알버트/마르다 (이삭, 모세) 선교사: 위클리프 대만 대표, 보안국가 지역 책임자

알버트 선교사는 연례 회원대회를 11월 말에 잘 마치게 되어 감사합니다. 갈마란(Kavalan, 噶瑪蘭)족의 한 장로가 손으로 쓰며 번역한 성경 원본을 디지털화하는 작업이 순조롭게 완료되도록 기도해 주세요. 또한 12월에 예정된 루카이족의 오디오 성경 봉헌식이 주님께 영광 올려 드리도록 기도해 주세요. 마르다 선교사는 두 달 이상 된 귀 염증이 속히 깨끗이 낫도록, 12월에는 출석 교회에서 한국식 김치 담그기를 가르치고 간증할 기회가 있을 예정인데, 주님께서 잘 사용해 주시기를 손모아 주세요.

Albert and Martha (Isaac, Moses): Director of Wycliffe Taiwan and Regional Manager of a sensitive area, respectively

Albert is thankful that the annual general meeting went well at the end of November. Pray for the smooth process of the digitization of a handwritten and translated Bible by a Kavalan elder. Pray for the Rukai people's upcoming audio Bible dedication ceremony in December to bring glory to the Lord. Pray for Martha's over two-month-old ear infection to heal quickly. In December, Martha will have the opportunity to teach Korean style kimchi making and testify at her church, so please pray that the Lord will use her well through these opportunities.

이규준 / 한진숙 선교사: 디아스포라 협력 디렉터, 캐나다

이 선교사가 밴쿠버/캘거리 지역 방문하여 캔아이엘 이사회와 지역별로 동역자들을 만나며 교제와 협력을 강화할 수 있었음에 감사드립니다. 특별히 캘거리에서 기도팀과 캘거리한인장로교회와 위클리프 태국 대표와의 만남이 잘 이뤄지도록 섬길 수 있었음에 감사드리고 이번 주일에 양자 간의 만남을 통해 더 발전적인 협력이 일어나도록 계속 기도해 주시면 감사하겠습니다. 최근에 캐나다 모자이크 칼리지의 도시선교사 양성과정에서 카이로스 코스와 미션플랜팅이란 과목을 잘 섬기고 종강하게 되었음에 또한 감사드립니다. 오는 목요일(11월 30일)에는 홍마르다 선교사의 소개로 미국의 미드웨스턴 침례교 신학교의 선교과목 수강 학생들을 위하여 성경번역 사역을 소개합니다. 성경없는 부족들을 위한 비전과 북미와 세계 열방 가운데 진행 중인 성경번역 사역의 필요가 잘 나눠지도록 기도해 주세요.

Gyoojun & Jinsook Lee: Director of Diaspora Engagement, Canada

We are grateful that Gyoojun was able to visit the Vancouver/Calgary areas to meet with the CanIL board and partners in Bible translation to strengthen the fellowship and collaboration. We are especially grateful that in Calgary he was able to coordinate the meeting between the Calgary Prayer Team, Calgary Korean Presbyterian Church, and Tharawat and Jimmy, Wycliffe Thailand's director couple. We would appreciate your continued prayers for further collaboration through the bilateral meetings on November 26 between them. We are also grateful that he was able to serve and complete the Kairos course and Mission Planting course in the Urban Missionary Training Program at Canada Mosaic College recently. This coming Thursday (November 30), Gyoojun will be introducing Bible translation ministry to the students, through Martha's connection, in the missions course at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in the United States. Please pray that the vision for the Bibleless nations and the needs of the ongoing Bible translation work in North America and among the nations of the world will be well shared.

위클리프 태국: 사역보고/합심기도/애찬

지난 11월 19일 (주일)에 이규준 선교사의 방문 기간에 맞춰, 캘거리한인장로교회에서 캘거리 기도팀과 태국에서 캘거리를 방문 중인 타라왓 / 지미 선교사 부부가 함께 모여 사역을 나누고 합심하여 기도하며, 애찬을 나누는 교제 시간이 있었음에 감사드립니다! 미신적인 혼합주의 불교에 젖어 있는 태국의 여러 민족들에게 하나님의 복음이 선포되고 그들의 말로 성경이 번역되어야 하는 일에 태국교회가 앞장서도록 하는 일에 힘쓰고 있는 위클리프 태국의 동원사역과 타라왓 선교사가 직접 섬기고 있는 ‘블레싱 홈 처치’ 전도사역에 대해 보고하고, 내년부터 새롭게 시작되는 이사안성경 번역 프로젝트를 위한 기도제목을 나눴습니다. 11월 26일(주)에 캘거리한인장로교회를 다시 방문하여 선교부와 만남을 가지고 킹덤프렌드십에 대해 자세히 나눌 예정입니다. 더 깊은 관계와 동역의 열매를 위해 함께 기도해 주세요.

Wycliffe Thai Foundation: ministry report/prayer concert/fellowship of feast

We are grateful that the Calgary Prayer Team and visiting missionary couple Tharawat and Jimmy were able to gather together at Calgary Korean Presbyterian Church on Sunday, November 19 to share ministry, pray together, and enjoy a time of fellowship, while Gyoojun was visiting Calgary as well! Tharawat reported on the mobilization work of Wycliffe Thailand, which is working to bring the Thai church to the forefront of the need for the Gospel to be proclaimed and the Bible to be translated into their own language among the many ethnic groups in Thailand soaked in superstitious syncretistic Buddhism. As well, he shared about the evangelistic work of Blessing Home Treatment, where Tharawat serves. He also shared prayer requests for the new Isaan Bible translation project that will begin next year. This Sunday, November 26, we will return to Calgary Korean Presbyterian Church to meet with the mission team and share more about our Kingdom Friendship partnership. Please join us in praying for deeper relationships and the bountiful fruits as they serve together.

함께 성장하기: 2024 전 세계 집회

위클리프 국제 연대의 전 세계 집회가 내년 10월 31일부터 11월 4일까지 “함께 성장하기”라는 주제로 남아프리카공화국 요하네스버그에서 열립니다. 이 모임은 각 국제 연대 단체의 대표들과 이사회 임원들이 동역 단체 및 외부 손님들과 함께 모여 하나님의 음성을 듣고 서로 배울 수 있는 기회가 될 것입니다. 이번 세계 집회는 2020년 모임이 코로나 유행병으로 인해 취소되었기 때문에 8년 만에 열리는 것입니다. 매우 중요한 행사인 만큼 앞으로 몇 달 간 행사 준비를 위해 함께 기도하기를 원합니다. 11월 중 모일 요하네스버그 준비 모임에서는 일부 국제 연대 리더십 팀원들이 호텔 측과 만나 물류에 대한 세부 사항과 현장을 점검하려고 하는데 이 과정에서 필요한 모든 문제들을 잘 해결할 수 있도록, 호텔 관계자들과 좋은 관계를 맺을 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 내년 1월에는 영국 사우스햄턴에서 다시 소그룹이 모여 물류 세부 사항을 논의하기 위해 물류 회의를 계획하고 있습니다. 하나님의 도우심과 인도하심이 있도록, 또한 모든 행사의 물류 관계를 담당할 효과적인 물류팀이 함께 모일 수 있도록 기도해주세요

Growing Together: 2024 Global Gathering

The Global Gathering of Wycliffe Global Alliance will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa from 31 October to 4 November 2024. The theme is “Growing Together”. It is an opportunity for the directors and board chairs from each Alliance organization—together with partners and guests—to gather together, hear God’s voice and learn from one another. This will be the first Global Gathering in eight years, as the 2020 gathering was cancelled due to the pandemic. As this is such a significant event, we will pray for the preparations during the coming months. Please pray for a November 2023 meeting in Johannesburg: Some Alliance Leadership Team members will meet with hotel staff to look into the details of the logistics and see the site in detail. Pray they can address all necessary issues at this stage. Ask God for good interaction with hotel staff. January 2024 logistics meeting in Southampton, UK: A small group will meet to discuss details of logistics. Ask God to help and guide them. Pray that an effective logistics team will come together to take care of all event logistics.

페루의 성경 번역 동역 단체는 7개의 언어 그룹을 섬기고 있습니다. 이 사역의 진척에 꼭 필요한 4륜 구동 차량이 속히 공급될 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

잘스에 있는 알파벳 박물관 부책임자로 섬겨줄 적임자를 보내주시도록 기도해 주세요. 또한 한 달에 두 번 이상 토요일에 봉사할 수 있는 안내 담당 사역자도 필요합니다.

JAARS Prayerline

ray for the ongoing development of the Asas de Socorro advanced aviation training center in Brazil, with support from JAARS and three other U.S. mission aviation organizations.

Our Bible translation partner in Peru is working with seven language groups. Ask God to supply the resources needed to provide a 4WD vehicle to advance their work.

Ask God to provide just the right person to serve as assistant manager for our Alphabet Museum. Also needed is a receptionist to work at least two Saturdays a month.
