이규준/한진숙 선교사: 디아스포라 협력, 캐나다, 20 년 근속 감사
이 선교사 부부가 전임 동원사역자로 섬긴 지 20년이 되어, 다른 여러 근속 사역자들과 함께 감사의 시간을 가졌습니다. 무엇보다 하나님의 은혜와 동역해 주신 교회와 여러 분들께 감사드립니다! 60년 근속에 은퇴하는 거장에 비하면 작은 이정표이겠지만, 헌신된 많은 동료들과 함께 더 힘을 내어 성경없는 민족들을 위한 사역에 열정을 다하게 기도해 주세요. 한인사무국에서는 9월부터 다음과 같은 사역들을 준비하며 참가자들과 협력 교회를 초대하고 있습니다.
최근 중국인 자원봉사자의 협력으로 새롭게 중국인 동원사역에 힘을 쏟게 하시니 감사드립니다. 이번 원주민 성경번역 사역자들을 위한 웍샵에중국인 교회 지도자들도 함께 할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 이 선교사가 어제 토요일과 오늘 주일 동안 워싱턴디씨 열린문교회에서 '완수할 이야기' 프로그램을 잘 섬기게 하심에 감사합니다. 북미 한인교회 영어권에도 좋은 동원 운동의 계기가 되도록 기도해 주세요.

Gyoojun Lee & Jinsook Han: 20 years of service, Diaspora Engagement, Canada,
Gyoojun & Jinsook have served as full-time mobilizers for 20 years, and Wycliffe Canada held a ceremony celebrating many other long-serving workers. Above all, we thank God's grace and the churches and individuals who have partnered with us! Though their milestone may seem small compared to the retirement of a veteran with 60 years of service, please pray that Gyoojun & Jinsook, alongside many dedicated colleagues, will renew their passion in working for the Bible-less peoples.
We are especially thankful that, through the recent teamwork with a new Chinese volunteer, we are now able to focus on resuming partnership works with Chinese churches in Canada. Please pray that Chinese church leaders may also participate in this upcoming workshop for First Nations translators. We are thankful for the successful service during the ‘The Unfinished Story’ program at The Open Door Church in the Washington, D.C. area, on Saturday and today, Sunday. Please pray that this may also become a good opportunity for the ignition of a mobilization movement within the English-speaking Korean churches in North America.

박요섭 / 조선향 선교사: 파푸아뉴기니 카니누와 민족 성경 번역
번역 중인 디모데전후서, 디도서, 빌레몬서, 야고보서, 베드로전후서, 그리고 유다서까지 여덟 권의 서신서의 번역 점검을 오는 11월에 받을 예정입니다. 신실한 두 모어 번역가들과 함께 단계별로 하나님이 주시는 지혜와 은혜로 잘 감당하도록 기도해 주세요. 앞으로 약 1년 동안은 박선교사 부부가 한국에 머무르면서 현지를 오가며 사역하기로 허락받았습니다. 조선향 선교사가 한국에 계신 모친을 돌보는 일과 사역을 병행하기를 원함입니다. 새로운 사역 형태를 잘 감당하도록 중보해 주세요. 번역은 마쳤지만 최종 점검이 남은 여섯 권의 책들(마태복음, 요한복음, 요한 1, 2, 3서, 요한계시록)에 대한 최종 점검 과정을 통해 읽는 이나 듣는 이가 모두 함께 말씀의 은혜를 깨닫는 시간이 되도록 기도해 주세요.

Joseph & Joyce Park: Kaninuwa Bible Translation, Papua New Guinea (PNG)
The translation of the eight epistles—1 and 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, James, 1 and 2 Peter, and Jude—currently in progress will be reviewed this coming November. Please pray that, together with two faithful Kaninuwa translators, we may diligently complete each step with the wisdom and grace God provides. The Parks have been granted permission to stay in Korea for about a year, traveling back and forth to PNG to carry out their ministry. Please intercede for the Parks as they embrace this new form of ministry. Although the translation is complete, please pray that the final village review process for the remaining six books (Matthew, John, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, and Revelation) will be an opportunity for both readers and listeners alike to grasp the grace of the Word.

크리 원주민 성경 번역 운동: 캘거리 워크숍
캐나다 원주민 성경 번역 사역자들을 위한 웍샵이 9월 21일부터 26일까지 앨버타주 캘거리에서 열립니다. 지난 10 년 간 온타리오주 구엘프에서 원주민 성경 번역팀의 역량 강화와 훈련을 위해 웍샵을 개최해 왔는데, 올해는 캐나다 북서부 지역 원주민 공동체들이 자체 번역 프로젝트를 막 시작하는 점을 고려하여 모임 장소를 캘거리 지역으로 옮겼습니다. 이번 워크숍의 효과적인 계획 수립과 은혜로운 진행을 위해, 그리고 나스카피, 아니시니니이모윈, 블랙풋, 콰왁왈라 등 많은 원주민 언어공동체에게 하나님의 말씀에 대한 지속적인 갈망과 열린 마음을 주시고, 섬기는 사역자들에게 지혜와 은혜가 넘치도록 기도해 주세요.

Cree initiative: Calgary workshop
The First Nations Translator Workshop will take place from September 21 to 26 in Calgary, Alberta. For the past 10 years, we have held these workshops in Guelph, Ontario, to build capacity and support mother-tongue Bible translation teams. This year, we have moved the workshop west to accommodate the First Nations language groups in that region, who are just beginning their own translation projects. Pray for effective planning and the successful execution of the First Nations Translator Workshop in Calgary. Pray also for wisdom and grace for the staff, open hearts, and a sustained hunger for the Word of God in Naskapi, Anishininiimowin, Blackfoot, Kwak'wala, and many other First Nations languages.

리더십 훈련과 교회 개척: 페루
페루 성경 번역 협회 아이디아가 4월 3일부터 5일까지 아반카이에서 35명의 케추아어 지도자들을 위해 '기독교 신앙 이해'라는 주제로 제자 훈련 과정을 열었습니다. 이 훈련 과정의 목적은 지도자들이 가정에서 가르치고 새로운 교회 개척을 지원하도록 준비시키는 것입니다. 약 42개의 가정 성경 공부 모임이 진행되고 있으며, 최근 최소 3개의 새로운 모임이 생겨났습니다. 이들 중에는 이미 교회가 있는 공동체도 있고, 아직 교회가 없는 공동체도 있습니다. 케추아어로 성경 공부하는 방법을 가르치도록 훈련받고 있는 이 지도자들과 각 성경 공부 모임 및 교회를 위해 기도해 주세요. 많은 케추아 사람들이 믿음이 더욱 강건해지고 지역사회에서 다른 사람들에게도 하나님의 말씀을 전할 수 있도록, 그리고 성경이 전파됨으로 더 많은 교회가 세워지도록 기도해 주세요.

Leadership training and church planting: Peru
From April 3-5, AIDIA held a discipleship training session on ‘Understanding the Christian Faith’ in Abancay for 35 Quechua leaders. The goal is to prepare them to teach in homes and support the founding of new churches. AIDIA’s facilitators assist the leaders during the training. Approximately 42 home Bible study groups are meeting, and at least three new groups have been formed recently. Some communities already have churches, while others do not yet. Please pray for the leaders being trained to teach people how to study the Bible in Quechua, as well as for each study group and the local churches. Pray that many Quechua people will be strengthened in their faith and able to share God’s Word with others in their communities. Pray that more churches will be established through the spread of the Scriptures.

Discerning Strategies: France
Wycliffe France continues to reorganize its activities and internal procedures for greater efficiency. Leaders of Wycliffe France plan to implement effective strategies in the coming year to successfully relaunch activities and enable Wycliffe France to achieve financial self-sufficiency, allowing them to continue their translation work. Please pray for wisdom, as it is not always easy to discern and agree on the best strategies.

항공 선교
지난 75년 이상 동안 잘스는 지구상에서 가장 멀리 떨어진 오지를 대상으로 사역하는 항공 선교의 선두 주자입니다. 아직도 하나님의 말씀을 듣지 못하는 많은 소수 민족이 가장 접근하기 어려운 곳에 거주하기 때문입니다. 끝없이 펼쳐진 열대우림과 험준한 산악지대, 예측할 수 없는 날씨, 지원할 시스템이 거의 없는, 수작업으로 만든 활주로를 상상해 보십시오. 이러한 환경에서 안전하게 비행하는 것은 지구상에서 가장 힘든 일 중 하나이며, 하나님께서 잘스를 부르신 사명의 핵심입니다. 잘스의 항공기 유지 보수, 전문적인 훈련이 필요한 조종사들과 정비사들, 항공전자 기술자들, 그리고 자격을 갖춘 사역자들을 잘 동원할 수 있도록, 또한 전 세계 항공 선교 협력 단체들과 더욱 효과적으로 협업할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Air Operations
For nearly 75 years, JAARS has been a leader in mission aviation, serving in the most remote and rugged places on Earth. Many language groups still lack access to God’s Word and are among the most difficult to reach. Picture endless miles of rainforest and rugged mountains—with unpredictable weather, no support system, and airstrips carved out by hand. Flying safely in these environments is one of the most challenging jobs on earth, and it’s at the core of what God has called JAARS to do. Please pray for the maintenance needs of our fleet of aircraft, as well as for the pilots, mechanics, and avionics technicians who require our specialized training, and for the acquisition of qualified staff. Pray for effective collaboration with our mission aviation partners worldwide.
