Kairos Course: Greater Toronto Area
We are grateful that the Kairos Course held at We Church in Toronto over the past two months finished well in God's grace! As seen in the illustrations above, it was a precious and blessed time where all participants resolved to strengthen their missional lives within their respective spheres of influence and the places they have been sent. Please join us in prayer that the commitments shared before one another as witnesses will bear tangible fruits of God's Mission.

박요섭 / 조선향 선교사: 파푸아뉴기니, 카니누와 민족 성경 번역
번역을 마친 디모데 전후서, 디도서, 빌레몬서, 야고보서, 베드로 전후서, 그리고 유다서까지 여덟 권의 서신서의 자문위원 점검을 은혜로 잘 마쳤음을 인하여 하나님을 찬송합니다. 호주와 파푸아뉴기니, 그리고 한국 등 계절과 시간이 다른 세 팀이 매일 온라인으로 모일 수 있었던 것은 하나님의 하신 일이었습니다. 꼼꼼히 점검해 주신 자문위원 알란 선교사, 하루 종일 이어진 질문에 영어로 답한 카니누와 번역팀의 윌포드와 필로미나, 저녁마다 남아 수정 작업을 한 레비와 사이몬, 더위 속에서 식사 봉사해 준 루디, 그리고 박 선교사 부부에게 각자의 사명과 감당할 힘을 허락해 주신 하나님을 찬양합니다. 이로써 카니누와 신약 성경의 약 74% 분량에 대한 자문 위원 점검을 마친 것입니다.
앞으로 이어질 수정 및 점검의 모든 과정을 위하여 계속 기도로 중보해 주셔서 하나님이 허락하실 아름다운 열매를 기쁨으로 함께 누릴 수 있도록, 특별히 번역자 잭의 아내 로즈메리가 신장 치료를 받고 있는데 경과가 좋고 잘 회복되도록 기도해 주세요.

Joseph & Joyce Park: Kaninuwa Bible Translation, Papua New Guinea (PNG)
We thank God for the successful completion of the consultant checking sessions for the eight epistles: 1 and 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, James, 1 and 2 Peter, and Jude, following the translation of these books. Three teams —the consultant in Australia, national translation team members in Papua New Guinea, and the Parks in Korea—across different time zones and seasons met online each day for God’s work. We praise God who gave each of them their calling and the strength to serve: Missionary Alan for his thorough inspection, Wilford and Philomena for answering questions in English all day, Levi and Simon for staying late each evening to make corrections, Rudy for serving meals in the heat, and Joseph and Joyce Park. This marks the completion of consultant checking sessions for approximately 74% of the Kaninuwa New Testament.
Please continue to pray for all the revision and review processes ahead, that we may rejoice in the beautiful fruit God will produce. Especially pray for Jack's wife, Rosemary, who is undergoing kidney treatment, that she may have a favourable outcome and recover well.

북부 태국어(라나) 문해 및 성경 활용: 동남아시아
라나 문해사역팀은 현지의 한 교회에서 약 45명을 대상으로 행사를 진행했고, 그 후 그 교회는 라나어 캠프를 진행해달라고 팀을 초대했습니다. 파야오주에서는 한 교회를 중심으로 17명이 참여한 3일간의 집중 훈련 과정을 인도했습니다. 하나님께서 사역팀이 섬길 수 있는 많은 문을 열어주심을 인하여 하나님께 찬양을 드립니다.
어떤 문을 열어두고 어떤 문을 닫을지를 잘 분별할 수 있는 지혜 주시도록, 팀원들의 건강과 강건함을 위해, 그리고 말씀의 진리를 경험한 모든 어린이와 어른들의 삶에 열매가 열리도록, 사역팀이 더 많은 지역 학교에서 라나어 수업을 진행할 수 있도록, 인턴들이 페이스북이나 온라인 앱, 그리고 대면 행사를 통해 문해 사역을 계속 잘 감당할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Northern Thai (Lanna) Literacy and Scripture Use: Southeast Asia
The team hosted an event at a local church for about 45 people. Afterwards, they received an invitation to facilitate a Lanna Camp at the same church. The team travelled to Payao Province and led a three-day “crash course” in Lanna training for 17 people, based at a church. Praise God that He has opened many doors for the team to serve.
Please pray for wisdom in deciding which doors to keep open and which to close. Pray for the team's strength and health. Pray for fruitfulness in the lives of all the children and adults reached with God's truth. Pray for the team as they run more Lanna classes at various local schools, mainly primary schools. Pray that the interns will continue to succeed in promoting literacy through Facebook, apps, and in-person events.

차를 통한 중보기도: 프랑스
최근 위클리프 프랑스 사역팀이 성경 번역을 위한 기도에 대한 인식을 높이는 창의적이고 새로운 방법을 도입했습니다. 모든 행사의 위클리프를 부스에서 ‘기도 티백’을 나눠주는 것입니다. 티백에는 번역과 위클리프 프랑스의 활동과 관련된 기도 제목이 적힌 메시지가 붙어 있습니다. 사람들은 차가 우러나는 동안 메시지에 적힌 기도 제목을 위해 기도하도록 초대하는 것입니다. 기도 제목 외에도 더 자세한 정보를 얻을 수 있는 큐알(QR) 코드가 함께 제공됩니다.
이 새로운 사역을 통해 더 많은 사람이 하나님 나라의 확장을 위한 성경 번역 사역을 위해 기도하고 후원하는 일에 함께하게 되도록 기도해 주세요!

Tea and prayer: France
Recently, the staff of Wycliffe France introduced a creative new way to raise awareness of prayer for Bible translation. At every event where they have a display, they hand out bags of ‘prayer tea’. A message is attached to the tea bag, addressing an intercession topic related to translation programs or the life of the Wycliffe France organization. People are invited to use the time it takes for the tea bag to steep to pray for the topic mentioned in the message. In addition to the written prayer topic, the message includes a QR code for more information.
Pray that, through this initiative, more and more people will commit to prayer and to supporting translation to advance God's kingdom!

기도의 통로: 에티오피아
위클리프 에티오피아 사역자들은 기도의 중요성을 굳게 믿으며 하나님께 온전히 의지합니다. 팀은 다양한 시간과 창의적인 방법으로 기도할 수 있도록 인도해 주신 하나님께 감사드립니다. 매주 월요일에 진행되는 채플 모임은 프로젝트에 참여하는 사역자들과 가족들, 그리고 사역을 기도로 지원하는 교회들이 함께 참여하는 시간입니다. 사역자들은 또한 소셜 미디어와 왓츠앱을 활용해 기도 자료를 중보기도 팀에 공유합니다. 에티오피아 국내와 해외에도 위클리프 에티오피아를 위해 기도하는 자원봉사자들이 있습니다. 이 모든 기도는 성경이 없는 소수 민족과 성경 번역 운동에 참여하는 모든 이들을 위해 드려지고 있습니다.
이러한 모든 활동과 위클리프 에티오피아의 성경 번역 프로그램, 팀과 사역자들, 그들의 가족들을 위해, 그리고 에티오피아의 평화와 정치적 안정을 위해서도 기도해 주세요.

Channels for prayer: Ethiopia
Wycliffe Ethiopia staff firmly believe in prayer, confirming their dependency on God. Thank God for the different times and organized creative ways to pray. The weekly Monday chapel programs, with participation of project staff, families and other churches that support the ministry in prayer, are important sessions for Wycliffe Ethiopia. Staff also use social media and WhatsApp to channel prayer resources to their network of intercessors. There are also volunteers in Ethiopia and abroad who pray for Wycliffe Ethiopia. All this is done on behalf of those who do not yet have access to the Scriptures, as well as for those involved in Bible translation movements.
Pray for all of these initiatives, and for Wycliffe Ethiopia’s Bible translation programs, teams, staff and families. Pray also for peace and stability in Ethiopia.

감기와 독감이 유행하는 계절인데 모든 사역자들에게 주께서 건강의 복을 주시도록, 여러 선교사들이 다양한 건강 문제로 어려움을 겪고 있는데, 잘 치유되도록 기도해 주세요.

Weekly prayer with JAARS
We have several specific needs for our MK Station, which provides childcare 3 mornings a week to the children of our staff. Ask God for his abundant provision of volunteers.
Please continue to pray for safe operations for the Kwadima II as it returns four Gumawana translators to their villages.
Ask the Lord to bless JAARS staff with good health as we enter the cold-and-flu season. Several staff members are also dealing with various health issues. Please pray for their healing.
