북부 태국어(라나) 문해 및 성경 활용: 동남아시아
200명 이상의 학생들이 북부 태국어 성경으로 진행된 라나 행사에 참여했습니다. 100명이 넘는 학생들이 라나 행사에서 자발적으로 요한복음 쪽성경을 받아갔습니다. 사역팀은 7개국 참가자들과 함께 토속 예술 워크숍에 참여했고, 교실 및 클럽 모임용 고품질 교재를 제작합니다. 사역팀은 학생들이 이해하기 쉬운 성경 구절을 선택하는데, 최근에는 창세기부터 모세와 홍해 이야기까지 구약 성경을 가르쳤습니다. 학생들은 성경 이야기들을 다시 전하는 데 열의를 보이고 있습니다. 하나님께서 사역팀이 섬기는 학교 근처 지역 사회 내 한 주택으로 모임장소를 이전할 수 있는 길을 열어주셨고, 지역 사회와 깊은 유대 관계를 잘 형성해 가고 있습니다. 프로젝트 리더, 오이 사역자가 프라이 유치원 교사들을 위한 교사 연수 워크숍을 잘 준비할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 또한 팀이 새로 문을 연 라나 센터에서 지역 주민들을 대상으로 3일간의 집중 성인 교육을 잘 진행할 수 있도록, 자자의 인턴십이 곧 마무리됩니다. 그녀는 인턴십 종료 후 함께 섬길 사역 단체를 위해 주님의 인도하심을 구하고 있습니다. 그녀가 다음 단계를 잘 결정할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

저는 다양한 것들을 배우고 있으며, 각 활동이 제게는 매우 소중했습니다. 특히 기억에 남는 경험은 파파오 지역 라나 어린이 클럽에서 학생들에게 읽기와 쓰기를 가르칠 기회가 있었습니다. 처음 아이들을 가르칠 때, 그들은 다소 수줍어하며 자신을 표현하는 데 주저했습니다. 여러 번 함께 공부한 후, 라나 팀과 아이들 사이에 점점 더 깊은 유대감이 느껴졌습니다. 시간이 지남에 따라 아이들의 행동이 개선되는 것을 보았습니다—자신을 표현하려는 용기와 다양한 활동에 참여하려는 의지가 더욱 고무적으로 변해갔습니다. 아이들의 부모들도 협조해 주셨고, 아이들을 기쁘게 맞이하며 두 팔 벌려 데려다 주셨습니다. 어린이 클럽 여름 프로그램을 마친 후, 라나 팀은 팀원, 참가한 아이들, 그리고 부모님들을 위한 네트워킹 활동을 마련해 서로를 알아가고 더 깊은 관계를 형성할 기회를 제공했습니다. 이전하여 새로 문을 연 라나 센터가 많은 사람들에게 축복이 되어 하나님의 이야기를 배우고 예수 그리스도를 따르는 길을 걷게 되기를 소망합니다. Northern Thai (Lanna) Literacy and Scripture Use: Southeast Asia
Over 200 students have participated in Lanna events that use the Northern Thai Bible. Well over 100 students have voluntarily taken copies of the book of John at Lanna events. The team participated in an Ethno-Arts workshop with participants from seven countries. They produce high-quality materials for classroom and club meetings. The team chooses Bible verses that students can easily understand. Recently, they taught Old Testament stories from Creation to the story of Moses and the Red Sea. The students are excited to retell the stories. God opened the door for the team to relocate their workplace to a house in the community, near the schools they serve. They are building strong relationships with the community there. Please pray for Oi, the project leader, to prepare a Teacher Training workshop for Prai preschool teachers. Pray also for the team to conduct an intensive three-day adult class for community members at the new Lanna Center. JaJa’s internship will conclude soon. She is seeking guidance from the Lord for a group to serve with after she finishes. Pray for her as she determines her next steps.

I have been learning many different things, and each activity has been very valuable. One memorable experience was the opportunity to teach reading and writing to students in the Pa Pao community, Lanna Kids Club. When I first had the chance to teach the children, they were a bit shy and hesitant to express themselves. After studying together many times, I felt a growing bond between the Lanna team and the children. Over time, I noticed the children's behaviour improving—their courage to express themselves and their willingness to participate in various activities became more encouraging. The children's parents also cooperated, welcoming their children and dropping them off with open arms. After completing the Kids Club summer session, the Lanna Team organized a networking activity for the team, the children, and their parents, giving them the opportunity to get to know one another and build stronger relationships. I hope the new Lanna Centre will be a blessing and bring many people to learn about God's story and follow Jesus Christ. (Intern Tar)
