인터페이스 세미나: 이글스필드교회

지역 교회가 선교적 교회를 지향하도록 돕는 인터페이스 세미나가 이글스필드한인교회(장성훈 담임목사)에서 2/28, 29, 3/6, 7일 저녁에 열리고 있습니다. 이규준/한진숙 선교사 부부와 목회 팀이 함께 섬기며 당회원들이 먼저 훈련받고 있는데, 교회 전체를 위한 기본 훈련 프로그램으로 정착되게 할 예정입니다. 이 프로그램을 통해 모든 성도들이 선교적 교회에 대해 같은 비전을 품고 한마음으로 하나님의 선교에 동참하게 되는 기초가 잘 다져지도록 기도해 주세요.

Interface at Eaglesfield Community Church

The Interface Seminar to help local churches become missional is being held at Eaglesfield Community Church (ECC, Sen. Pastor, Rev. SungHoon Jang) on the evenings of February 28, 29, March 6, and 7. Gyoojun & Jinsook, with the pastoral team, serve the session members first, intending to establish this as a basic training program for the entire church. Please pray that ECC will lay the foundation of a missional church in a unified way so that most congregants have the same vision and participate in God's mission..

캐나다와 한국 영어 튜터링 프로그램 6기

오는 3월 21일부터 5월 23일까지 진행되는, 한국성경번역선교회(GBT) 사역자들의 영어 능력 향상을 위한 튜터링 프로그램 6기가 하나님의 은혜로 시작될 예정입니다. 위클리프 캐나다의 자원봉사자들과 은퇴 선교사들로 구성된 여러 명의 교사들과 GBT 선교사 사역자들은 총 10번의 세션을 갖게 됩니다. 이 프로그램을 통해 참가자들의 영어 능력 향상이 기대되고, 준비된 교재 외에도 자유로운 토론 주제들도 함께 제공할 것입니다. 이 프로그램을 잘 준비하고 있는 양국의 코디네이터들에게 지혜와 열정을 주시고, 이번 시즌에도 모든 세션이 잘 진행되고 성경 번역 선교 현장에서 다문화 팀 사역이 더 원활하게 잘 이뤄지도록 기도해 주세요.

WBTC-GBT English tutoring program, Season 6

We are very thankful to God for the hopeful start of the sixth season of the English tutoring program for GBT staff, in collaboration between Wycliffe Canada and Global Bible Translators (GBT), from March 21 to May 23, by His grace. Several tutors, composed of volunteers and retired missionaries of Wycliffe Canada, and the students of GBT workers will have ten sessions. The program is expected to improve the participants' English proficiency, and this season, in addition to the prepared materials, it also provides more flexible discussion topics. Please ask God to give His wisdom and enthusiasm to the coordinators and also for successful classes that will have a great impact on the field, with more productive Bible translation ministries in multicultural team settings as a result. productive Bible translation ministries of the multicultural teams.

“L” project update: Bible translation in a sensitive area (Do not forward or post it anywhere online)

The “L” team finished consultant checking nearly ten chapters and will work on the rest in a few weeks. This is the second to last step in getting Mark published. We will have to make some updates/revisions after the consultant checks and re-record the changed audio. Then, God willing, we will publish it. So please pray with us for that whole process to help us improve our translation for God's glory! Praise God for the progress in R's sewing outreach. Pray for the ladies who came to the sewing training that they would like to learn more about Jesus.

자문위원 멘토링과 언어학 훈련: 캐나다

끊임없이 변화하는 세상에 필요한 훈련들을 개발하기 위해 노력하고 있는 캐나다언어문화연구소(밴쿠버소재 캔아이엘) 사역자들에게 지혜 주시도록 기도해 주세요. 2년 전 역량 기반 석사 학위 과정이 새롭게 신설되어 경험이 풍부한 번역가들을 대상으로 현장 자문 위원 멘토링 과정을 제공하기 시작했습니다. 현지 동역 단체들로 부터 이 훈련과정에 대한 요청이 늘어나면서 더 많은 멘토들이 교수진에 합류할 수 있기를 기도하고 있습니다. 켄아이엘은 언어학 박사 과정과 언어학 학사 과정을 새로 개설하고, 신학대학원과 협력하여 다른 주요 언어들로 언어학 훈련을 제공할 수 있도록 애쓰고 있습니다. 이러한 계획들을 위해, 그리고 밴쿠버와 토론토 지역에서 이 캔아이엘 프로그램을 위해 선교에 부름받은 젊은이들을 잘 동원할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Consultant mentoring and linguistics training: Canada

Pray for wisdom for the staff of the Canada Institute of Linguistics (CanIL) as they work to meet training needs in an ever-changing world. With the launch of a new competency-based master’s degree two years ago, CanIL began offering on-location consultant mentoring for highly experienced translators. They are struggling to meet the requests from field partners for more of this training and are praying for mentors who can join the faculty team. CanIL also offers a new doctoral and bachelor's programs in language and linguistics and is working with a local seminary to make linguistics training available in another major world language. Pray for these initiatives, and the recruitment of young people called to missions for CanIL’s programs in Vancouver and Toronto.

언어권을 위한 번역 워크숍: 인도네시아

사당 사파 언어권을 위한 제11차 원스토리 성경번역 워크숍이 3월 2일부터 4 일까지 열립니다. 워크숍에서 각 언어 팀은 성경에 나오는 20가지 이야기를 준비하여 언어 자문 위원들이 점검합니다. 사당 사파 언어권은 하탐, 속브, 코코다, 테히트와 음풀어를 포함하고 있는데 각 번역가들을 위해 기도해 주세요. 하나님께서 그들의 성경 번역에 대한 헌신에 힘을 더해 주시고 그들의 건강을 보호하시며 그들이 목표로 한 번역을 잘 마칠 수 있는 능력도 허락하여 주시도록, 그리고 그들의 가족 또한 하나님께서 보호해 주시기를 기도해 주세요.

Translation workshop for language cluster: Indonesia

The 11th OneStory Bible translation workshop for the Sadang Sapa cluster will take place from 2-4 March. In the workshop, each language team will prepare 20 stories from the Bible, which consultants will then check. The Sadang Sapa cluster includes the Hatam, Sougb, Kokoda, Tehit and Mpur languages. Pray for the translators—that God will boost their commitment to Bible translation, protect their health, and give them the ability to reach their translation goals. Ask God to protect their families as well.

Please pray for the maintenance needs of the Kwadima II, and for the specialized river vessels and operational training, we provide our mission partners in Africa and South America. Pray also for the life-saving water safety equipment and training we provide to their personnel.
