July Virtual Prayer meeting: Ixtayutla Mixtec project in Mexico
Wycliffe Canada is continuing with a monthly online prayer meeting on the second Saturday of the month. It will start on July 10 at 10 am MDT. This month, we will be focusing on the Ixtayutla Mixtec project in Mexico. Is Bible translation still happening and still needed in Mexico, with 282 languages? Wycliffe members entered Mexico 85 years ago. The work continues. Come and hear what God is doing among the Ixtayutla Mixtec in Mexico. We would encourage you to invite anyone who you sense would have an interest to come to this prayer meeting. Please pray that many will participate in this prayer time, and see more active partnership developed as a result.
6월 온라인 기도회: 익스타유틀라 믹스텍 프로젝트, 멕시코
위클리프캐나다 월례 온라인 기도회가 7월 10일 토요일 오전 10시(중부시간)에 열립니다. 이번 달에는 멕시코의
익스타유트라 믹스텍 프로젝트를 위한 모임입니다. 멕시코에는 282개의 소수민족 언어가 있는데, 계속해서 성경 번역 사역이 진행 중이며, 또 아직도 성경번역 필요한 언어들이 더 있을까요? 85년 전에 위클리프 선교사들이 처음 이나라에 들어간 이후로 지금까지 이 사역은 계속되고 있습니다. 익스타유틀라 믹스텍 언어에서 하나님의 하시는 일들을 이번 모임에서 함께 듣고 나누기를 원합니다. 더 많은 캐나다의 교회와 개인들이 이 귀한 사역에 동참할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 기도회 참여를 원하는 분은 윤기태 선교사에게 미리 연락 주세요.

The Lees are thankful for the online-based ministries, such as the Kairos course, prayer meetings and RBBB, where they can serve together with other team members. Please pray that they will be able to join with the struggling Diaspora churches in creatively overcoming this pandemic situation and secularization of Christianity. Gyoojun would appreciate your prayers for the steadiness and growth of the Diaspora team, both Chinese and Korean, and God's wisdom for and pouring of His Holy Spirit on him as he strives to serve the team.

T Project: Shared by the project facilitator and advisor
Pray for M* (the translator) and his friend. Translating the Lives of the Prophets stories has left its mark, and he is seeking to know more. Ask the Lord to use His Word to speak to their hearts. Also ask Him to give me wisdom to know how best to support M (indirectly and from a distance). It was encouraged near the end of October when Pastor R shared with us what happened during his visit to the T community earlier in the month. We like to share it here because it not only gives us reason to celebrate what God is doing, but it also affirms our cautious yet strategic approach to engaging the T people with God’s Word.

T 프로젝트: 프로젝트 조력자와 자문위원의 공유
현지인 번역가 M*(보안명)과 그의 친구를 위해 기도해 주세요. 선지서에 나오는 선지자들의 삶을 번역하며 마음에 변화가 생겼고, 좀 더 많은 진리를 알고 싶어하는데, 주의 말씀이 직접 그들의 심령을 울리도록, 또한 프로젝트 조력자가 간접적으로 그리고 원거리에서 M을 가장 잘 지원할 수 있는 지혜 주시기를 기도해 주세요. 작년에 R 목사가 T 마을을 방문했을 때 있었던 은혜들을 함께 공유하므로 큰 격려가 되었습니다. 여러분과 공유하는 것은 하나님이 T 공동체에서 역사하시는 일을 기뻐할 뿐만 아니라 이 프로젝트를 통하여 T 사람 들이 하나님의 말씀을 더 많이 접하도록 하기 위한 사역팀의 신중하고도 전략적인 접근을 재삼 확인할 수 있었음에 감사를 드립니다.

Persevering in the midst of challenges: Chad
Please pray for the staff of the Niellim translation project (Kaibéné Félix and Dannkoula Sosthène) and the Tounia project (Ramadji Salomon). Currently they have no transport, nor access to solar or electrical energy for their work. They also have no water other than from ponds or rivers. Ask God to help them to find ways of continuing to work on translation, and to provide solutions to these problems.

니엘림 번역 프로젝트 사역자인 펠릭스와 소슈텐, 그리고 투니아 프로젝트의 살로몬을 위해 기도해 주세요. 현재 이들은 사역을 위한 교통 수단도 없고 태양열이나 전력을 이용할 수 없으며 개울이나 강 외에는 식수를 구할 수도 없습니다. 이러한 상황중에도 사역을 계속할 수 있는 방법을 찾고 이러한 문제들에 대한 해결책을 열어 주시도록 간절히 기도해 주세요.
Persevering in Bible translation: Papua New Guinea
Translation of the Sibe New Testament on Bougainville Island started in 1980, but the project encountered many setbacks. During the 10 years of civil unrest in Bougainville from 1988 to 1998, all the translated Scripture drafts were destroyed. Several key translation personnel died and limited resources hindered the translation work, sometimes causing it to stop. Praise God that last year, the first draft of the New Testament was finally finished. There is still a lot of work to be done before it can be published. Translator, Mark Sipaala continues to persevere, readying each book for printing in preparation for back translation of the draft for consultant checking. Pray for funds to be made available for printing of the drafts, and for strength and stamina for Mark. Ask the Lord for other Sibe speakers to come alongside to encourage and help him. Pray for the Lord to hasten the final completion of the Sibe New Testament so it can be distributed to the people.
인내로 성경 번역: 파푸아뉴기니
부겐빌 섬에서의 시베 신약 번역은 1980년에 시작되었지만 그동안 많은 어려움들을 겪었습니다. 1988년부터 1998 년까지 10 년간 이어진 민중 봉기로 그 동안 번역된 초벌본들이 모두 파기 되었습니다. 또한 몇몇 주요 번역가들이 죽고 제한된 자원으로 인해 사역이 중단되기도 했습니다. 이러한 어려움을 겪고 드디어 작년에 신약 초벌본이 완역되어 하나님을 찬송합니다. 출판까지는 아직 해야 할 일이 많습니다. 주 번역가 마크는 자문위원 점검을 위한 역번역을 위해 각 초벌본 인쇄 준비로 계속하여 애쓰고 있습니다. 초벌본 인쇄에 사용될 재정, 마크의 강건함과 체력을 위해, 다른 시베 언어권 일꾼들이 함께 와서 그를 돕고 격려할 수 있도록, 시베 신약이 속히 완성되어 배포될 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Pray for the JAARS Youth this week as they conduct an outreach program, including a VBS program developed by JAARS, at a West Virginia church. They will be ministering to children in the inner city.
