지난 두 주 간 토론토에 있는 우리는교회 (최경진 담임목사)에서 TUSfY(젊은 층을 위한 완수할 이야기)코스가 잘 진행되었음에 감사드립니다! 복음의 복을 받아 누린 성도와 교회로서 모든 민족을 제자 삼는 귀한 복에 동참하도록 부름 받았음을 확신하게 된 모든 참가자를 통해 교회의 선교적 정체성과 사명이 더욱 공고해지며, 이번 7월 벨리즈 단기선교 사역까지 건강하게 잘 이뤄질 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 이 선교사는 6월 28~29일 (토-주일)에 에드먼튼한인침례교회 (권성범 담임목사)의 초대로 선교 특강과 주일 설교 말씀을 전하고 지역의 목회자들과 교제하는 시간을 갖습니다. 잘 준비되고 풍성한 만남과 교제 시간이 되도록 기도해 주세요.

Gyoojun & Jinsook Lee: Director of Diaspora Engagement, Canada
We are grateful that TUSfY has been going well at We Are Church (Rev. Kyungjin Joshua Choi, senior pastor) for the past two weekends! Please pray that the missionary identity and mission of the church will be strengthened through all participants who have been convinced, through the training, that as a church, we are called to share in the precious blessing of making disciples of all nations. May they serve well in Belize during their short-term mission this July. By the invitation of Edmonton Korean Baptist Church (Rev. Abraham Kwon, senior pastor), Gyoojun will deliver a missions lecture on Saturday and a sermon at the church's Sunday worship service on June 28-29. Pray for a well-prepared and enriching time of meeting and fellowship.

한인 및 중국인 자원봉사자 허입 수속: 디아스포라 협력팀
위클리프캐나다에는 자원봉사 제도가 있어, 정한 사례비가 없지만 사역에 필요한 재정을 후원교회나 개인 후원자를 통하여 모금하여 선교사와 동일한 사역을 감당할 수 있게 도와드립니다. 최근에 선교사 가족 중 한 분이 한인 디아스포라 협력팀과 함께 헌신하기로 결단하여 자원봉사자 허입 절차가 진행 중입니다. 순조롭게 수속이 진행되어 한인 사역팀에 큰 동역이 일어날 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 허입 절차를 주관하는 캘거리 본부의 자원봉사 부서의 담당자와 한인 디아스포라 사역팀의 원활한 협력으로 이번 허입 절차가 잘 진행되도록, 또한 곧 시작될 중국인 자원봉사자들을 위한 허입 과정도 잘 이뤄지게 기도해 주세요.

Korean & Chinese Volunteer Applications: Diaspora Engagement
Wycliffe Canada offers a volunteer program that enables willing individuals to serve alongside full-time missionaries in the same ministries, although we do not provide salaries or fixed honoraria for volunteers. Wycliffe Canada can support its ministries through a planned ministry budget, or volunteers can also raise ministry funds by supporting churches or individual donors to cover the necessary budget. Recently, a member of a missionary family has committed to serving with the Korean Diaspora Engagement Team, and the application process for volunteers is currently underway. Please pray that this process goes smoothly, fostering significant collaboration within the Korean Diaspora team. Additionally, please pray for seamless cooperation between the National Volunteer Department in Calgary, which oversees the application process, and the Korean Diaspora team, ensuring that this procedure is carried out successfully. Please pray that the same applications for a few Chinese volunteers, who will begin soon, will also proceed smoothly.

크리 원주민 성경 번역 운동: 나스카피 프로젝트
나스카피 개발이 퀘벡 국립도서관 및 문서기록관을 통해 정부 지원금을 지원받기 위한 약정을 체결한 것을 인하여 하나님을 찬양합니다. 이 약정은 몬트리올에서 열린 나스카피 워크숍에서 체결되었습니다. 나스카피 팀은 이 정부 보조금을 활용해 작년 말에 이미 완성된 나스카피 사전 개정판을 인쇄할 예정입니다. 이번 정부 지원에 대해 하나님께 감사드립니다. 또한 퀘벡 국립도서관 및 문서기록관은 나스카피 개발과 협력하여 진행 중인 나스카피 언어 및 문화 발전 프로젝트를 위하여 계속 지원할 약정도 받았습니다. 빌 선교사는 6월 초부터 카와와치까맠에서 나스카피 모어 사용자들을 섬기며 나스카피 언어 교실을 인도하고 있습니다. 장거리 여행 중인 빌 과 노르마 진 선교사 위에 하나님의 자비와 돌보심을 있도록, 사사기, 룻기, 요나서의 마을 점검, 그리고 에스더서의 자문위원 점검이 은혜 가운데 잘 진행되도록, 마리안과 나스카피 개발팀을 위한 지속적인 역량 강화와 멘토링 사역을 위하여, 나스카피 공동체에 하나님의 말씀을 향한 열린 마음과 지속적인 갈망이 계속 이어지도록 기도해 주세요.

Cree initiative: Naskapi Project
Praise the Lord that the NDC (Naskapi Development Cooperation) has signed a contract to receive government funding through the National Library and Archives of Quebec (BAnQ) during a workshop in Montreal. The Naskapi team will use this funding to print the new edition of the Naskapi Lexicon (Dictionary), which was completed by the end of last year. We are to support future Naskapi language and cultureClass. Please pray and ask God for His mercy and care for both Bill and Norma Jean during their travels. Pray that the ongoing community-checking of the books of Judges, Ruth, and Jonah, along with the consultant-checking of the book of Esther, will continue. Pray for ongoing capacity-building and training for Marianne and her team. Pray also for open hearts and a continued hunger for the Word of God in the Naskapi community.

현지 재정모금 및 성경번역 홍보전략: 카메룬
카메룬성경번역협회는 향후 2년 동안 10개의 새로운 성경 번역 프로그램을 시작하고 10권의 신약성경을 봉헌하기 위해 지역 사회로부터의 기부를 모으기 위해 “10-10-2 캠페인”을 시작했습니다. 5월 9일 야운데 국립박물관에서 열린 출범 행사에 이어, 150명이 넘는 사람들이 바멘다에 모여 북서부 지역에서의 캠페인 출범을 축하했습니다. 이 행사는 많은 사람들의 적극적인 참여와 감동적인 간증, 그리고 하나님의 말씀을 통해 더 많은 사람들의 삶이 변화되기를 바라는 하나 된 비전을 보여주었습니다. 야운데와 마찬가지로, 참석한 모든 사람들이 작정 헌금으로 이 운동을 후원하기로 약속했습니다. 이를 통해 카메룬성경번역협회 사역자들과 교회, 그리고 더 많은 대중에게 미치는 영향력이 점점 확장되고 있음에 감사드립니다. 헌금을 약정한 사람들이 계속해서 신실하게 후원해 줄 수 있도록, 그리고 곧 있을 두알라와 마루아에서 진행될 다음 캠페인 행사의 성공을 위해 기도해 주세요.

Local funding and translation promotion strategy: Cameroon
CABTAL recently launched the 10-10-2 campaign to gather local contributions for starting 10 new Bible translation programs and dedicating 10 New Testaments over the next 2 years. Following the launch event at the National Museum in Yaoundé on May 9, over 150 people gathered in Bamenda for the campaign’s launch in the Northwest region. The event featured strong participation, powerful testimonies, and a united vision to see more lives transformed through the Word of God. Similar to Yaoundé, everyone present committed to supporting the campaign financially. Thank God for the growing impact of this initiative among CABTAL staff, churches, and the broader public in Cameroon. Pray that those who have made commitments will remain faithful in their support. Additionally, pray for the success of the upcoming campaign events in Douala and Maroua.

젊은이들의 참여: 싱가포르
지난 5월 17일, 싱가포르위클리프가 한 교회에서 진행한 "일일선교여행" 선교 체험 프로그램을 인하여 하나님을 찬송합니다. 교회 청소년부를 포함하여 100명이 넘는 참가자들이 선교 현장에서의 사역이 어떤 것인지 체험하기 위해 참석했습니다. 교회와 협력할 기회를 주신 하나님께 감사드리며, 앞으로도 지역 교회들을 지원하기 위해 "일일선교여행" 프로그램을 더욱 발전시킬 수 있는 지혜를 위해, 참가자 중에서 앞으로 성경 번역 사역에 헌신을 결단하도록 기도해 주세요. 싱가포르위클리프에서 미디어 및 정보 통신 분야를 섬기고 있는 두 명의 현지 대학교 학부생을 위해 하나님께 감사드립니다. 그중 한 청년이 5월 25일부터 31일까지 태국에서 열린 선교 체험 프로그램인 캠프 위클리프에 참석했습니다. 좋은 도전의 기회를 경험하고 있는 이 귀한 청년들을 위하여 기도해 주세요.

Involving young people: Singapore
Praise the “Journey” missions exposure program that Wycliffe Singapore conducted at a church on May 17. Over 100 participants, including the church youth group, attended to learn what it is like to serve in a missions context. Thank God for the opportunity to partner with a church and pray for ways to enhance further the “Journey" to support churches in the coming years. Pray for God to call some of those participants into the work of translation. Thank God for two undergraduates from local universities who are serving with Wycliffe Singapore in Media and IT. One of them attended Camp Wycliffe in Thailand from May 25 to May 31, a missions exposure program. Pray for them during this time of learning.

아프리카, 남미, 태평양 일부 지역에서는 배를 타고 외딴 마을로 가는 것이 가장 좋은 방법이며 때로는 유일한 방법이기도 합니다. 하지만 안전 장비를 잘 갖추지 못한 낡은 배에 사람들이 많이 타게 되고, 혹 문제가 발생하여도 도움을 받을 수 없는 험난한 물 위에서의 운항 길이 될 수 있습니다. 잘스는 해안 지역 소수민족 공동체들을 위하여 장비, 배송 및 수리를 포함한 특수 선박, 해양 프로그램을 위한 물류 및 재정지원, 안전 장비, 신호장치, 비상 인공위성 항해표지 설치 및 수상 안전 교육 등 다양한 사역으로 섬기고 있습니다. 잘스의 해상 사역팀이 최고의 지원 팀사역을 잘 감당할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Sea Operations
In parts of Africa, South America, and the Pacific, boats are often the best—or sometimes the only—means of reaching remote areas. However, the journey can be harrowing: boarding rundown ships that frequently lack safety equipment and navigating rough waters far from any hope of help if something goes wrong. JAARS provides coastal communities with specialized vessels, including outfitting, delivery, and repair, along with logistical and financial support for boat programs, safety equipment, signaling devices, emergency satellite beacons, and water safety training. Please pray that JAARS’s sea operation team may serve as the best support teamwork.
