SIL International’s worldwide training programs. Located in Germany, ssk is one of the programs of the European Training Network. European Training Network courses and programs offer training for cross-cultural workers in linguistics, translation and literacy in various European locations. Ask God to provide enough participants to make running the ssk courses viable. Some of the courses are staff intensive, so pray for enough teachers and trainers. Ask God to help participants learn what will be most useful for their work and ministry. There are also ssk courses that focus on language teaching for refugees and trauma healing. Ask God to bless churches through these materials and training so that they can bless others.

언어 문화 세미나 (ssk)는 에스아이엘 국제본부의 국제 훈련 프로그램의 일부입니다. 독일에 위치한 이 세미나는 유럽 훈련 네트워크 프로그램들 중 하나로 프로그램의 과정과 내용들은 유럽 여러 지역에서 언어학, 번역 및 문해 분야의 다문화 사역자들을 위한 훈련을 제공하고 있습니다. 이 세미나 과정이 잘 열릴 수 있도록 충분한 참가자들을 보내 주시기를, 또한 사역자들이 많이 필요한 일부과정들을 위해 충분한 교사와 강사들이 확보되도록, 하나님께서 참가자들이 자신의 일과 사역에 가장 유익한 것이 것이 무엇인지를 배울 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 난민들을 위한 언어 교육, 트라우마 치유에 중점을 둔 과정들도 있습니다. 이러한 자료들과 훈련을 통해 다른 사람들을 축복할 수 있도록 하나님께서 교회들을 축복해 주시도록 기도해 주세요.
SoliDeo, a virtual training initiative: Panama, Americas
PAAM, Panameños Alcanzando al Mundo (Panamanians Reaching the World), in partnership with other organisations serving in the Americas, has launched SoliDeo, a virtual training initiative for Latin Americans. SoliDeo seeks to equip cross-cultural workers, pastors and leaders through affordable online courses on the Biblical foundations of missions. It offers courses for pastors and church leaders such as the biblical basis for God’s call to churches to participate in missions and how to create a mobilization strategy. For mission workers and staff there are courses such as the biblical basis and history of mission, strategic and cross-cultural fundamentals of mission, Old and New Testament panorama, spiritual vitality and spiritual disciplines, and community development and mission. SoliDeo seeks to provide future Bible translation workers with “a responsible approach to the Scriptures, an interpretation that respects the original context, and an application that is properly contextualized to the realities of the world.” Pray for the Lord’s guidance for PAAM´s SoliDeo initiative and work team, so that it may be in tune with God's purpose. Ask him to bless students with effective preparation for service in Bible translation and cross-cultural mission.

세계를 향한 파나마인들 (PAAM) 은 미주 지역에서 섬기고 있는 다른 단체들과 협력해 라틴 아메리카를 위한 가상 교육 운동 솔리데오를 시작했습니다. 솔리데오는 선교의 성경적 기초에 대해 비용이 부담스럽지 않은 온라인 과정을 통해 타문화 사역자, 목회자 및 지도자들을 양성합니다. 이 훈련을 통해 선교에 참여하도록 교회를 부르신 하나님의 성경적 근거와 동원 전략을 만드는 방법과 같은 목회자와 교회 지도자를 위한 훈련 과정을 제공합니다. 선교사들과 사역자들을 위해 선교의 성경적 기초와 역사, 선교의 전략적이고 타문화적인 기초, 구약과 신약의 파노라마, 영적 활력과 영성 훈련, 지역사회 개발과 선교학 등의 과정들이 있습니다. 솔리데오는 미래의 성경 번역 사역자들에게 "성경에 대한 책임감 있는 접근 방식, 원문의 문맥을 존중하는 해석, 현세에 대해 적절하게 상황화된 적용"을 추구합니다. 하나님께서 PAAM의 이 솔리데오 운동과 사역팀이 하나님의 목적에 부합하도록 인도해 주시고 학생들이 성경 번역과 타문화 선교를 효과적으로 준비할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.
