Albert and Martha (Isaac, Moses): Director of Wycliffe Taiwan and Regional Manager of a sensitive area, respectively (home assignment)

The Rukai audio Bible recording project, which began earlier this year with a pre-exploration field trip, will officially kick off on April 30th. Recording is already underway as of this week. Please pray for God's wisdom and grace for Albert, as he is leading the project, to keep this project on track over the next two months. Martha is taking a break from her part-time theology study program until the end of August. She will be preparing to return to work in a sensitive area in July. Please pray for wisdom in organizing well and for a smooth transition back to ministry. Pray that their two sons, Isaac and Moses, would be healthy, have wisdom and intelligence in their studies, and most importantly, that they would experience God and have a faith that grows in the Word.

알버트 / 마르다 (이삭과 모세) 선교사: 위클리프 대만, 보안 지역 책임자 (본국 사역)

금년 초에 사전 탐사 여행으로 준비하며 착수하였던, 대만의 원주민 부족의 하나인, 루카이족 오디오성경 녹음 프로젝트가 4월 30일 정식으로 시작합니다. 이번 주부터 녹음은 이미 진행중입니다. 앞으로 두 달간 순조롭게 진행되도록 전체 프로젝트를 인도하는 알버트 선교사에게 하나님의 지혜와 은혜 주시기를 기도해 주세요.마르다 선교사는 파트 타임으로 공부하던 신학 과정을 8월말까지 잠시 쉬면서, 6월까지의 안식년을 마치고 다시 보안 지역 사역으로 복귀할 준비를 하는데, 지혜롭게 잘 정리도 하고 사역 복귀에 아무 어려움이 없도록 기도해 주세요. 두 아들, 이삭과 모세가 건강하게 지혜와 총명으로 학업을 잘 감당하도록, 무엇보다 하나님을 경험하며 말씀위에서 자라는 믿음을 갖게 되도록 기도해 주세요.

World Pilot’s Day

The World Pilots' Day is celebrated every year on 26 April. This Day recognizes the many contributions of pilots who safely connect millions of passengers around the world every year. JAARS-trained pilots serving with SIL, YAJASI and other aviation partners in remote areas of the world are reducing barriers and easing burdens to aid in the work of proclaiming the gospel to the whole creation. 세계 조종사의 날

Seeking people to fit roles: UK, Ireland
As the People team in Wycliffe UK & Ireland consider the changing personnel needs of Bible translation around the world, pray that they will have the wisdom to discern how to recruit, equip and assign their staff in ways that serve the Bible translation task well. They want to be able to find people for roles, rather than roles for people. Pray, too, that as the traditional structures for supporting workers in their assignments change, the team would know what they need to do differently to ensure that Wycliffe UK & Ireland staff thrive wherever they serve.

사역에 맞는 적임자 찾기: 영국, 아일랜드

위클리프 영국과 아일랜드의 인력지원 팀은 전 세계적 성경 번역의 변화하는 인력 수요를 고려하여 성경 번역 사역을 잘 감당할 수 있도록 인력 동원과 훈련, 파송하는 방법들을 잘 분별할 수 있는 지혜 주시도록 기도해 주세요. 그들은 사람을 역할에 맞추는 것이 아니라 역할을 위한 적임자를 찾게 되기를 바랍니다. 또한 임무가 바뀌게 될때마다 사역자들을 지원하는 전통적인 구조가 변화함에 따라 위클리프 영국과 아일랜드 사역자들이 그들이 섬기는 곳에서 잘 감당할 수 있도록 다르게 해야 할 일들은 무엇인지를 알게 해 주시도록 기도해 주세요. 

Cross-cultural students: Taiwan
Praise God for the Memorandum of Understanding for cross-cultural training that was signed between Wycliffe Taiwan and Chinese Evangelical Seminary in December 2022. Six students will be trained this year for cross-cultural ministry. Thank God for opening doors for Wycliffe Taiwan to provide cultural and language learning services in a mission field. Pray for the Lord’s guidance as the team prepares to train the first group of students this year. May God guide the students also, as they prepare to serve in the Bible translation movement.

타문화 훈련을 받는 학생들: 대만

작년 12월 위클리프 대만과 중국 복음주의 신학교가 타문화 훈련을 위한 양해 각서를 체결한 것을 인하여 하나님을 찬양합니다. 올해 6명의 학생들이 타문화 사역을 위해 훈련을 받게 됩니다 위클리프 대만이 선교지에서 문화와 언어 훈련 프로그램을 제공할 수 있도록 문을 열어주신 하나님께 감사드립니다. 이 팀이 올해 첫 번째 학생 그룹을 훈련하기 위해 준비를 하고 있는데, 주께서 이들을 선히 인도해 주시기를, 또한 성경 번역 사역에 동참할 준비를 하는 학생들에게도 하나님의 인도하심이 있도록 기도해 주세요.
