이산 구전 성경 번역 프로젝트: 태국
프로젝트의 공식 착수 행사가 성공적으로 개최되었습니다. 작년 10월, 19개 주에서 모인 91명의 참가자를 인하여 하나님께 찬양을 드립니다. 함께 참여하는 동역 단체들의 적극적인 지원으로 행사는 원활하게 진행되었습니다. 교회가 제자 양성과 지역 주민들에게 복음을 전하는 데 전력하도록 하는 것이 이 프로젝트의 목적입니다. 지난해 태국 동북부 지역에서 실시된 언어 조사로 프로젝트가 시작되었는데, 조사 팀은 20개 지방을 방문해 250명의 목회자와 교회 성도들을 인터뷰했습니다. 언어 조사 과정에서 팀은 지역 사회 지도자들과의 관계를 쌓으며 필요들을 파악했습니다. 팀은 금년말까지 마가복음을 완역할 계획입니다. 올해 필요한 약 5만 불의 소요 재정을 위해, 팀이 한 마음과 하나님 나라의 비전으로 단합하도록, 그리고 이 프로젝트에 필요한 물리적, 그리고 인적 동원에 대한 모든 과정에서 하나님의 지혜 주시도록 기도해 주세요.
The Isan Oral Bible Translation Project: Thailand
The official launch event was held successfully and wonderfully. Praise God for the 91 participants from 19 provinces who met in October 2024. The partner organizations, working together, well supported the project. The objective of the project is to strengthen the local church in disciple-making and sharing the gospel with the people in the area. The project began with a language survey conducted in the Northeastern region of Thailand last year. The survey team traveled to 20 provinces and interviewed 250 local pastors and church members. During the language survey, the team also inquired about local community needs and established relationships with community leaders. The team plans to complete the translation of the Gospel of Mark by the end of 2025. Please pray for the budget for this year, which is about USD 50,000. Pray for the team—for unity with the same heart and a kingdom mindset. Please pray for the team as they determine a location, recruit staff, and set up an office to begin the Isan Oral Bible Translation project.
