L and C 선교사: 성경 번역, 아시아 보안 지역
L 선교사는 대상포진으로, C 선교사는 백내장 수술로 건강에 도전이 있었지만, 지금은 순조롭게 회복되어 일상생활에 복귀하게 되어 감사드립니다.
또한 Z 언어의 느헤미야서 두 번째 수정 작업이 계획했던 일정에 맞춰 순조롭게 진행되어 이제 마무리 단계에 이르게 된 것으로 인하여 하나님께 찬양을 올려드립니다. 수정 작업을 통해서 이전에 발견하지 못했던 부족했던 부분들을 찾아내고 더 자연스럽게, 그리고 정확하게 다듬어지는 것을 보며, 다시 한번 하나님의 은혜임을 고백하게 됩니다.
수정 작업과 함께 그 나라의 공용어로 역번역을 하며 원문의 의미가 정확하게 전달되었는지를 점검하는 작업이라 매우 중요한 과정입니다.
- 7월에 예정된 현지인 사역자들과 함께 번역팀 전체가 4박 5일 일정으로 함께 만나는 일정을 위해. 사역적인 만남을 넘어 한 팀으로서 서로를 깊이 이해하고 서로 세워주는 복된 시간이 되도록
- C 선교사의 7월 14-17일 라오스로 단기 사역을 위해. C 선교사와 사역팀이 영적으로, 육적으로 강건하여 사역을 잘 감당하도록

L & C: Bible translation, a sensitive area, Asia
We are grateful that L, who faced health challenges due to shingles, and C, who underwent cataract surgery, are now recovering smoothly and have returned to their normal daily lives. We praise God that the second round of revision of the book of Nehemiah has proceeded smoothly, according to schedule, and has now reached its final stages. Through this revision process, we have identified previously unnoticed shortcomings and have seen the text become more natural and precise, leading us to confess once again that this is all by God’s grace.
Alongside the revision work, we are conducting back-translation, from the Z language to the national language of the country, to verify that the original meaning has been accurately conveyed. Please pray:
- for the team meeting of expats and the national translators for 4 nights and 5 days scheduled in July, that this will be a blessed time when, beyond a mere work oriented meeting, we can truly understand and encourage one another as one team
- for C's outreach trip to Laos July 14–17, that C and the team will be strong, both spiritually and physically, to carry out their ministry well

이제 곧 상반기가 지나고 여름 휴가철에 접어듭니다. 선교사들과 가족의 이동과 휴가 등 다양한 일들이 하절기에 일어납니다.
- 이 기간에 선교사들 본인과 가족들에게 좋은 쉼과 회복이 있도록
- 특별히 쉼과 위로가 절실한 선교사들과 '소진' 상태에 있어 치유와 회복의 과정에 있는 선교사들 및 그 가정들을 위해
- 모두가 하나님이 이 모든 삶과 사역의 주인 되심과, 건강하고 기쁘게 예배의 삶과 사역을 감당함으로 덕을 세우며 천국 복음의 증인으로 살아가도록 서로를 위해 기도합시다

A Balanced Life and Ministry for Missionaries
The first half of the year is ending, and we are entering the summer vacation season. The summer months are busy for missionaries and their families, filled with travel, vacations, and other activities.
- Please pray that this time will be a time of rest and renewal for the missionaries and their families.
- Please pray especially for missionaries who are in desperate need of rest and comfort, as well as those experiencing “burnout” and in the process of healing and recovery. •
- Let us pray for one another so that we may all recognize God as the Lord of our lives and ministries, and so that we may live as witnesses to the Gospel of the Kingdom by faithfully carrying out our lives of worship and ministry in good health and with joy.

아사리오 프로젝트: 파푸아뉴기니
7월 6일부터 17일까지 바루 마을에서 작가 워크숍이 열릴 예정임을 인하여서 하나님께 찬양 드립니다. 준비위원회는 인근 도시인 '마당'에서 필요한 모든 물품을 구매하여서 모임을 위한 준비를 마쳤습니다. 많은 사람들이 참석하고, 이를 통해 현지어 문해 교육 프로그램이 더욱 강화될 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 또한, 이를 통해 아사리오 공동체의 읽기와 쓰기 능력이 강화되어, 하나님의 말씀이 주어질 때 이를 잘 읽을 수 있게 되도록 기도해 주세요.
그리고 마가복음이 마을 점검과 번역팀 점검 과정을 마친 것으로 인하여 하나님께 찬양합니다. 사역팀은 마가복음의 역 번역 작업을 절반 정도 진행했으며, 이는 자문위원 점검 일정을 잡고 초벌 인쇄하기 전 마지막 단계입니다.

- 건강상의 문제가 있는 현지인 성경번역 사역자 클린턴의 갓난아이 치유를 위해. 가족들은 치료가 절실하지만, 현지 병원에는 의료 장비나 의료 인력이 충분하지 않습니다
- 번역팀뿐만 아니라 전체 언어 공동체 가운데 영적 부흥이 일어나도록
- 아사리오 사람들과 함께하는 사역에서 다음 단계에 대한 지혜와 하나님의 인도하심이 있도록

Asari’o Project: Papua New Guinea (PNG)
Praise God for a writer’s workshop in Baru village, to be held July 6-17. The host committee is ready to host this workshop, and all necessary supplies have been purchased in the nearby city of Madang. Pray that many will attend and that the vernacular literacy program will be strengthened as a result. Also, pray that this will strengthen the Asarɨ'o community in reading and writing so they can read God's Word when it becomes available. And praise God that the gospel of Mark has been village-checked and team-checked. The team is halfway through the back translation of Mark, and this is the final step before they can schedule a consultant check and print drafts for the community.

- for translator Klinton's infant child, who has medical issues. They are seeking medical care, but the hospitals are not well equipped with supplies or personnel
- for revival among the translation team and the wider community
- for wisdom for next steps and for God’s leading in the translation work alongside the Asarɨ'o people

5월 3일 주일, 바호 수 그라시아(‘주님의 은혜 아래’) 교회’는 엘살바도르 수어 성경 번역팀을 초청하여 하나님의 말씀을 나누는 시간을 가졌습니다. 이를 통해 성도들이 성경을 수어로 번역하는 일이 왜 중요한지 배우고, 이 비전을 함께 이루기 위해 어떤 방법으로 동역할 수 있는지 알아보는 귀한 기회를 가졌습니다.
- 엘살바도르의 많은 교회가 엘살바도르 수화 성경 번역 사역에 관심을 두고, 사역에 적극적으로 후원할 수 있도록 함께 기도해 주세요

Sharing the vision for sign language translation: El Salvador
On Sunday, 3 May, the “Bajo Su Gracia (Under His Grace)” Church invited the Salvadoran Sign Language Bible Translation team, TBLESSA, to share God’s Word. It was an opportunity for the congregation to learn why translating the Bible into sign languages is important and to explore ways to work together toward this goal.
- Pray that more churches in El Salvador will become interested in supporting the translation of the Bible into LESSA

말씀의 능력: 말레이시아
위클리프 말레이시아는 “예수 영화–성경 활용” 워크숍에 참석해 그리스도를 영접한 한 어린 소녀로 인하여 하나님께 찬양을 드립니다. 이전에는 수줍음을 타고 혼자 지내던 아이였는데 이제는 무대에 올라 담대하게 예배를 인도하게 되었습니다. 다음의 기도 제목들을 위해서 함께 기도해 주세요:
- 8월에 예정된 청소년 대상 ‘성경 활용’ 워크숍을 계획하고 있는 가운데, 이를 위한 힘과 지혜, 그리고 충분한 인력 자원이 마련되도록
- 한 사역자가 자원봉사자와 함께 한 방언 공동체에서 섬기고 있습니다. 주로 구전으로 배우는 사람들에게 성경 이야기를 나누고 있는데, 그들의 마음이 예수님께 열리고 복음을 기쁨으로 받아들이도록
- 공동체 안에는 종교적 관습과 미신에 깊이 얽매여 있는 사람들이 많습니다. 이러한 영적 속박이 끊어지고, 그들이 그리스도 안에서 주시는 자유와 소망, 그리고 새로운 삶을 경험할 수 있도록

Impact of Scripture: Malaysia
Wycliffe Malaysia praises God for a young girl who attended the Jesus Film - Scripture in Use workshop and accepted Christ. She used to be very shy and a loner, but now she has the courage to stand on stage and lead worship. Pray for:
- Plans for another Scripture In Use workshop for the youth in August, as well as for strength, wisdom and enough personnel.
- A member serving in a dialect community alongside a volunteer. As they share Bible stories with a group of mainly oral learners, pray that people will be open and receptive to Jesus.
- Many in the community are deeply rooted in religious and superstitious practices. Pray for spiritual breakthrough from these bondages and for them to experience the freedom, hope and new life found in Christ.

Ask God to provide much-needed staff for Purchasing, Human Resources, the MK Station childcare ministry, and tour guide positions.
Pray for the staff of our Intercultural Communications Course (ICC) as they welcome participants today for the July 8-August 5 session
Pray for the Soloy fuel tanks that have not yet arrived as expected. Ask God to expedite their delivery and ensure their safe arrival.
