디아스포라 협력: 캐나다
위클리프 디아스포라 협력 팀에서는 틴데일다문화사역센터에서 열린 다문화 리더십 컨퍼런스에 참여하여 부쓰를 설치하고 디아스포라 사역 관계자들과 교제하며 참가자들과 함께 비전을 나눴습니다. 다문화사회와 여러 디아스포라 공동체의 고민을 함께 나누며 기도하는 좋은 기회였음에 감사드립니다!
10월 26일에도 복음주의 중국인교회 교단에서 열리는 선교 행사에 부쓰를 설치하고 성경번역 선교 사역에 대해 나눌 예정입니다. 부쓰에서 섬기는 일들을 통해 더 많은 동역의 기회가 창출되도록 기도해 주세요.
이규준 선교사는 10월 21-24일 태국 방콕에서 열리는, 위클리프 국제 연합 아시아-태평양 지역 리더회의에 위클리프 캐나다를 대표하여 참여하게 되었습니다. 여행의 안전과 건강을 위해 기도해 주시고, 하나님이 주시는 지혜로 위클리프 단체 간의 협력에 잘 기여할 수 있게 기도해 주세요.

Diaspora Engagement, Canada
The Diaspora Engagement Team participated in the Intercultural Leadership Conference, hosted by the Tyndale Intercultural Ministry Center. We set up the Wycliffe booth, connected with diaspora ministry workers, and shared the vision of the Bible translation movement with attendees. We are grateful for this excellent opportunity to share concerns about multicultural society and various diaspora communities, and pray together!
On October 26th, we will also set up a booth at a mission event hosted by the Association of Chinese Evangelical Ministry and share about the Bible translation movement. Please pray that our service at the booth will create more opportunities for active partnership with churches, individuals, and other agencies.
Gyoojun will represent Wycliffe Canada at the Wycliffe Global Alliance Asia-Pacific Conference in Bangkok, Thailand, from October 21-24. Please pray for his safe travel and good health, and that he may contribute well to cooperation among Wycliffe organizations with the wisdom God provides.

동부 라와 프로젝트: 성경 번역, 동남아시아 보안 지역 (배포하거나 온라인에 게시하지 말아 주세요)
마가복음 번역 작업의 모든 단계가 마무리되어 하나님께 감사드립니다. 현재 팀은 앱 기술자와 Scriptoria의 도움을 기다리며, 앱을 구글플레이 스토어에 업로드할 준비를 하고 있습니다. 팀 점검이 필요한 베드로전서 전체와 야고보서 1~5장의 번역 목표가 잘 진행되도록, 또한 야고보서 전체 번역에 지속적인 진전이 있도록 기도해 주세요.
함께 기도해 주세요:
- 매주 토요일과 일요일에 동*과 진* 선교가 마을과 새로운 마을인꽁로이*에서 어린이 사역을 하고 있습니다. 기도해주신 덕분에 이 사역은 잘 이어지고 있습니다.
- 동*과 진* 선교사가 예수님과 하나님 나라의 복음에 대해 아이들과 잘 나누며 소통할 수 있도록
- 아이들이 계속 관심을 가지고, 꾸준히 모임에 나올 수 있도록
- 현재 두 사람의 라와 언어 학습이 중단된 상태입니다. 라와 언어 학습에 대한 열정과 에너지를 회복하도록 기도해 주세요.

Eastern Lawa Project: Bible translation in a sensitive area of Asia (do not forward or post this online)
Praise God that the translation work is finished on all aspects of the book of Mark. The team is waiting on the App technician and help from Scriptoria to upload the App to the Google Play store. Pray for the translation goals of completing the team check of 1 Peter and James 1–5, and also for progress on the book of James.
Please pray with us:
- Thank you for praying for wisdom and energy for Dong* and Jin* as they work with kids in their own village on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as in the new village of GongLoi* every week. Praise God, the work is continuing well
- Pray for Dongin* and Jin* to communicate well about Jesus and the gospel of the kingdom.
- Pray that the children will remain interested and continue coming.
- Pray for a renewed passion and energy for Dong and Jin to continue learning the Lawa language. Currently, they have paused this vital aspect of learning.

성경 녹음, 봉헌, 그리고 건강을 위한 기도:
필리핀
- FCBH (믿음은 들음에서 나며) 가 11월까지 키나마유어 신약성경 오디오 녹음을 시작할 수 있도록, 또한 가당어와 긴살루겐어로 번역된 신약 성경의 인쇄를 위해 재정이 마련될 수 있도록
- 내년에 몇 차례 있을 예정인 신양성경 봉헌식을 위해. 모든 계획과 일정, 지역 사회의 적극적인 참여를 위해, 무엇보다 하나님의 말씀을 통해 이들의 삶이 변혁될 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.
- 10월 16일에 열리는 자선 콘서트 행사에서 암과 기타 여러 건강 문제로 어려움을 겪고 있는 필리핀 성경번역 협회 사역자들의 의료비 지원을 위해 기금을 모금합니다. 많은 분들이 풍성한 나눔과 사랑으로 참여해 주시도록.
- 성경 번역 사역에 헌신하고 있는 사역자들과 가족들의 건강과 평안을 위해 기도해 주세요.

Prayers for Scripture recordings, dedications and health: Philippines
- Pray that Faith Comes By Hearing (FCBH) can start the audio recording of the Kinamayu New Testament by November. Pray also for printing funds for the Gaddang and Ginsalugen New Testaments.
- Some New Testament dedications will take place next year. Pray for planning, scheduling decisions and good participation from the communities. Most of all, pray that God’s Word brings transformation.
- Pray for the Benefit Concert on 16 October to raise funds to help cover medical costs for TAP(Translators Association of the Philippines) members with cancer and other health issues. Pray that many will participate with generosity and love
- Pray for good health and well-being for those serving in translation ministry and their families.

초벌 성경번역 점검: 파라과이
파라과이 성경번역 단체는 최근 차코의 냔데바 공동체와 함께 번역된 초벌 번역 점검 과정을 마쳤습니다. 마을 점검은 성경 번역의 핵심 단계입니다. 성경 초안을 작성한 후, 번역자들은 공동체 구성원들에게 성경을 선보이고 함께 읽으며 토론합니다. 남녀 노소가 모두 참여하는 이 과정을 통해 본문이 명확하고 자연스러우며 원문에 충실한지 확인하는 데 도움을 줍니다. 자신들의 언어로 번역된 말씀을 함께 듣고 참여하고 묵상하며, 기쁨을 나누는 시간이었습니다.
함께 참여한 모든 이들로 인하여 하나님께 감사드립니다. 냔데바 공동체가 자신들의 언어로 완역된 성경을 갖는 데 가까와 질 수 있도록 이끌어 주는 이 모든 과정들로 인해 감사를 드립니다.
사람들이 초벌 번역본을 들으면서도 하나님의 말씀이 그들의 마음에 깊이 새겨지도록 기도해 주세요.

Review of a draft of the Scriptures:Paraguay
LETRA Paraguay recently conducted a Scripture draft check with the Ñandeva community in Chaco. The community review is a key stage in Bible translation: after drafting the Scriptures, the translators present it to the community to read and discuss together. In this way, men, women, young people and elders help identify whether the text is clear, natural and faithful to the original message. It was a time of participation, reflection and joy as they listened together to the Word in their language.
Praise God for the people who participated.
Thank God for every step that brings the Ñandeva people closer to havingthe complete Word in their language.
Pray that even as people hear the drafts, God’s Word will penetrate their hearts..

항공 선교
지난 75년 이상 동안 잘스는 지구상에서 가장 멀리 떨어진 오지를 대상으로 사역하는 항공 선교의 선두 주자입니다. 아직도 하나님의 말씀을 듣지 못하는 많은 소수 민족이 가장 접근하기 어려운 곳에 거주하기 때문입니다. 끝없이 펼쳐진 열대우림과 험준한 산악지대, 예측할 수 없는 날씨, 지원할 시스템이 거의 없는, 수작업으로 만든 활주로를 상상해 보십시오. 이러한 환경에서 안전하게 비행하는 것은 지구상에서 가장 힘든 일 중 하나이며, 하나님께서 잘스를 부르신 사명의 핵심입니다.
잘스의 항공기 유지 보수, 전문적인 훈련이 필요한 조종사들과 정비사들, 항공전자 기술자들, 그리고 자격을 갖춘 사역자들을 잘 동원할 수 있도록, 또한 전 세계 항공 선교 협력 단체들과 더욱 효과적으로 협업할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Air Operations
For nearly 75 years, JAARS has been a leader in mission aviation, serving in the most remote and rugged places on Earth. Many language groups still lack access to God’s Word and are among the most difficult to reach. Picture endless miles of rainforest and rugged mountains—with unpredictable weather, no support system, and airstrips carved out by hand. Flying safely in these environments is one of the most challenging jobs on earth, and it’s at the core of what God has called JAARS to do.
Please pray for the maintenance needs of our fleet of aircraft, as well as for the pilots, mechanics, and avionics technicians who require our specialized training, and for the acquisition of qualified staff. Pray for effective collaboration with our mission aviation partners worldwide.
