이글스필드한인장로교회 2차 인터페이스 세미나

지난 2주 동안 이글스필드한인장로교회 (장성훈 담임목사)에서 목회팀과 이 선교사 부부가 조력하고 당회가 참여하는 인터페이스 세미나를 잘 마쳤음에 감사드립니다. 당회원 모두 카이로스 코스에 참여했고 단기 선교 경험이 많으며 선교에 열정이 있어, 정말 풍성하고 활기 넘치는 시간이었습니다. 올해에는 항존직 대상으로, 내년부터 전교인 대상으로 인터페이스 세미나를 진행할 계획입니다. 교회가 단순히 선교에 열심을 내는 게 아니라, 모든 성도가 선교적 삶을 살아가도록 돕는 선교적 교회로 발돋움하도록 기도해 주세요. 또한 더 많은 교회들이 인터페이스 세미나로 유익을 얻도록기도해 주세요.

Second Interface Seminar at Eaglesfield Church

We are grateful for the past two weeks of Interface Seminars at Eaglesfield Community Church (Sen. Pastor, Rev. Sung Hoon Jang), facilitated by the pastoral team and Gyoojun & Jinsook and attended by all the session members. They have participated in the Kairos course, had a lot of short-term mission experience, and are passionate about missions, so it was an enriching and energizing time. ECC is planning to organize Interface Seminars for deacons and deaconesses this year and for the whole church next year. Pray that the church will become a missional church, not just doing missions a lot but one that helps every member live a missional life. Pray that more churches will also benefit from the Interface Seminar.

이 선교사 부부는 3월 16일(토) 하루 종일 대면으로 모이는 카이로스 한국어 코스를 섬기기 위해 에드먼턴으로 여행하며, 이규준 선교사는 3월 15일에 밴쿠버에서 열리는 캔아이엘(캐나다언어문화연구소) 이사회에서 정책 및 교육 모임 시간에 성경 번역에 AI를 활용하는 안건에 대해 토론을 인도하고, 3월 17일(주일)에는 에드먼턴 한인 안디옥 장로교회 (한흥렬 담임목사)에서 말씀을 전할 예정입니다. 오가는 여행 중 안전, 건강과 열매가 풍성한 사역되도록 기도해 주세요.

Gyoojun & Jinsook Lee: Director of Diaspora Engagement, Canada

The Lees will travel to Edmonton to lead a one-day face-to-face Kairos Korean course on March 16 (Sat), discuss the use of AI in Bible translation at the CanIL Board of Directors meeting during their policy and training session on March 15 (Fri), and preach at Edmonton Korean Antioch Presbyterian Church (Rev. Henry Han, senior pastor) on March 17. Please pray for travel mercies, good health, and fruitful ministry.

성경 이야기를 준비하고 내면화하면서 이야기꾼은 성경 이야기가 마치 자신을 위한 것임을 깨닫게 됩니다. 그녀는 성경 이야기를 통해 하나님께서 자신에게 말씀하시는 것 같다고 말했습니다. 이 깨달음은 그녀의 기도 방식을 바꾸게 되었고, 지금은 더 많은 시간을 기도에 할애하고 있습니다. 훈련을 받기 위해 센터에 오는 자매들을 위해, 지식과 은사를 나누는 교사들을 위해, 원스토리 사역자가 매달 이야기꾼들을 만나기 위해 안전하게 여행할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 이야기꾼이 이야기를 통해 자기네 삶을 변화시키는 시간이 될 수 있도록, 성경 이야기들을 다른 사람들에게 전할 때 다른 자매들의 마음도 열리도록 기도해 주세요.

W Project: Story-Crafting Benefits
By practicing and internalizing the Bible stories, the crafter realizes that these Bible stories are meant for her. She shared that she feels like God is speaking to her through them. This realization has led her to change how she prays; she now spends more time praying. Please pray for the women who come to the center for training. Pray for the teachers as they share their knowledge and skills. Pray for the OneStory facilitator as she travels monthly to meet with the crafter. Pray this will be a life-changing time for the story crafter as she works through the stories. Pray for the hearts of the women to be open as the stories get presented to others.

구약성경 번역이 증가하도록 기도하기: 글로벌

시간이 흐르면서 여러 언어에서 구약성서에 접할 수 없는 여러 언어들이 접근하기 힘든 공백이 있습니다. 신약성경의 25%가 구약성경을 언급하거나 직접 인용하기 때문에 기도에서 이 주제를 다루는 것이 중요합니다. 현재 성경 전체 번역본의 수는 신약성경 번역본의 절반에도 미치지 못합니다. 설교에서도 구약이 있음에도 불구하고 신약성경이 더 많이 사용됩니다. 헬라어와 신약성경 번역 기술을 갖춘 이들의 수보다 히브리어와 구약성경 훈련을 받은 번역가와 자문 위원들의 수가 더 적습니다. 놀랍도록 빠르게 변화하는 속에서도, 하나님의 말씀을 모든 언어로 접할 수 있도록 하기 위해 구약성경의 격차를 해소해야 할 필요성이 여전히 큽니다. 예수님의 모범을 따라 연합하여 기도합시다: 마태복음 9:37-38과 누가복음 10:2절 말씀처럼 추수의 주님께서 지구상에 아직 완전한 신구약 성경을 접해 보지 못한 7,200개 이상의 살아있는 언어들 중 90% 이상에 필요한 나머지 성경을 위해 추수하는 밭에 일꾼들을 보내달라고 함께 기도하기를 원합니다. 주님, 우리는 더 많은 성경 번역을 원합니다! 구약성경 번역을 주장하는 사람들이 더 많아지고, 신약은 출판되었지만 구약 부분이 빠진 2,600개 언어들의 공백을 채울 수 있는 자료들이 나오도록 기도해 주세요. 더 많은 사역단체들이 이러한 격차를 메우기 위해 구약성경 번역에 동등한 비중을 두기로 결정하도록 기도해 주세요. 더 많은 평신도 리더들, 비전가들, 자선가들, 목회자들, 선교사들. 중보기도자들이 그들의 모어에 있는 구약성경의 격차로 인해 지구상에 있는 어느 누구도 영적으로 가난해지는 일이 없도록 해야 할 필요성을 받아들이게 되도록, 문자, 구어, 혹은 수화 등 모든 언어권의 사람들이 성경 전체가 시급히 필요하다는 사실을 더 많이 이해할 수 있도록, 모든 언어로 성경 전체에 대한 접근을 가속화할 수 있는 교육과 방법들이 생겨나도록 기도해 주세요.

How to pray for an increase in Old Testament translation: Global

As we move into the future, there is a gap in which the Old Testament is inaccessible in many languages. Since 25% of the New Testament refers to or directly quotes the Old Testament, it is important to address this topic in prayer. Currently, there are less than half the number of whole Bible translations than New Testament translations. The Old Testament is used less than the New Testament for preaching, even where it is available. Fewer translators and consultants are trained in Hebrew and Old Testament than those with Greek and New Testament translation skills. Even with the remarkable acceleration, the need is still great to eliminate the Old Testament Gap so that the Word of God is accessible in every language. Let us unite in the model of Jesus to pray: Matthew 9:37-38 and Luke 10:2, asking together for the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest field for the remaining Scripture needed in more than 90% of the 7,200+ Living Languages spoken on earth those who still do not have access to a complete Bible. Lord, we want MORE! Please pray for MORE champions of Old Testament translation and for releasing resources to fill the gap for the 2,600 languages where the New Testament has been published, but the Old Testament portion is missing. Pray that MORE organizations decide to give equal weight to Old Testament translation to bridge the Old Testament gap. Pray for more marketplace leaders, visionaries, philanthropists, pastors, translators, missionaries, and intercessors to embrace the need to ensure that no one on the earth will be spiritually impoverished because of the Old Testament gap in their mother tongue. Pray for MORE understandingof the urgent need for the full Bible for people of all languages, whether written, oral, or signed. We pray for the education and tools to accelerate access to the full Bible in all languages.
