L/C 선교사: Z 언어 성경 번역, A 국

하나님의 은혜와 여러분의 기도로 현재 진행 중인 Z 언어 습득 중간 평가를 잘 마쳤음에 감사드립니다. A 국 입국 제한으로 계속해서 원격으로 언어조력자와 함께 하는 언어습득에 계속해서 진전을 이루고, 더 나은 번역 사역에 임할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 현재 A 국 소속 선교사들을 위한 컨퍼런스가 진행 중입니다. 5년만에 다시 만나 교제하며 사역을 논의할 수 있음에 감사드리며, 많은 격려와 새 힘을 얻는 시간 되도록 기도해 주세요. C 선교사의 어머니가 폐렴, 심장 판막 치료를 위해, 그리고 원인을 알 수 없는 복수 치료를 위해 입원 중입니다. 속히 완치되도록 기도해 주시고, 함께 하지 못하는 L/C 선교사에게 위로와 평안을 주시도록 기도해 주세요.

L & C: Z Bible translation, A country

We are thankful that we have completed the ongoing Z language acquisition midterm assessment by God's grace and your prayers. Please pray that we will continue to progress in our Z language acquisition, in spite of working remotely with the language resource person due to the restrictions on entry into Country A, and that we will be able to do a better job of translation ministry as a result. The annual conference for missionaries for A Country is currently underway. Giving thanks to God for the opportunity to meet again, after five years of skipping, to have fellowship and discuss ministry in person. Please pray that it will be a time of encouragement and renewal for all member missionaries. C's mother is hospitalized for pneumonia, heart valve treatment, and treatment for ascites of unknown cause. Pray for a speedy recovery and for God to give comfort and peace to L & C who are unable to be with her due to their ministries.

줌기도회 및 라이프게임

7/27일(목) 동부시간 저녁 9시 에 격월 줌 기도회를 갖습니다. 많은 분들의 참여를 기대합니다. 오는 8/15-17일에 대한기도원에서 라이프게임이 열립니다. 미주한인예수교장로회 교회 연합 청소년 수련회를 위해 열리는데, 필요한 스탭들이 1/2까지 채워졌습니다. 나머지 필요한 스탭들도 잘 채워지고, 준비 중인 이규준 한진숙 선교사를 위하여, 참가자들 모두 라이프게임을 통해 각자의 삶을 향한 하나님나라의 가치와 목적을 발견하게 되도록 기도해 주세요.

Korean Diaspora Engagement: Zoom prayer meeting & LiFEgame  

We will have a zoom prayer meeting 9 pm(EDT) on Thursday, July 27 and you are all invited! Korean Diaspora Engagement team is asked to serve LiFEgame for the rally of high school students from Korean American Presbyterian churches in the Greater Toronto Area, at Dae Han Christian Prayers Group, August 15-17. Thankfully, 1/2 of needed staff are recruited. Please pray for God’s provision for the rest of staff who will serve with the Game Masters, Gyoojun and Jinsook. Pray also that all the participants will have the Kingdom value and purpose for their lives.

새 프로젝트: 태국

올해 위클리프 태국의 세 가지 새로운 프로젝트가 성공적으로 시작될 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 소수민족 성경이야기 구연 프로젝트는 성경 이야기를 지역 사회와 공유함으로써 이웃 나라에 복음을 전하는 것이 그 목적입니다. 이 사역을 통해 태국 북동부에 복음이 잘 전파되도록 기도해 주세요. 읽기 및 쓰기 프로젝트는 태국 야이족의 성경 사용을 촉진하고 지역 사회의 문해력을 장려하는 것이 목표입니다. 하나님께서 성경이야기 구연 훈련을 받은 위클리프 태국 선교사들에게 복주셔서, 그들이 효과적으로 배우고 배운 것을 각자의 지역에 적용할 수 있게 해주시길 기도해주세요. 하나님께서 이웃 나라에 복음전도와 제자훈련, 성경이야기 구연 사역의 문을 열어주시도록 기도해주세요. 프로젝트 스탭들이 이 나라에서 안전하게 섬길 수 있도록, 그리고 많은 사람들에게 효과적으로 복음을 전할 수 있도록 기도해주세요.

New projects: Thailand

Pray with Wycliffe Thai Foundation for the successful launch of three new projects this year. The Ethnic Biblical Storytelling Project aims to reach a neighboring country by sharing Bible stories with the local communities. Please pray that the gospel will be spread through this ministry, especially in the Northeastern Thailand. The Reading and Writing Project aims to promote Scripture use among the Thai Yai people and encourage literacy in the community. May God bless Wycliffe Thai Foundation’s personnel who are trained in storytelling, and enable them to learn effectively and apply what they have learned to their respective localities. Pray that God opens doors for evangelism, discipleship and storytelling in the neighboring countries. Pray for safety as project staff serve in these nations and for many people to be reached effectively.

Join JAARS Aviation in giving thanks for the successful sale of an older Cessna 206 in Tanzania. The funds were used to purchase a newer 206 aircraft for translation work in Cameroon.

The Communications team is transitioning their photo library to a new system. Pray for a thorough understanding of the new platform and wisdom in its adoption. Pray for creative insight as JAARS Transportation helps translation teams overcome barriers that keep them from reaching communities hungry for God’s Word.

Pray that completed video and audio recordings of Scripture stories arrive where they are needed since many avenues of distribution may remain closed indefinitely.

커뮤니케이션 팀에서 새로운 데이터베이스 플랫폼으로 사진자료들을 옮기는 중입니다. 팀원들이 새 시스템을 잘 이해하고 잘 사용할 수 있는 지혜를 위해 기도해 주세요. 운송부서에도 지혜를 주셔서, 성경번역 팀들이 여러 장애들을 극복하고 말씀에 주린 언어공동체를 위해 사역하게 잘 돕도록 기도해 주세요. 

여러 가지 이유로 인해 이미 작업을 바친 오디오/비디오 성경 이야기들의 배포 경로가 막혀 있습니다. 언제 열릴지 모르는 배포 경로가 속히 열려지도록 기도해 주세요.
