이규준/한진숙 선교사: 캐나다, 디아스포라 협력
지난 2 주 동안 두 차례에 걸쳐 브랜치스 미니스트리 단기 선교 팀을 위한 세계관 강의를 잘 섬겼음에 감사드리고, 새롭게 시작하는 중국인 사역 자원봉사자 오리엔테이션이 잘 진행되고 있음에 감사드립니다.
이번 주에는 9/7일(주일) 해밀턴연합교회 주일 설교 준비와, 9/13일(토)에 열리는 워싱턴 DC 근교 열린문장로교회 영어회중의 '완수할 이야기' 사역을 위한 조력자팀 훈련을 섬기게 됩니다. 지혜 주셔서 코칭과 멘토링이 잘 이뤄지고, 한인교회 영어권에 왕성한 동원 운동의 열매가 나타나도록 기도해 주세요.
이 밖에도 여러 가지 사역을 위해 함께 기도해 주세요.

Gyoojun & Jinsook Lee: Diaspora Engagement, Canada
We are grateful for Gyoojun having well served served the Christian worldview lectures for the Branches Ministry's short-term mission team over the past two weeks, and for the smooth progress of the orientation for a newly starting Chinese ministry volunteer.
This week, Gyoojun will prepare for the sermon at Hamilton Korean United Church on the coming Sunday, and train the facilitation team for 'The Unfinished Story' which will be held at English Congregation of Open Door Presbyterian Church near to Washington D. C. next Saturday, September 13th. Please pray for him for God's wisdom so that the coaching and mentoring goes well, and that a fruitful mobilization movement among the English-speaking Korean church communities will rise vigorously as a result.

한인사무국 하반기 사역 안내 및 기도 제목
한인사무국에서는 이번 9월부터 다음과 같은 사역들을 계획하고 참가자들과 교회를 초대하고 있습니다.
캐나다 원주민 성경번역 사역자들을 위한 웍샵이 한인사무국에서는 이번 9월부터 다음과 같은 사역들을 계획하고 참가자들과 교회를 초대하고 있습니다.
10/3~11/27일 매 주 목요일과, 10/7~11/25일 매 주 화요일에 우리는교회와 영락교회에서 각각 카이로스 코스가 열립니다. 토론토지역 모든 성도들께 열려 있습니다. 많은 분들이 참가하여 선교적 삶의 여정을 시작하도록 기도해 주세요.
10/28~11/1일에 성경번역 기술지원 센터인 잘스센터에서 선교훈련을 엽니다. 많은 분들이 동참하여 성경번역 선교의 요긴한 사역들과 인생 후반전 사역 및 팀 사역에 대해 잘 훈련받도록 기도해 주세요.

Korean Diaspora team’s Events planned in the Fall season
The Korean Diaspora Engagement team is scheduled to launch the following ministries beginning this September and invites believers and churches to participate.
The First Nations Mother Tongue Translators Workshop will be held in Calgary from September 22 to 26, and partners are invited to attend the opening sessions, which will begin at lunchtime on Thursday, September 25. Please pray that many partners and churches from the AB area will join us.
Two Kairos courses in the GTA will be held, one every Tuesday from October 7 to November 25 and the other every Thursday from October 3 to November 27, at Young Nak Presbyterian Church and We Are Church, respectively. These courses are open to all believers in the Toronto area. Please pray that many will participate and begin their missional life journey.
JAARS Vision Trip: From October 28 to November 1, a mission training and vision trip will take place at JAARS, a Bible translation and technical support center. Please pray that many will participate, receive thorough training in the essential ministries of Bible translation, finish well in the second half of their lives, and fulfill God's purposes for them.

남부 태국어 성경 구연 프로젝트: 태국
하나님께서 남부 태국어로 된 성경이야기 구연 사역을 통해 이 지역에 생몀의 빛을 비춰주심에 하나님을 찬양드리며, 계속해서 새로운 생명들을 세워주시길 소망합니다. 감사하게도 새로운 팀원들 가운데 효과적인 구전 성경 이야기꾼이 점점 더 늘어나고 있습니다. 구전 성경 이야기가 내장된 태양광 오디오 플레이어는 이 지역에서 예수님의 이야기를 전파하는 효과적인 도구입니다.

Southern Thai Oral Bible Storying Project: Thailand
Praise the Lord for shining His light on this region through the ministry of Oral Bible Storytelling in the southern Thai language, and may He continue to bring forth new life. Thankfully, more people are becoming effective Oral Bible Storytellers among the new team members. The solar-powered audio player, pre-loaded with Bible stories, is an effective tool for sharing the story of Jesus in this region.
Please continue to pray for the strength and good health of the team members and their families.

차세대 선교사 훈련과 멘토링: 브라질
복음주의 선교언어학회 학생들이 다양한 문화권에 복음을 효과적으로 전파할 수 있도록 '언어학 및 선교학' 과정을 제공하고 있습니다. 이 포괄적인 과정을 통해 예수 그리스도의 메시지를 충실하고 적절하게 타문화권에 전할 수 있는 효과적인 성경 번역 사역자가 되는 도구들이 제공됩니다. 지난 40 년 넘게 이 과정을 통해 성경번역사역자와 교육자들이 성경을 이해하고 해석할 수 있도록 양성되어 왔습니다.
타문화권 사역을 위한 차세대 사역자들을 가르치고 멘토링할 수 있는 교수들을 위해, 그리고 새로 시작하는 학생들과 훈련 기간 동안 그들의 건강과 재정 지원을 위해서도 함께 기도해 주세요.

Training and mentoring a new generation of missionaries: Brazil
ALEM offers the Course of Linguistics and Missiology (CLM) to prepare students to communicate the gospel across different cultures effectively. Its comprehensive program provides tools for becoming an effective Bible translation worker who can faithfully and appropriately present the message of Jesus Christ. The CLM has trained Bible translators and educators to understand and interpret the Bible for over 40 years.
Pray for new students and for teachers who can both teach and mentor the next generation of cross-cultural workers. Pray also for financial support and good health for students during their training.

사전 훈련: 인도네시아
2025년 초, 인도네시아 여러 지역에서 온 26명의 참가자들이 파송 전 사전 훈련에 참여했습니다. 이 훈련은 사역자들에게 사역에서 필요한 기술을 가르침과 동시에 성경 번역과 타문화권 사역에 대한 동기를 강화하고 헌신을 더욱 굳게 하기 위해 고안된 단기 집중 과정입니다. 이 4 주간의 훈련은 예비 성경번역 프로젝트 조력자와 타 단체 출신 동역 자들에게 중요한 첫걸음이었습니다. 다음과 같이 기도해 주세요.
- 하나님께서 각 참가자의 부르심을 확증하시고, 문화적 도전 속에서도 섬김에 굳건한 마음과 신실함을 허락하시도록
- 하나님께서 그들의 삶의 여정과 사역을 육체적, 정신적, 영적으로 보호하시며 한 걸음 한 걸음 인도해 주시도록
- 참가자들이 팀원, 지역 사회, 사역 파트너들과 건강한 관계를 형성하여 사랑과 연합 가운데 하나님의 일이 이루어지도록.
- 그리고 이들의 삶과 섬김을 통해 하나님의 말씀이 사람들의 모어로 알려지고 받아들여져서 수많은 생명을 변화시키도록.

Pre-field Training: Indonesia
In early 2025, 26 participants from various regions of Indonesia participated in a pre-field training—an intensive course designed to equip workers with skills, while also strengthening their motivation and deepening their commitment to serving in Bible translation and cross-cultural work. The four-week training was a vital first step for prospective facilitators and ministry partners. Pray that:
- God would confirm each participant's calling, granting them steadfast hearts and faithfulness to serve in the face of cross-cultural challenges.
- God will protect their life journeys and ministries—physically, mentally, and spiritually—as well as guide each step. Participants will cultivate healthy relationships with their teams, local communities, and ministry partners, allowing
- God's work is to be done in love and unity.
- Through their lives and service, God’s Word will become known, accepted, and transform many lives in people’s heart languages.

Training
Skill, knowledge, and experience are crucial elements that can make all the difference when approaching missions in a challenging new setting. Especially when your role is to solve critical logistical problems for workers already there. JAARS provides focused, specialized training that is vital in many different areas for those preparing for work in Bible translation and related ministries.
Please pray that God will mightily use our instructors to provide practical, helpful training for those preparing for missions work.
