예수님의 이름으로 기도하기
북부 와미(*가명) 재봉 센터 중 한 곳에서 이전에는 진심으로 기도를 해 본 적이 없었던 프로그램 참여 여성들이 재봉, 문해 교육, 성경이야기 구연 훈련 등을 받으며 예수님에 대해 듣게 되었습니다. 그리고 어떤 형식적인 의식으로서가 아니라 하나님께 인격적인 기도를 드릴 수 있다는 것을 배우게 되었습니다. 보고 들으면서 점점 일상에서 하나님께 감사하며 간구하는 기도를 배우게 되었고, 이제는 예수님의 이름으로 기도하게 되는 중요한 변화가 있었습니다. 기도가운데 평안을 느끼고, 예수님이 함께 하심을 고백하는 은혜가 있었습니다.
At one of the Northern Warmi* sewing centres, the women who participated in the program had never before prayed from their heart. Many of them came from backgrounds where prayer was just a ritual, or they had never spoken to God personally. During their sewing, literacy and storytelling training, they heard stories about Jesus and learned that they could pray personal prayers to God.
Slowly, these women began to learn how to pray. At first, they were shy and did not know what to say. But as they listened and watched, they learned to pray simple prayers, asking God for help in their daily struggles and thanking Him for His blessings.
The most important change is that now, these women pray in the name of Jesus. One woman shared, “Before, I did not know that I could pray like this. Now, I feel peace when I pray, and I know Jesus is with me.

- Pray that the Duskani* translation project will see school curriculum materials reviewed, revised, and printed for use in the multi-lingual education school.
- for a time and place to provide refresher training for existing teachers.
- for the review of the Duskani alphabet book.
- for the project leader who is suffering from kidney stones.
- Thank you for praying that documentation can be completed with one of the government agencies, as this is important to the registration renewal of the local organization that sponsors the school. Continue to pray as the documentation is still incomplete. Pray that the needed approvals will be given soon.
