작년 말로, 빌과 노마진 선교사가 은퇴했습니다. 더 이상 프로젝트를 감독하지는 않지만, 퀘벡 지역, 나스카피 사역을 계속 지원하고 있습니다. 위클리프에서 43년간 섬긴 얀체위(비)츠 선교사 가족을 통해 영광을 드러내신 하나님의 모든 일들로 인하여 찬양을 올려드립니다. 나스카피 팀이 이사야서 초벌 번역을 진행하고, 민수기 역 번역 작업, 사사기, 룻기, 요나서의 오디오 녹음 작업, 또한 이번 달 에스더서 자문위원 점검을 완료하는 모든 사역을 위해 기도해 주세요. 나스카피 구약 성경의 다른 프로젝트들은 진척 단계가 각기 다르지만, 여전히 일부 점검 단계에서 추가 작업이 필요합니다: 신명기, 여호수아, 사무엘상·하, 열왕기상·하, 에스라, 느헤미야, 욥기, 아가, 다니엘, 요엘서. 또한 나스카피와 다른 원주민 공동체들의 모어로 된 하나님의 말씀에 대한 열린 마음과 지속적인 갈망이 계속되도록 기도해 주세요.

Indigenous initiative: Bill and Norma Jean Jancewicz
At the end of 2025, Bill and Normajean retired from Wycliffe and SIL. They are no longer supervising projects but continue to support Naskapi initiatives in Quebec language communities. Praise God for all He has done to bring glory to Himself through the Jancewicz family after 43 years of service with Wycliffe. Please pray for the Naskapi team as they progress with the first draft of Isaiah, work on back-translation for Numbers, record audio for Judges, Ruth, and Jonah, and recently completed consultant-checking the book of Esther this month. These other Naskapi Old Testament projects are at different stages of development but still require further work on some checking steps: Deuteronomy, Joshua, 1-2 Samuel, 1-2 Kings, Ezra, Nehemiah, Job, Song of Solomon, Daniel, and Joel. Also, pray for open hearts and a continued desire for the Word of God in the Naskapi and other First Nations communities' heart languages.
