알버트 / 마르다 (이삭, 모세) 선교사: 위클리프 대만 대표, 보안국 지역 책임자
위클리프 대만은 성경번역 사역과 함께 중점 사역 중에 하나로, 하나님이 보내주신 난민과 외국인 노동자들을 섬기고 있습니다. 지역교회와 협력하여 개발해 온 '익스프레스 인도네시아'라는 인도네시아어 배우기 프로그램을 통해, 대만인 그리스도인들이 가정 상주 돌봄이로 일하는 인도네시아 사람들과 그들의 언어로 소통함으로 그들에 대한 사랑과 존중을 표하며 더 나은 관계를 세워가도록 돕는 사역을 하고 있습니다.
또한 10월에는 유관 기관들과 협력하여 말레이시아에 있는 난민 캠프에 위클리프 대만 단기선교 팀을 파송하기 위해 준비하고 있습니다.
5월 초에는 대만 동부의 타이루거족(太魯閣族)의 오디오 성경 녹음을 준비하기 위하여 동부의 화리엔 지역을 방문합니다. 아래와 같이 함께 마음 모아 기도해주세요.
- '인도네시아 익스프레스' 프로그램을 섬기는 알버트와 동료 선교사를 위해, 이 프로그램을 통해 대만 그리스도인들이 인도네시아 사람들과의 원활한 소통으로 상호간에 좋은 관계가 형성되고, 복음의 문이 열리도록
- 5월에 있을 오디오 성경 녹음을 위해 대만 성서 공회와 FCBH, 그리고 현지 교회와의 긴밀한 협력이 잘 이뤄지도록
- 관련 단체들과 잘 협력하여 10월 위클리프 대만의 단기팀의 말레이시아에서의 난민 사역을 위한 준비가 잘 이뤄지도록

Albert and Martha (Isaac, Moses): Director of Wycliffe Taiwan and Language Program Manager for a sensitive area, respectively
Alongside Bible translation, Wycliffe Taiwan focuses on serving refugees and foreign workers whom God has sent to our midst. Through “Express Indonesia,” an Indonesian language learning program developed in partnership with local churches, Albert with his Wycliffe co-worker helps Taiwanese Christians build better relationships with Indonesian live-in caregivers by communicating with them in their own language, thereby expressing love and respect for them.
He is also preparing to send a Wycliffe Taiwan short-term mission team to a refugee camp in Malaysia in October, in collaboration with other related organizations.
In early May, he will be visiting the Hualien County in eastern Taiwan to prepare for the recording of the audio Bible for the Taroko people. Please join us in prayer for these ministries, as outlined below.
- For Albert and his coworker serving the “Indonesia Express” program, that through this program, Taiwanese Christians may communicate effectively with the Indonesian people, fostering good relationships between them and opening doors for the Gospel
- For close cooperation between the Taiwan Bible Society, FCBH, and local churches for the audio Bible recording scheduled for May
- that Wycliffe Taiwan will cooperate well with related organizations to ensure that preparations for Wycliffe Taiwan’s short-term team’s refugee ministry in Malaysia this October go smoothly.

소수민족 교회 리더들 위한 카이로스 코스
3월 말에 지난 2개 월 동안 진행되었던 소수민족 교회 지도자들을 위한 카이로스 코스가 성료되었음에 감사드립니다! 영어로 소통하는 데 어려움도 있었지만, 모두에게 하나님과 함께 하는 선교적인 삶과 교회가 되는 일에 세계관적 변혁이 있었음에 감사드립니다.
마지막 나눔 시간에 한 자매는 성경번역 선교사역에 헌신할 비전도 함께 나눠주었습니다. 타민족 선교를 위한 기도와 가까운 이웃 선교, 단기 선교 사역과 선교 동원 등 다양한 분야에서 하나님의 선교에 동참하기로 결심한 참가자들의 결심을 하나님의 열심이 이루어 가시도록 기도해 주세요.

Kairos course for ethnic church leaders
We are grateful that the Kairos Course for ethnic church leaders, which took place over the past two months, came to a successful conclusion at the end of March! Although there were some challenges in communicating in English, we are thankful that everyone experienced a worldview transformation regarding living a missional life with God and becoming a missional church.
During the final sharing session, one sister shared her vision to dedicate herself to Bible translation missions. Please pray that God’s zeal will bring to fruition the commitments made by the participants—who have decided to join God’s mission in various fields, including prayer for cross-cultural missions, outreach to neighbors, short-term missions, and mission mobilization.

성경 번역 운동에 있어서 기초 사역: 가나
가나성경번역연구소(길버트)는 가나 전역에서 성경 번역, 문해 및 언어학 사역에 중요하게 기여하는 단체로서, 성경 활용, 지역사회 개발, 교회 협력 등을 증진시킴으로 성경 번역 선교 운동이 지속적으로 이뤄지도록 하고 있습니다. 또한 다양한 프로그램들을 신중하게 시행함으로 지역 교회들과 공동체들에게 유익을 끼치고 있습니다. 아래와 같이 기도해 주세요.
- 문해 사역, 가족 건강, 성경 활용 등 모든 사역을 통하여 사람들의 전인적 변화와 영적 성장에 효과적으로 기여할 수 있도록
- 사역이 중단 없이 계속될 수 있도록 재정적 지원, 기도, 물적 자원이 꾸준히 공급되도록
- 연구소 사역자들과 지역 사회 자원봉사자들의 건강과 회복력을 위해, 그들이 각자의 책무를 잘 감당하고 모든 문화적 상황에서 효과적으로 말씀을 전할 수 있도록

Foundational Work in Bible Translation: Ghana
The Ghana Institute of Linguistics, Literacy, and Bible Translation (GILLBT) is known for its essential contributions to Bible translation across Ghana. GILLBT also promotes access to Scripture, community development, and church engagement to ensure sustainability. Various programs are carefully implemented across the country, benefiting local churches and communities. Please pray
- for every initiative – whether focused on literacy, family health, or Scripture engagement – will effectively contribute to the holistic transformation and spiritual growth of the people served
- for ensuring consistent provision of financial support, prayer, and logistical resources so that the work continues without interruption
- to support the health and resilience of GILLBT workers and community volunteers, enabling them to fulfill their responsibilities and communicate the Word effectively across all cultural contexts

일일선교여행을 통한 선교 체험: 홍콩
‘일일선교여행’ 프로그램은 참가자들이 선교에 대한 하나님의 마음을 이해하고, 다문화 사역자들이 직면한 현실을 깊이 있게 파악할 수 있도록 돕기 위해 고안된 실용적이고 상호작용적인 선교훈련 프로그램입니다. 4시간에 걸쳐 참가자들은 선교사가 되어 현지에 파송되어 가는 과정을 단계별로 경험하며, 선교지에서 타문화권 사람들과의 의미 있는 만남을 경험합니다. 지난 2월말, 위클리프 홍콩은 지역 교회에서 ‘일일선교여행’ 행사를 개최했으며, 60명의 참가자와 40명 이상의 헌신적인 자원봉사자들이 함께했습니다. 아래와 같이 함께 기도해 주세요.
- 이번 행사를 통하여 교회와 성도들 사이에서 선교 사역에 더 적극적으로 참여하고자 하는 열망을 불러일으키도록
- 또한 이 훈련 프로그램이 지역 교회들과의 파트너십을 강화하고 지속적인 관계를 형성할 수 있도록,
- 10월에 예정된 다음 회차를 위한 준비가 곧 시작되는데, 원활한 계획 수립과 자원봉사자 및 주최 교회들의 지속적인 열정을 위해

‘The Journey’ mission exposure: Hong Kong
‘The Journey’ is a practical, interactive learning experience designed to help participants understand God’s heart for mission and gain insight into the realities faced by cross-cultural workers. Over four hours, participants engage in a series of dynamic group activities that replicate key stages of a mission journey, including meaningful encounters with people from different cultures. On 28 February, Wycliffe Hong Kong hosted ‘The Journey’ at a local church, with 60 participants and over 40 dedicated volunteers. Please pray that:
- this event will inspire greater interest among churches and individual Christians to become more actively involved in mission work.
- the program will strengthen partnerships and foster lasting relationships with local churches.
- for smooth planning and sustained enthusiasm among volunteers and host churches as the preparations for the next Journey event, scheduled for October, are beginning soon.

Happy Easter! Please pray that people everywhere will soon have access to God's Word in the language they understand best. Our transition to financial software is nearly finished.
Praise God that two staff members recently returned from Cameroon after providing Water Travel Safety instructor training for members of the Cameroon Aviation team. Pray that the training will have a lasting impact as they teach others what they have learned.
Our financial software transition is almost complete. Please pray that our accounting and database teams will learn how to use it effectively.
