L and C 선교사: 성경 번역, 아시아 보안 지역
대상 민족의 문화가 다르고 언어의 의미나 표현 방식이 구약 시대의 상황과 많이 달라서 많은 어려움이 있었지만 하나님의 은혜로 느헤미야 초벌 수정 작업을 잘 마쳤음에 감사드립니다. 이제는 두 번 째 수정 작업 과정에 있습니다. 초벌 수정 작업에서 놓친 것이 없는지 꼼꼼히 살펴보며 진행 중입니다. 주님이 주시는 지혜와 능력으로 순조롭게 진행되도록 기도해 주세요.
L 선교사와 함께 섬기는 현지인 언어 조력자는 매월 한두 번씩 주위에 있 는 다른 마을로 단기 선교를 다녀 옵니다. 때로는 냉대를 당하고 오기도 하지만, 복음을 전하고자 하는 귀한 마음 주셔서 감사하고, 다른 형제 자매들에게도 이 아름다운 마음이 전파되도록 기도해 주세요.
최근에 L 선교사는 대상포진으로, C 선교사는 백내장 수술 등 건강에 도전이 있었지만, 섬겨주시는 손길들을 통해 잘 치료받고 이겨내고 있음에 감사드립니다. 계속해서 건강하게 열매 풍성한 사역 이어가도록 기도해 주세요.

L and C:Bible translation in a sensitive area of Asia
we are thankful that, by God’s grace, we have successfully completed the first round of revisions to Nehemiah although we encountered many challenges due to the differences in culture and language in which meanings and expressions are varied from those of the Old Testament era, We are now in the second round of revision and
proceeding carefully to ensure that nothing is missed during the first round. Please pray that the second round of revisions for Nehemiah goes smoothly through the wisdom and strength the Lord provides.

The national translator who works with L goes on short-term missions to neighbouring villages once or twice a month. Thank you for his valuable desire to share the Gospel, and please pray that this wonderful spirit may be passed on to our brothers and sisters as well. Sometimes he comes back from evangelistic trips feeling met with coldness, but please pray that the Lord will walk with him so he does not lose his love for Him or his passion for evangelism, and that He will guide us wisely and keep us safe on the journey, regardless of the circumstances.

Recently, Missionary L has been dealing with shingles, and Missionary C has undergone cataract surgery, but we are grateful that, thanks to the care and support they have received, they are recovering well and overcoming these challenges. Please continue to pray that they may remain in good health and continue their fruitful ministry.

지난 토요일에 토론토와 캘거리에서 각각 위클리프 기도팀들이 모여 성경번역 선교를 위해 함께 기도해주셨습니다. 집중 후원 프로젝트인 SRA, 태국, 캐나다 원주민 선교, 디아스포라 동원사역 등을 위해 함께 기도해주셨음에 감사드립니다!
지난 15년 이상 계속해서 함께 기도와 후원 및 여러 사역으로 동역해주신 팀들에 감사드리며, 계속해서 더 풍성한 동역으로 이어지도록, 팀원들의 가정과 사역에 기름부으심과 주님의 배가의 역사가 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Wycliffe Prayer Teams
On Saturday, March 28, Wycliffe prayer teams gathered in Toronto and Calgary to pray for Bible translation movement. We thank the teams for their prayers for some of the Wycliffe Canada's focus projects, SRA, Wycliffe Thailand, Indigenous Initiative in Canada, and the mobilization ministries of the Diaspora Engagement team!
We thank the teams that have partnered with us in prayer, support, and various ministries for over 15 years. Please pray that this partnership will continue to grow even more fruitful, and that the Lord’s anointing and work of multiplication will be upon the families and ministries of our prayer team members.

동부 라와* 프로젝트: 성경 번역, 동남아시아 보안 지역 (배포하거나 온라인에 게시하지 말아 주세요)
최근 베드로후서 번역 작업이 진전을 보인 것을 인하여 하나님을 찬양합니다. 초벌번역, 팀 점검 및 역번역이 모두 완료되었습니다. 프로젝트 책임자 그렉 선교사는 팀원들이 베드로전후서의 팀 점검 작업을 진행하는 동안 중보해 달라고 부탁했습니다. 뉴질랜드 본국생활에 다시 적응하며 일상의 정상적인 리듬을 되찾아가는 그렉과 로지 선교사 부부를 위해 기도해 주셔서 감사합니다
• 두 군데의 암 조직을 제거하는 수술을 받고 회복 중인 로지 선교사는 아직 의료적인 후속 조치가 필요합니다
• 고린도 전후서의 초벌 번역을 진행 중인 번역 팀이 최선을 다할 수 있도록
• 문해사역 증진을 위해 연례 킹 윌랑카 축제에 부스 설치를 잘 준비할 수 있도록

Eastern Lawa* Project: Bible translation in a sensitive area of Asia (do not forward or post this online)
Praise God for the recent progress in translating 2 Peter - the first draft, team check and back translation have all been completed. Greg, project facilitator, asks us to pray for the team as they work through a team check for 1 & 2 Peter. Thank you for praying for Greg and Rosie as they settle back into life in New Zealand and get into a normal rhythm of work and life.
- Pray for Rosie as she recovers from surgery to remove two areas of cancer and still needs medical follow-ups
- Please pray for the translation team as they move forward with the first draft of the books of 1 and 2 Corinthians
- Pray for the preparation to set up a booth at the annual King Wilanka festival to promote literacy

문자 및 구전 번역: 에티오피아
위클리프 에티오피아는 구약과 신약의 문서 및 구어 번역 작업을 진행하고 있습니다. 번역이 완료되어 출판을 위해 보내질 준비가 된 4개 소수언어 번역본을 인하여 주께 감사드립니다. 다음을 위해 기도해 주세오:
• 말라리아 및 기타 질병으로 인한 건강의 어려움으로 사역 일정에 차질이 생긴 번역가들의 회복과 빠른 치유를 위하여
• 진행 중인 차라, 무르시, 이노르 언어 신약 성경 번역 프로젝트가 은혜로 잘 추진되도록
• 지역 사회의 번역 프로그램 참여를 확대하여 사람들이 번역된 성경을 적극적으로 활용하고 참여할 수 있도록
• 에티오피아의 평화와 현지 여러곳에서의 안전을 잘 지켜주시도록

Both written and oral translations: Ethiopia
Wycliffe Ethiopia works on both written and oral translations from the Old and New Testaments. Thank God for the four language translations that have been finalized and are ready to be sent for publication. Pray for:
• Recovery and healing support for translators dealing with health issues, including malaria and other diseases, which affect their plans
• The ongoing Tsara, Mursi and Innor New Testament translation projects
• Increase community engagement in translation programmes so that people can actively participate and use the translated Scriptures
• Peace in Ethiopia and for the resolution of various regional security issues

K 언어 성경 봉헌식: 노르웨이, 동남아시아
|
Dedication of the K-Bible: Norway, Southeast Asia
Pray for the upcoming K-Bible dedication in Southeast Asia, scheduled for May. The New Testament, along with Genesis and Exodus, has been sent to the printer. Pray that God will oversee the entire printing process, safeguarding workers, machines, and equipment. Pray that the Bibles will be printed and delivered on time, and:
- Thank God that the audio recording of the New Testament has been finished. Pray for the production and distribution of SD cards containing these recordings, so many people can have the chance to listen to God’s Word in their own language
- The couple from Wycliffe Norway who have faithfully served in translation for several decades will retire and return to Norway in June. Pray for their smooth transition and for the local translator who will continue their work
- Pray that God will prepare hearts to receive His Word and eliminate the false belief that the Bible is a counterfeit book
5월에 예정된 동남아시아 지역의 K 언어 성경 봉헌식을 위해 기도해 주세요. 신약성경과 창세기, 출애굽기가 인쇄소로 보내졌습니다. 하나님이 인쇄 과정 전반을 주관하시며, 일꾼들과 기계, 장비를 지켜 주시고, 성경이 제때에 인쇄되어 배포될 수 있도록 기도해 주세요
- 신약의 오디오 녹음이 완료된 것을 인하여 하나님께 감사드립니다. 이 녹음 파일이 담긴 SD 카드의 제작과 배포를 위해, 그리하여 많은 사람들이 자신의 언어로 하나님의 말씀을 들을 기회를 갖게 되도록
- 수십 년간 번역 사역에 충성스럽게 헌신해 온 위클리프 노르웨이의 부부가 6월에 은퇴하여 본국으로 돌아갑니다. 원활한 인수인계가 이루어지도록, 사역을 잘 이어갈 현지인 성경번역 사역자를 위해 기도해 주세요

Weekly prayer with JAARS
Pray that God will send the right people to fill dozens of open positions, especially a Director of Health Services for our clinic and part-time workers at the MK station, which provides childcare for JAARS staff
Throughout JAARS, we have nearly three dozen young adults training in different areas. Pray for successful leadership development and growth in technical skills
Pray for God's protection and strength for all our team members serving internationally
