 박요섭 / 조선향 선교사: 카니누와 성경 번역, 파푸아뉴기니

캐나다 본국사역을 잘 마치고 파푸아뉴기니로 복귀하기 위해 8/12(토)에 캘거리를 떠납니다. 본국 사역 동안 여러 모로 사랑과 격려를 더해주신 교회와 성도님들께 감사드리며, 하나님의 더 넘치는 은혜와 갚으심을 간구합니다. 파푸아뉴기니 가는 길에 호주도 방문하게 됩니다. '건강하고 안전한' 여정을 위해 기도해 주세요. 카니누와 번역팀이 디모데전후서를 번역하고 있습니다. 함께 협력하여 본문을 철저히 연구하고 성령의 도우심으로 잘 번역할 수 있도록, 그리고 카니누와 종족이 속히 그들의 언어로 된 완전한 성경을 가질 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Joseph & Joyce Park: Kaninuwa Bible translation, PNG

The Parks are leaving Calgary on Saturday, August 12 to return to Papua New Guinea after a successful home assignment in Canada. They are grateful to the partnering churches and individuals for their love and encouragement in many ways during their home assignment, and we pray for God's more abundant grace and repayment. The Parks will also be visiting Australia on our way to Papua New Guinea. Please pray for their "healthy and safe" journey. The Kaninuwa translation team are working on the translation of 1 and 2 Timothy. Pray that they will work together to thoroughly study the text and translate it well with the help of the Holy Spirit, and that the Kaninuwa people will have a complete Bible in their language soon.

라이프게임

오는 8/15-17일에 대한기도원에서 라이프게임이 열립니다. 미주한인예수교장로회 교회 연합 청소년 수련회를 위해 열리는데, 최소한의 참가인원 60명 이상, 또한 필요한 스탭들 10명이 채워지도록 기도해 주세요. 준비 중인 이규준 한진숙 선교사와 현재까지 모집된 스탭들을 위하여, 참가자들 모두 라이프게임을 통해 각자의 삶을 향한 하나님나라의 가치와 목적을 발견하게 되도록 기도해 주세요.

LiFEgame  

Korean Diaspora Engagement team is asked to serve LiFEgame for the rally of high school students from Korean American Presbyterian churches in the Greater Toronto Area, at Dae Han Christian Prayers Group, August 15-17. Please pray that God will send minimum 60 participants and 8 staff memberswho will serve with the Game Masters, Gyoojun and Jinsook. Pray also that all the participants and the staff will have the Kingdom value and God-given purpose for their lives.

나스카피어 독해 및 작문 코스: 크리 원주민 성경번역 운동 

매길대학 교사 양성 과정과 협력해 나스카피 원주민들에게 제공하는 나스카피 언어 독해 및 작문 과정이 개설되어 있는데, 셋째 과목으로 카와와치카맼 마을에서 직접 원주민들과 함께 배우는 과목을 지난 6 월에 잘 마치게 되었음에 감사드립니다! 좋은 나스카피 언어의 문법과 작문의 모델로 나스카피어 성경이 사용되었습니다! 또한 이번 과정에 빌 선교사와 그곳에서 12년 동안 나스카피 학교를 다녀 1999년에 고등학교를 졸업했던 아들 벤쟈민이 동행했던 것도 의미 깊은 일이었습니다. 나스카피 원주민 추장도 자신과 리더들에게 동일한 과정을 가르쳐주어, 자신들도 훨씬 더 좋은 나스카피어를 구사할 수 있도록 해달라고 부탁했습니다. 이 모든 사역에 역사하시는 하나님께 감사드리며, 계속해서 이처럼 원주민들을 섬기는 좋은 프로그램들을 위해 나스카피 공동체와 퀘벡 정부와 매길 대학 등과 동역이 이어지게 기도해 주세요.

Naskapi Reading & Writing course with McGill Univ: Cree Initiative

We are thankful for the Naskapi reading and writing course offered to the Naskapi people in partnership with the teacher training program of McGill University. Its third course taught directly with the Naskapi people in the village of Kawawachikamac was successfully completed in June! The textbook of the course was the Naskapi Bible as a model for good Naskapi grammar and writing! It was also meaningful that Bill and his son Benjamin, who attended the Naskapi school there for 12 years to graduate in 1999 there, accompanied on this course. The Naskapi Chief has also asked Bill to teach his leaders the same course, so that they can also speak much better Naskapi. Praise God for His work in all of this, and pray for the continued partnership with the Naskapi community, the Quebec government, and McGill University for this kind of First Nations serving programs.

위클리프 국제 연대 세계 성경번역 기도 제목   Streams of Prayer, Wycliffe Global Alliance

수어로 된 마가복음 발간: 루마니아 

지난 6/17일에 루마니아 수어(LSR) 마가복음이 번역된 것을 축하하는 행사가 있었습니다. 40명의 청각장애인과 일반인들이 함께 모였고, 드라마, 간략한 사역 보고, 기도와 찬양 등 모든 행사가 수어로 기획되고 진행되었습니다. 참가자들의 열띤 얼굴에서 그 동안 모든 수고가 얼마나 값진 것이었는지를 확인할 수 있었습니다. 루마니아 위클리프에서는 마가복음과 함께 연대별 성경이야기 32개가 수어 동영상으로 담긴 USB 메모리 스틱을  루마니아 내 모든 청각장애인 교회에 배포할 수 있도록 준비했습니다. 앞으로 준비된 모든 수어 성경 동영상이 배포될 것을 인해, 지금까지 내내 신실하시고, 앞길을 보여주시고 인도하신 주님께  감사 찬송 드리며, 이 수어 성경으로 인해 청각장애인 공동체 안에서 계속하여 열매가 있게 하시며 더 많은 청각장애인들이 예수님을 구주로 영접하게 되도록 기도해 주세요.

Launch of the Gospel of Mark in Romanian Sign Language: Romania

On 17 June more than 40 Deaf and hearing people gathered to celebrate the launch of the Gospel of Mark in Romanian Sign Language (LSR). Deaf people planned and organised the event, which included dramas, a short report of the ministry, prayer and songs, all signed in LSR. The enthusiasm on their faces proved once again that the work of Bible translation is worth all the effort! On this occasion, Wycliffe Romania prepared USB memory sticks containing all the passages translated into LSR so far (Mark and the 32 Chronological Bible Stories), to be distributed to every Deaf church in Romania. Praise the Lord that each church will have its own copy of these Scriptures, accessible at any time. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness, guidance, and providence along the way. Pray that the translated passages will continue to bear fruit among the community and that more and more Deaf will come to accept Jesus as their Saviour.

CrossVenture|Aero, our high-energy aviation camp for young people, begins today. Pray that the 12 young campers will consider serving the Lord in mission aviation someday.

Thirty-three new staff members are completing their month-long ICC training today. Pray that their hearts will be good soil as they live out all they have absorbed and prepare for assignments around the globe.

Prayer for JAARS maintenance specialists in Papua New Guinea(PNG) who are there for about month to help work on aircraft in SIL-PNG’s fleet.

12명의 참가자들과 함께 오늘 8/7일부터 항공 크로스벤처 프로그램이 시작됩니다. 열정에 넘치는 이 학생들이 장차 항공 선교로 하나님을 섬길 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

39명의 선교사 후보생들이 8/9일에 석 달 동안의 다문화의사소통 코스를 마치게 됩니다. 배운 것을 잘 열매로 맺어낼 수 있는 좋은 마음밭이 되게 하시고, 이제 파송받을 현지사역을 잘 준비하게 기도해 주세요.

한 달 동안 파푸아 뉴기니에 머물면서 그곳에 있는 비행기들을 돌보기 위해 일하게 될 정비 팀이 사역 잘 감당할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요
