글로벌 사역을 위한 36명의 졸업생 배출: 달라스, 글로벌
달라스 국제대학교는 지난 5월 열린 제26회 졸업식에서 예배와 성찰, 감사의 시간을 통해 36명의 졸업생을 배출했습니다. 스콧 총장은 올해 졸업생들의 헌신과 용기를 칭찬했으며, 졸업생 대표 여호수아는 동료들에게 하나님의 신실하심을 기억할 것을 당부했습니다. 데이비드 명예 총장은 시편 145편의 말씀을 인용하여 모든 상황에서 하나님을 찬양하라는 도전으로 축사를 마쳤습니다. 이 학교 졸업생들은 80여 개국과 60개 동역 단체에서 성경 번역, 언어학, 문해 사역, 성경 활용, 문화 분석 등에서 전문 사역자로 섬기고 있습니다. 전 세계 언어 공동체를 섬길 준비를 마친 이 졸업생들로 인하여 하나님께 찬양을 드립니다.
그들이 사역과 섬김의 자리로 나아갈 때 주께서 인도하시고 보호하시며 공급해 주시도록 기도해 주시고
현재 미국, 인도네시아, 브라질, 우간다에서 파송을 준비 중인 학생들에게 지속적인 하나님의 능력과 창의력이 주어지도록 기도해 주세요.

36 graduates prepared for global service: Dallas, Global
At its 26th Commencement in May, Dallas International University (DIU) celebrated 36 graduates during a ceremony marked by worship, reflection, and gratitude. President Dr. Scott Berthiaume commended the Class of 2025 for their dedication and bravery, while graduate speaker Joshua Frost encouraged classmates to remember God’s faithfulness. President Emeritus Dr. David Ross concluded with a challenge from Psalm 145 to praise God in every circumstance. DIU alumni serve in roles such as translators, linguists, literacy specialists, Scripture engagement consultants, and cultural analysts across more than 80 countries and 60 partner organizations. Praise God for this newest group of graduates, equipped to serve language communities worldwide.
Pray that He will lead, protect, and provide for them as they enter ministry and service and
for continued strength and creativity for DIU students currently preparing in the U.S., Indonesia, Brazil, and Uganda.

어려운 상황 중 신약 성경 완역: 남아시아
지난 9월 비라리 부족어 신약 성경을 봉헌하며 하나님을 찬양합니다. 한 위클리프 국제 연대 소속의 현지인 번역가는 가족과 함께 10여 년 넘게 번역팀과 지역사회를 신실하게 섬기며 수많은 도전을 마주했습니다. 반대와 위협에도 불구하고 비라리 번역팀은 신약성경을 완역하고 문해 자료를 개발하며 비라리어 예수 영화도 제작했습니다. 한때 가난과 문맹으로 고통받던 비라리 공동체는 자신들의 언어로 된 성경 완역으로 인하여 기뻐합니다. 고립되었던 이 오지에 도로, 전기, 이동통신망이 들어오며 놀라운 변화를 경험했습니다. 비라리 프로젝트를 위해 함께하며 이 일을 마치도록 중보해 주신 기도 동역자, 재정 후원자, 번역 자문위원, 기술팀, 언어 프로그램 관리팀, 훈련팀으로 인하여 하나님께 찬양을 드립니다.
더 많은 비라리 사람들이 자기네 말로 된 하나님의 말씀을 통해 살아계신 하나님을 만나게 되도록 기도해 주세요.

New Testament Completed in a Challenging Context in South Asia
Praise God for the September dedication of the Birari New Testament. A national translation worker from an Alliance organization faced many challenges as he and his family faithfully served with the translation team and the community for more than a dozen years. Despite opposition and threats, the Birari translation team completed the New Testament, developed literacy materials, and produced the JESUS film in Birari. The Birari community, once marked by poverty and illiteracy, now rejoices in having scripture in their language. The once-isolated valley has seen a remarkable transformation — with roads, electricity, and mobile networks reaching the community. Praise God for the prayer partners, project donors, supporters, consultants, and the technical, language program management, and training teams who stood with the Birari project to see this work completed.
Pray that more Birari people will encounter the living God through His Word in their language.

Weekly prayer with JAARS
Ask God to provide a speedy resolution to the need for several visas for our international Apprentices starting in early 2026 and for visas needed for teams leaving the Waxhaw base to go to Papua New Guinea.
Please pray for the safety of our remote team members and for wisdom for the Safety and Security staff as they plan long-term protection for all our teams.
The staff at JAARS wishes everyone a blessed Christmas! We are grateful for your faithful prayers for JAARS's ministry.
