젊은 층을 위한 완수할 이야기(TUSfY): 우리는교회 단기선교팀 훈련, 토론토
우리는교회 (최경진 담임목사)에서 TUSfY가 진행되고 있습니다. 교회의 벨리즈 단기선교 사역 팀을 위한 훈련으로, 지난주에 조력자 훈련과 첫 두 세션을 잘 마쳤습니다. 이번 주말에 계속되는 세션 3~5 과정이 잘 진행되고, 단지 단기 사역뿐만 아니라, 선교적 교회가 되고 선교적 삶을 사는 성도들이 되는 첫걸음이 되도록 훈련과 단기 사역 및 이후 디브리핑과 후속 조처 등 모든 과정을 위해 기도해 주세요. 섬기는 이규준 / 한진숙 선교사와 교회의 조력자 팀을 위해서도 함께 기도해 주세요.

The Unfinished Story for Youth: We Are Church, Toronto
TUSfY is underway at We Are Church (Rev. Joshua Choi, Senior Pastor). This training is for their short-term missions team to Belize this summer, and we completed the facilitators' training and the first two sessions of the course last week. Please pray for the whole process of training sessions 3-5 this weekend, the short-term ministry in July, and the debriefing and follow-up afterward, that it will be the first step in becoming a missional church and saints living missional lives, not just a short-term ministry. Pray also for Gyoojun and Jinsook, as well as the team of church facilitators who serve together with them.

한인 및 중국인 자원봉사자 허입 수속: 디아스포라 협력팀
위클리프캐나다에는 자원봉사 제도가 있어, 정한 사례비가 없지만 사역에 필요한 재정을 후원교회나 개인 후원자를 통하여 모금하여 선교사와 동일한 사역을 감당할 수 있게 도와드립니다. 최근에 선교사 가족 중 한 분이 한인 디아스포라 협력팀과 함께 헌신하기로 결단하여 자원봉사자 허입 수속이 진행 중입니다. 순조롭게 수속이 진행되어 한인 사역팀에 큰 동역이 일어날 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 허입 수속을 주관하는 캘거리 본부의 자원봉사 부서의 담당자와 한인 디아스포라 사역팀의 원활한 협력으로 이번 허입 절차가 잘 진행되도록, 또한 곧 시작될 중국인 자원봉사자들을 위한 허입 과정도 잘 이뤄지게 기도해 주세요.

Korean & Chinese Volunteer Applications: Diaspora Engagement
Wycliffe Canada has a volunteer program and the willing individuals can serve as volunteers taking the same ministries as full-time missionaries do, though we do not offer salaries or fixed honoraria for volunteers; Wycliffe Canada can support their ministries through planned ministries budget or volunteers themselves can even raise their ministry funds through supporting churches or individual donors to cover the necessary budget. Recently, a member of a missionary family has committed to serving with the Korean Diaspora Engagement Team, and the applications process for volunteers is currently underway. Please pray that this process goes smoothly, fostering significant collaboration within the Korean Diaspora team. Additionally, please pray for seamless cooperation between the National Volunteer Department in Calgary, which oversees the application process, and the Korean Diaspora team, ensuring that this procedure is carried out successfully. Please pray that the same applications for a few Chinese volunteers, who will begin soon, will also proceed smoothly.

어린이들의 성경 번역 참여: 인도네시아
남부 자카르타 인도네시아 교회가 주일학교 어린이들을 위해 "나는 성경을 사랑합니다"라는 주제로 행사를 갖고 여러 교회에서 참가한 주일학교 교사들이 하나님께서는 모든 민족이 자신들의 모어로 전해지는 하나님을 알고 그 말씀의 진리 안에서 성장하기를 원하신다는 것을 가르쳤습니다. 주일학교 어린이들은 또한 성경 번역에 필요한 기간과 여전히 자신들의 모어로 하나님의 말씀을 접하지 못하는 전 세계 언어 공동체의 수에 대해서도 배웠습니다. 교사들은 어린이들에게 성경 번역의 단계들과 도전 과제들에 대해서도 가르쳤습니다. 어린이들과 주일학교 교사들이 말씀의 진리를 더욱 깊이 이해하고, 자신들이 받은 기쁜 소식을 잘 나눌 수 있도록, 인도네시아 기독교 총회가 하나님의 선교에 더욱 적극적으로 동참하도록 기도해 주세요.

Engaging Children for Bible Translation: Indonesia
The South Jakarta Indonesian Christian Church organized an event for Sunday school children themed "I Love Bible." Sunday school teachers from various churches taught that God desires every people group to know Him and grow in the truth of His Word through a language that resonates with their hearts. The Sunday school children also learned about the time required to translate the Scriptures and the number of language communities worldwide that still lack access to God’s Word in their own language. Teachers informed children about the stages and challenges of Bible translation. Please pray that the children and Sunday school teachers will increasingly appreciate the truth of God’s Word and share the joyful news they receive. Pray for the Indonesian Christian Church Synod to become more involved in God's mission.

교회 지도자 훈련 및 멘토링: 페루
동부 아푸리맥 지역 초교파 사역 단체인 아이디아의 조력자들은 가정 셀 모임과 예배 중 성경 공부를 통해 제자 양육 활동을 지속적으로 강화하고 있습니다. 지속적인 훈련을 통해 현재 교회가 부족한 인근 지역에 새로운 셀 모임을 설립할 헌신적인 아푸리맥 케추아어 리더 양성을 목표로 합니다. 올해는 31개 교회에서 총 54명의 새로운 리더가 세 가지 영역에서 훈련을 받았습니다. 첫 번째 모듈인 '기독교 신앙 이해'는 리더들이 셀 그룹에서 가르칠 수 있는 내용으로 구성되었습니다. 또한, 남부 파스타자 지역에서는 두 번째 모듈인 '영적 삶 속에서 성장하기'에 초점을 둔 제자 양육 과정이 개발되어, 교인들이 청소년 멘토링, 결혼 상담 그리고 교회 봉사에 대한 내용으로 훈련을 받았습니다. 참가한 20명의 리더들은 남부 파스타자 제자 양육 과정에 참가했는데 다양한 지역의 가정 셀 그룹과, 교회에서 제자 양육을 위해 훈련받는 리더들로 인하여 하나님께 감사드립니다.

Training and Mentoring Church Leaders: Peru
Facilitators of AIDIA, Asociación Interdenominacional para el Desarrollo Integral de Apurímac, continue to strengthen discipleship efforts through home cell groups and by teaching Bible lessons during church services. An ongoing training approach aims to develop committed Apurímac Quechua leaders who will establish new groups in neighboring communities currently lacking churches. This year, a total of 54 new leaders from 31 churches were trained in three different areas. The first module, ‘Understanding the Christian Faith,’ was taught to the leaders, who could then teach it in their cell groups. Additionally, a discipleship process was developed in the South Pastaza area, focusing on the second module, ‘Growing in My Spiritual Life.’ Furthermore, instruction in youth mentoring, marriage counseling, and church service support was provided to church members. Twenty leaders participated in the South Pastaza discipleship process. Thank God for the leaders being trained for discipleship in the home cell groups and churches across various regions.

Land Operations
In many parts of Africa, 98% of roads remain unpaved, and the rainy season extends for half the year. Despite these challenges, the most effective way for translators to gather input, test drafts, assist churches, and initiate literacy classes is by visiting local communities. That’s why JAARS facilitates our partners by supplying them with motorbikes, 4WD vehicles, safety equipment, and training in driving and maintenance. Please pray for the 4WD vehicles and motorcycles we provide to our mission organization partners worldwide, as well as for the operational and maintenance training of their personnel.
