교회와 동역자 여러분의 계속되는 협력을 통해 윤 선교사가 멤버 및 자원봉사 허입 과정을 섬기고, 기도 소식지 등 동원 사역에 힘쓰고 있음에 감사드립니다! 윤선교사가 코디하는 8월 28일부터 10 주간 진행될 한국성경번역선교회 (GBT) 스탭들을 위한 영어 교습 프로그램을 위해 기도해 주세요. 다문화 팀 환경에서 사역하는 GBT 사역자들에게 영어로 소통하는 능력은 필수적일 뿐만 아니라, 더 풍성하게 팀 사역에 기여하고 축복할 수 있게 돕는 방편입니다. 이 의미 있는 사역을 윤 선교사가 잘 준비하도록, 섬기는 캐나다의 자원봉사자들과 은퇴 선교사들에게도 기쁨과 감사의 나눔의 시간이 되도록 기도해 주세요. 또한 10월에 있게 될 잘스센터 선교 훈련 프로그램도 준비 중입니다. 참가자 동원과 준비가 잘 이뤄지도록 기도해 주세요.

Daniel (/Helen) Yoon: Engagement & Application Advisor for Korean Diaspora
The Yoons appreciate the ongoing support from churches and friends for their ministries, including the member and volunteer application process and the Diaspora Engagement team's efforts, such as editing Weekly Prayer Bulletins and contributing articles to Wycliffe Canada’s Korean website. Please pray for Daniel as he coordinates the English training program for GBT staff members, which will last for 10 weeks starting on August 28. For GBT staff working in a multicultural team environment, the ability to communicate in English is not only essential but also a way to contribute more deeply to team ministry and bless the team. Please pray that it may also be a time of joy and gratitude for the Canadian volunteers and retired Wycliffe missionaries as they serve as tutors. Additionally, preparations are underway for the JAARS Vision Trip in October. Please pray that the mobilization of participants and preparations will go smoothly.

박요섭 / 조선향 선교사: 파푸아뉴기니 카니누와 종족 성경 번역
8월 6일(수요일)부터 박 선교사 부부가 카니누와 모어 번역자들과 함께 3주 동안 알로타우에서 사역하고 있습니다. 비행기와 배를 통한 험난한 여정들이었지만, 하나님의 은혜로 박 선교사 부부와 현지 번역자 레비, 윌포드가 각각 안전하게 도착했음에 감사드립니다!
카니누와 번역팀은 로마서 1장부터 4장까지를 번역하고, 이후 11월에 자문 위원 검토를 받을 예정인 여덟 권의 서신서 (디모데 전후서, 디도서, 빌레몬서, 야고보서, 유다서, 베드로 전후서)를 함께 검토하고 수정할 예정입니다. 함께 공부하고 번역하는 가운데 하나님의 말씀을 바르게 이해할 수 있는 지혜 주셔서 본문의 의미를 충실히 전달하는 번역이 되도록 기도해 주세요.

Joseph & Joyce Park: Kaninuwa Bible Translation, Papua New Guinea (PNG)
Starting Wednesday, August 6, the Parks will be in Alotau for three weeks, to work with the Kaninuwa translators. We are thankful that Lebi, Wilford, and the Parks arrived safely at the Alotau Center in spite of their challenging journey by planes and boats.
The Kaninuwa translation team is working on translating Romans chapters 1–4. They will also review and revise eight epistles (1 & 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, James, Jude, 1 & 2 Peter), which are scheduled for consultant checking in November. Please pray that as the team studies and translates together, God would grant them wisdom to understand His Word clearly and faithfully convey its meaning.

동부 라와 언어로 된 마가복음이 인쇄본과 앱 형식으로 동시에 출판되었음에 하나님께 감사와 찬양을 올려 드립니다! 현지를 떠난 그렉과 로지 선교사 부부는 본국 뉴질랜드에서 원격으로 라와 번역팀과 사역하며, 2026년까지 야고보서와 베드로 전서를 번역하고 출판하는 작업을 돕게 됩니다. 라와 번역팀이 야고보서와 베드로 전서를 계속 잘 번역할 수 있도록 또한, 그렉과 로지 선교사도 이 사역 전환기에 잘 적응해 나가도록 기도해 주세요.

Eastern Lawa Project: Bible translation in a sensitive area of Asia (no forwarding or online posting)
We give our praise and thanks to God that the Gospel of Mark is available both in print and app formats. Please pray that the Lawa church will grow through their ongoing reading and sharing of the good news in their heart language. Greg and Rosie, who have left the field, will be working remotely from New Zealand with the Lawa translation team to complete the translation of James and 1 Peter by the end of 2026. Please pray for God's wisdom for the translation team as they continue their work and for a smooth transition for Greg and Rosie back to their country. *pseudonym

방글라데시 성경번역협회는 훈련과 동원 활동의 풍성한 시기를 맞이하고 있습니다. 올해 진행되는 다양한 프로그램에서 사역자들과 자원봉사자들이 단합하여 지혜롭게, 그리고 기쁨으로 잘 섬길 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.
8월에 방글라데시 선교를 위한 효과적인 실천 방안을 논의하는 2일간의 선교 자문회의가 열립니다. 하나님께서 택하신 참가자들이 등록하고 모두에게 의미 있는 시간이 되도록 기도해 주세요. 또한차세대 선교 지도자를 양성하기 위한 6개월간의 인턴십 프로그램이 시작됩니다. 참가자들이 영적으로 그리고 실제적으로 성장할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요

Many training opportunities: Bangladesh
Connections Bangladesh is engaging in a fruitful season of training and mobilization. Pray for staff and volunteers to serve well with unity, wisdom, and joy during this year’s offerings, which include:
A two-day Mission Consultation in August focusing on effective practices for missions in Bangladesh. Pray that God will bring the participants he has chosen and that it will be a meaningful time for all. A six-month Internship Program is also being launched in August to develop next-generation missional leaders. Pray that those who participate will grow both spiritually and practically.

언어 및 문화 습득 훈련: 독일, 스위스, 오스트리아
7월 14일부터 8월 23일까지, 위클리프 독일은 위클리프 독일, 위클리프 스위스, 또는 위클리프 오스트리아와 함께 사역하거나 허입 과정에 있는 학생들을 대상으로 언어 및 문화 습득 훈련을 주관합니다.
이는 사역자들과 학생 모두에게 흥미진진하지만 동시에 매우 힘든 시간이기도 합니다. 사역자들은 사역 일과에서 시간을 내어 1주, 2주, 또는 4주 동안 강의를 맡아 섬깁니다.

Language and Culture Acquisition Training: Germany, Switzerland, Austria
From 14 July to 23 August, Wycliffe Germany hosts language and culture acquisition courses for students interested in serving with or in the application process for Wycliffe Germany, Wycliffe Switzerland, or Wycliffe Austria. This is an exciting but also very demanding time for staff and students alike. The staff take time away from their regular assignments to teach for one, two, or four weeks at a time.
Praise God for the interest and engagement of the students and teachers, and for the facilities to host these courses at the Wycliffe Germany centre.
Pray for a successor to lead the summer programme and for guidance on developing this small set of training courses in future years.

Jungle Aviation And Relay Service (JAARS) 잘스 글로벌 기술 지원 센터

항공 선교
지난 75년 이상 동안 잘스는 지구상에서 가장 멀리 떨어진 오지를 대상으로 사역하는 항공 선교의 선두 주자입니다. 아직도 하나님의 말씀을 듣지 못하는 많은 소수 민족이 가장 접근하기 어려운 곳에 거주하기 때문입니다. 끝없이 펼쳐진 열대우림과 험준한 산악지대, 예측할 수 없는 날씨, 지원할 시스템이 거의 없는, 수작업으로 만든 활주로를 상상해 보십시오. 이러한 환경에서 안전하게 비행하는 것은 지구상에서 가장 힘든 일 중 하나이며, 하나님께서 잘스를 부르신 사명의 핵심입니다. 잘스의 항공기 유지 보수, 전문적인 훈련이 필요한 조종사들과 정비사들, 항공전자 기술자들, 그리고 자격을 갖춘 사역자들을 잘 동원할 수 있도록, 또한 전 세계 항공 선교 협력 단체들과 더욱 효과적으로 협업할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Air Operations
For nearly 75 years, JAARS has been a leader in mission aviation, serving in the most remote and rugged places on Earth. Many language groups still lack access to God’s Word and are among the most difficult to reach. Picture endless miles of rainforest and rugged mountains—with unpredictable weather, no support system, and airstrips carved out by hand. Flying safely in these environments is one of the most challenging jobs on earth, and it’s at the core of what God has called JAARS to do. Please pray for the maintenance needs of our fleet of aircraft, as well as for the pilots, mechanics, and avionics technicians who require our specialized training, and for the acquisition of qualified staff. Pray for effective collaboration with our mission aviation partners worldwide.
