최근 새로운 한인사역자와 중국인자원봉사자의 합류로 양쪽 팀 사역에 큰 활력을 얻게 됨에 감사드립니다. 협력과 팀웍이 잘 다져지도록 기도해 주세요.
다음과 같이 여러 가지 사역이 진행되고 예정 중인데, 주님 주시는 힘과 지혜로 사역들을 잘 감당하고, 이를 통해 주님의 선하신 뜻이 풍성하게 이뤄지도록 기도해 주세요.
10월 7일부터 우리는교회에서 시작된 매 주 목요일 카이로스 코스, 10월 21-24일 위클리프 국제 연대 아시아-태평양 지역 회의 참여, 10월 28-29일 열린문교회 방문팀과 미국 한인동원사역부와의 협력을 위한 잘스 방문 10월 31일 이글스필드교회 말씀 사역 등이 계속됩니다.

Gyoojun Lee & Jinsook Han: Diaspora Engagement, Canada
We are grateful for the recent addition of a new Korean missionary and a Chinese volunteer to the Diaspora Engagement team, which has greatly revitalized both teams' ministries. Please pray for strong cooperation and teamwork to be established.
Various ministries are underway and planned as follows. Please pray that we may faithfully carry out these ministries with the strength and wisdom the Lord provides, and that through them, His good and gracious will may be abundantly accomplished.
Starting October 7th, we will continue with the Kairos Course held every Thursday at We Church, participation in the Wycliffe International Solidarity Asia-Pacific Regional Conference from October 21st-24th, a visit to Zals on October 28th-29th for collaboration with the Open Door Church visiting team and the Korean American Mobilization Ministry, and the Word Ministry at Eaglesfield Church on October 31st.

보안지역임에도 책무와 목표를 하나씩 완료해 나가며 현지 소식이 업데이트 되고 있음에 감사드립니다!
학교에서 다중 언어 교육을 하도록 지원하는 현지 (성경번역 및 문해사역) 단체의 등록 갱신을 위해 정부 기관과의 서류 작업이 완료될 수 있도록 기도해 주셔서 감사합니다. 미비한 서류가 잘 마무리되고, 속히 승인받을 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.
또한 프로젝트 팀이 다중 언어 교육 교재를 검토, 수정 및 인쇄할 수 있도록, 기존 교사들을 위한 보충 훈련을 제공할 시간과 장소를 마련해 주시도록, 그리고 두스카니 알파벳 교재 개정 작업을 위해 기도해 주세요.

Silk Road Ascent (SRA): Bible translation in a sensitive area (Do not forward or post it anywhere online)

The reports keep coming in as the Bible translation teams check off tasks and goals, even in sensitive areas.
Thank you for praying that the documentation can be completed with one of the government agencies, as this is important for the registration renewal of the local organization that sponsors the school. Pray that the required approvals will be granted soon.
Pray that school curriculum materials will be reviewed, revised and printed for the use in the multi-lingual education school.
Pray for a time and place to provide refresher training for existing teachers, and for the review of the Duskani alphabet book. *pseudonym.

Streams of Prayer 위클리프 국제 연대 주간 기도제목

성경 번역 완료: 세네갈, 노르웨이
창세기, 출애굽기와 신약 성경 전체를 포함한 사피어 성경 번역을 마치게 하신 하나님께 찬양드립니다. 네덜란드에서 제작된 이 성경은 로마자로 된 책과 아랍 문자로 된 책 두 종류로 각각 인쇄되었습니다. 세네갈에 마지막 인쇄본이 도착하는 대로 성경 봉헌 및 기념 행사 날짜를 정할 예정입니다.
함께 기도해 주세요:
- 모든 인쇄본(소형과 대형, 로마자 및 아랍어 문자)이 세네갈에 무사히 도착하도록
- 샤피 공동체 내 축하 행사를 통하여 젊은이나 나이든 사람들이 모두 다 성경에 대해 호기심과 열정을 갖게 되도록
- 번역팀원 중 두 명이 주도하는 성경 활용 프로젝트를 통하여 성경읽기가 장려되고 사람들이 믿음을 갖게 되도록
- 사피 사람들 중 많은 사람들이 예수님의 친구가 되고 제자가 되도록
- 복음의 말씀이 샤피 공동체를 변화시켜 세네갈 전역에 그 변화의 물결을 일으키게 되도록 기도해 주세요.

Completed translation: Senegal, Norway
Praise God for the completion of the Saafi Scriptures, which includes Genesis, Exodus and the whole New Testament! The Bible books have been printed in the Netherlands in two different scripts, Roman and Ajami. As soon as the last copies arrive in Senegal, a date will be set for a dedication and celebration.
Please pray that:
- All printed versions, small and large, Roman and Ajami script, arrive safely in Senegal
- A celebration in the Saafi community will gather young and old and create curiosity and enthusiasm
- The Scripture use project led by two members of the translation team will succeed in promoting the Bible and leading people to faith
- Many from the Saafi people will become friends and followers of Jesus
- The gospel will transform Saafi communities, with ripple effects felt throughout Senegal.

다섯 개 새 성경번역 프로그램 시작: 남아공, 모잠비크, 앙골라
올해 위클리프남아공이 다섯 개 언어에서 새롭게 성경번역 프로그램을 시작하게 되었음을 하나님께 감사드립니다. 홀로, 키수쿠, 미토, 코티, 카압스 언어 공동체가 하나님의 말씀인 성경 번역에 참여하게 되어 하나님께 영광을 돌리며, 이 공동체들의 계속되는 노력들이 좋은 결과로 이어지도록 함께 기도해 주세요.
지난 6월에는 브라질 출신의 번역 자문위원 티모테오 선교사가 앙골라에서 3주 동안 올루한다, 올루실렌게, 그리고 이슌팀과 함께 사역하며 구전 성경 번역, 주해, 그리고 주요 용어들을 다루는 훈련을 인도했습니다. 그는 올루한다 프로젝트의 자문위원이지만 다른 두 팀도 지원할 수 있었고 그 후로 성경 번역에 상당한 진전을 이루었습니다.
사역자들과 번역 팀원들의 안전을 위해 그리고 사고와 질병으로부터 보호해 주시기를, 모잠비크가 태풍과 정치적 불안정에서 완전히 회복되도록 기도해 주세요.

Five new Bible translation programmes have started: South Africa, Mozambique, and Angola.
Thank God for the five new programmes launched this year by Wycliffe South Africa. The Holo, Kisuku, Meetto, Koti, and Kaaps languages are honoured to participate in translating God’s Word. Pray for the success of these ongoing efforts.
In June, Timoteo Bachmann, a translation consultant from Brazil, spent three weeks in Angola working with the Oluhanda, Olucilenge, and !Xun teams. Timoteo’s training covered oral Bible translation, exegesis, and key terms. Although he is only the consultant for the Oluhanda project, he was also able to assist the other two teams. They have made significant progress since then.
Pray for the safety of staff and translation teams from accidents and illnesses. Pray for Mozambique’s full recovery from cyclones and political unrest.

Base Operations
Please pray for the ongoing transitions at the JAARS Base in Waxhaw, North Carolina, USA, to improve our ability to train, deploy, and support the next generation of missionary pilots, mechanics, and technicians. New and restructured divisions, departments, and staff are present at every level. Pray that we will develop cohesive cross-functional teams with agile minds and willing hearts as we explore new collaboration methods.
