Korean Diaspora Engagement  한인 디아스포라 협력

L and C 선교사: 성경번역, 아시아 보안지역 / 본국 사역(안식년) / 동역관계 개발

L and C 선교사는 지난번 캘거리 방문시 새로 후원교회가 된 교회를 다시 방문하여 선교적 교회를 위한 세미나를 인도하기로 하였습니다. 잘 준비하여 성경적 교회의 존재 이유를 함께 나누는 시간이 되도록 기도해 주세요. 오는 8월에는 캐나다, 미국 및 태국에서 사역 중인 Z 언어 번역 팀원들이 캘거리에서 모여 팀 사역을 위한 전략들과 각 팀의 역할들을 재정비하는 일들을 함께 협의할 예정입니다. 이 모임을 준비하는 사역자들에게 지혜와 은혜 주시도록 기도해 주세요. 아울러 L and C 선교사가 본국 사역 중 필요를 늘 채워주시는 하나님께 더욱 의탁하도록 기도해 주세요.

L and C: Bible translation in a sensitive area of Asia / home assignment / Partnership Development

L and C missionaries will revisit the newly partnering church from their last trip to Calgary to lead a missional church seminar. Please pray for a well-prepared time to share why we should become a missional church based on the biblical perspective. In August, members of the Z language translation teams serving Canada, the United States, and Thailand will gather in Calgary to discuss team ministry strategies and realign each team's roles. Pray for wisdom and grace for those preparing for this gathering. Also, pray that L and C will continuously depend on God, who always provides for their needs, during their home assignment.

Kingdom Friendship 킹덤 프렌드십

L 프로젝트: 성경번역, 동남 아시아 보안지역 (수신자 이외에 배포하거나 온라인에 게시하지 말아주세요) 

지난봄에 싱가포르 교회의 단기 선교팀이 이곳을 방문했는데, 하나님께서 L 사람들 가운데서 일하시는 현장을 보고 감동을 받았음에 감사와 찬송을 올려드립니다. 이로 연결이 되어 프로젝트 사역자들이 6 월중 싱가포르 방문 시 그 교회에서 말씀을 나누도록 초청을 받았습니다. 프로젝트 팀은 하나님의 은혜로 지난번 현지 문화 축제 기간 동안 문해사역 홍보 부스를 통해 좋은 반응을 얻었습니다. 마을 사람들의 수입 창출을 위해 버섯 재배 워크숍과 숯 만들기 워크숍을 추가로 운영할 예정입니다. 이 사업이 성공적으로 진행되어 L 지역 사람들의 소득 보충에 도움이 될 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 마가복음이 곧 완역되어 출판될 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 번역 자문 위원의 점검은 대부분 마쳤고, 오디오 업데이트가 순조롭게 진행되어 마가복음의 인쇄본과 디지털 버전이 함께 출시될 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 2011년 이후 처음으로 사역용 차량을 새로 교체하여 하나님께 감사드립니다.

L project: Bible translation in a sensitive area in Asia

Praise the Lord. A short-term team from a Singapore church visited last spring, and the team was touched by what God is doing amongst the L people. Project facilitators were also invited to speak at their church in June when they were in Singapore. During the annual cultural festival, the project team completed its literacy booth by God's grace. The project team will run another mushroom-growing workshop and a charcoal-making workshop to generate income. Please pray that this will be successful and help the local L people supplement their incomes. Pray that Mark's gospel will be finished and published soon. The team has done most of the consultant checking. Pray that the audio updates smoothly and that the team can publish print and digital versions of Mark’s gospel. Praise God that the team purchased a newer model vehicle recently since 2011.

지혜롭게 자원 사용하기: 스위스

스위스 위클리프 프로젝트 부서는 재정적으로 지원해 줄 수 있는 프로젝트의 수가 지원 되는 재정보다 많기 때문에 지혜롭게 재정을 관리할 수 있도록 기도해 주시기를 원합니다. 하나님께서 관대하게 재정을 후원할 기부자들을 보내 주시고, 팀이 협력하여 도움의 손길이 필요함을 알릴 수 있는 창의적인 방법을 찾을 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 또한 잠재적 기부자들을 개발해 내는 지혜 주시기를 기도해 주세요 하나님의 뜻에 따라 누구를 믿고 어떻게 재정 자원을 사용할 것인지를 결정할 시간을 가질 수 있도록 하나님께서 도와주시기를 기도해 주세요.

Using resources with wisdom: Switzerland

Pray for wisdom for the projects department of Wycliffe Switzerland, as they have many more projects they would like to support than money to fund them. Ask God to provide generous donors and help the team find creative ways to make this great need known. Pray for wisdom for potential donors. Ask God to help them make time to decide whom to trust and what to do with their money in accordance with his will.

장학금 지원: 태국

에스아이엘의 동남아시아 내륙 팀이 아시아 여러 지역에서 온 파얍 대학 언어학 석사과정 학생들에게 지난 30여 년 동안 장학금으로 재정 지원을 할 수 있었음을 인하여 하나님을 찬양합니다. 이 학생들 중 다수가 자국에 돌아가서도 번역 및 문해 사역으로 계속해서 섬기고 있습니다. 재정 지원 외에도 고국에서 멀리 떨어져 있는 학생들에게 격려와 실질적인 도움들을 제공합니다. 이 지역 전역에서 현재 또는 앞으로 섬기게 될 파얍 재학생들과 졸업생에게 하나님의 지속적인 인도와 영감 주시기를 기도해 주세요. 장학금 후원으로 함께 동역하기를 원하시면 아래 링크를 통해 더 많은 정보를 찾을 수 있습니다.

Scholarship assistance: Thailand

Praise God for approximately 30 years of financial assistance offered by SIL's Mainland Southeast Asia team to Payap University linguistic students from around Asia. Many of these students have gone on to support translation and literacy efforts in their own countries. In addition to financial support, the SIL team provides encouragement and practical help while the students are away from their home countries. Pray for God’s continued guidance and inspiration for Payap students and graduates who are (or will be) serving throughout the region. JAARS Prayerline

Skill, knowledge, and experience are crucial elements that can make all the difference when approaching missions in a challenging new setting. Especially when your role is to solve critical logistical problems for workers already there. JAARS provides focused, specialized training that is vital in many different areas for those preparing for work in Bible translation and related ministries. Please pray that God will mightily use our instructors to provide practical, helpful training for those preparing for missions work.
