디아스포라 협력 팀 자원봉사 사역: 캐나다
한인 디아스포라 팀에 새롭게 자원봉사 사역자가 허입되었음에 감사드립니다! 여러 지역에서 다양한 사역으로 섬기는 많은 자원봉사자들을 통하여 성경번역 사역에 귀한 협력이 계속되고 있습니다. 지난 주일에도 캘거리 기도팀과 함께 보안지역에서 사역하시는 사역자들이 함께 교제하며 기도하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 이번 주부터는 중국인 디아스포라 협력팀의 자원봉사자로 섬길 분들의 허입 절차가 시작됩니다. 모든 것이 순조롭게 진행되고 훈련도 잘 이뤄지도록 기도해 주세요. 자원봉사자들의 허입 과정과 사역을 코디하는 윤기태 선교사에게도 하나님께서 힘과 지혜와 영력을 더하시도록 기도해 주세요.

Volunteers' ministries with the Diaspora Engagement Team: Canada
We are thankful to announce the addition of new volunteer workers to our Korean Diaspora team! We are blessed to have so many volunteers serving in various ministries in different parts of the world. This past Sunday, volunteers of the Calgary Prayer Team hosted a picnic fellowship for those Wycliffe Canada members serving in a sensitive area. This week, the application process for those who will serve as volunteers on the Chinese Diaspora Team will be underway. Pray that everything will go smoothly and that the training will go well. Also, pray that God would give Daniel Yoon, who is coordinating the application process and ministry of the volunteers, His strength, wisdom, and spiritual power.

성경 기반 사역 자료의 초안 작업이 계속 진행 중입니다. 한 성경 인물에 대한 생애 이야기 초안이 완성되었습니다. 이 작업에 대한 점검과 편집 과정이 순조롭도록, 그리고 다음 이야기 초안 작업도 순조롭도록 기도해 주세요. 온라인으로 만나고 사역하는 데 방해가 되는 인터넷 장애가 발생하지 않고 소통이 잘 유지되도록 기도해 주세요. 현지인 프로젝트 리더의 3살 된 조카가 심각한 혈소판 감소증으로 고통받고 있습니다. 이 질병에 대한 최상의 치료법과 완치를 위해 계속 기도해 주세요. 다음의 4가지 향후 사역 목표를 위해 기도해 주세요: (1) '선한 사마리아인의 비유' 초벌 번역을 이번 가을 중에 번역 점검합니다. (2) 이미 완성된 5개의 시험용 브룸책의 배포 작업을 추가로 평가하는 일과, 앞으로 매년 최소 5개의 새로운 블룸 기반 책자를 제작할 예정입니다. (3) 학교 커리큘럼 자료를 수정하고 개선합니다. (4) 매년 최소 두 번 정도, 현지 정부와 교육청 관계자, 학교, 그리고 지역 행사에서 다중언어 교육의 방법론을 함께 공유합니다. *보안명

Silk Road Ascent (SRA): Bible translation in a sensitive area (Do not forward or post it anywhere online)

Work continues drafting Scripture-based material. The first draft of a character’s bio story was completed. Please pray as the work is reviewed and edited. Pray for work on the next story as well. Pray for good internet connections and protection from obstacles that affect the ability to meet and work online. Thank you for praying for the local project leader's three-year-old niece, who has a serious disease that causes a low blood platelet count. Continue to pray for the best treatments and a cure for this disease. Pray for these upcoming goals: (1) Revise the parable of The Good Samaritan in preparation for possible checking this fall. (2) Further evaluate five existing trial Bloom books for distribution, and draft at least five new Bloom books per year moving forward. (3) Revise and improve school curriculum materials. (4) Find at least two opportunities per year to share MLE methodology with local government and education officials, schools, and community events as well. *pseudonym.

번역의 진전을 축하: 에티오피아
위클리프 에티오피아는 자이, 에노르, 모르, 인데가그네, 동 누에르, 카라, 차라, 쿠웨구, 나라, 사나아니, 수리카치포, 베일, 과마, 세제 등 34개 이상의 소수 민족 언어로 성경을 번역했습니다. 성경을 통해 이 언어 공동체 사람들의 삶이 변화되기를 기도해 주세요. 6월 15일에 봉헌된 자이 신약성경을 인해 하나님께 영광을 돌립니다. 또한 완역되어 출판을 앞둔 에노르, 무르시, 차라 신약성경을 인하여 또한 하나님께 감사드립니다. 문해력 향상과 성경 활용의 노력(트라우마 치유, 예수 영화, 전도, 어린이 사역 등)을 위해 기도해 주시고 에티오피아의 평화와 더 필요한 번역 사역가들을 위해, 그리고 사역을 방해하는 일부 언어 공동체 내의 분쟁이 종식되도록 기도해 주세요.

Celebrating progress in translation: Ethiopia
Wycliffe Ethiopia has translated Scripture into more than 34 languages, including Zay, Enor, Mohr, Indegagne, East Nuer, Kara, Tsaara, Kuwegu, Nara, Sana’ani, Suri Kachipo, Bale, Guama, and Seze. Pray that the Scriptures will transform peoples’ lives in these communities. Praise God for the Zay New Testament, which was dedicated on June 15. Thank him also for the Enor, Mursi, and Tsaara New Testaments that have been completed and are ready for publication. Pray for literacy and Scripture engagement efforts (including trauma healing, the JESUS film, evangelism, and children’s ministry). Pray for peace in Ethiopia, needed translators, and an end to conflicts within some language communities that hinder the work.

위클리프 싱가폴은 아시아 지역 하룸 어 번역 프로젝트와 협력하고 있습니다. 신약 성경은 2024년에 완성되었으며, 현재 구약 성경 번역 번역이 진행되고 있습니다. 이를 위해 함께 다음과 같이 기도해 주세요; (1) 출애굽기와 민수기를 개정 작업 중인 번역팀에게 지혜를 주시고, (2) 하룸 공동체의 신자들이 성경 참여 활동을 통해 믿음 안에서 잘 성장하도록, (3) 더 많은 하룸 사람들이 복음을 듣고 하룸 번역팀과 함께 성경을 공부할 수 있는 열린 마음을 주시도록, (4) 프로젝트 책임자의 집 도서관에 책을 읽으러 오는 모든 마을 아이들의 마음에 하나님의 말씀이 심겨지고 자라도록.

Old Testament translation: Asia
Wycliffe Singapore partners with the Harum translation project in Asia. The New Testament was completed in 2024, and the team is translating the Old Testament. Please pray: (1) For wisdom for the translation team as they revise Exodus and Numbers. (2) For Harum believers to grow in their faith through Scripture engagement activities. (3) That more Harum people will be open to hearing the gospel and to studying the Bible together with the Harum team. (4) That God’s Word will be planted and grow in the heart of every child who comes to read books in the library at the project managers' home.

Sea Operations
In parts of Africa, South America, and the Pacific, boats are often the best—or sometimes the only—means of reaching remote areas. However, the journey can be harrowing: boarding rundown ships that frequently lack safety equipment and navigating rough waters far from any hope of help if something goes wrong. JAARS provides coastal communities with specialized vessels, including outfitting, delivery, and repair, along with logistical and financial support for boat programs, safety equipment, signaling devices, emergency satellite beacons, and water safety training. Please pray that JAARS’s sea operation team may serve as the best support teamwork.
