알버트/마르다 (이삭, 모세) 선교사: 위클리프 대만 대표, 보안국 지역 책임자
예정되었던 파푸아뉴기니 의료 단기선교 팀이 6월 25일, 갑자기 골절상을 입고도 팀을 인솔하고 있는 치과 의사인 팀장과 6명의 팀원이 모두 건강하게 사역을 잘 마칠 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 올해에는 특별히 결핵을 진단하는 훈련을 방문하는 현지인들에게 할 계획인데 잘 진척이 되도록 기도해 주세요. 마르다 선교사는 7월 초부터 캐나다에서 모이는 사역팀 회의와 후원교회 방문 등의 일정을 위하여 7월 말까지 가족들과 함께 캐나다에서 체류하게 됩니다. 모든 일정이 순조롭고 유익한 모임과 만남이 되도록 기도해 주세요.

Albert and Martha (Isaac, Moses): Director of Wycliffe Taiwan and Language Program Manager of a sensitive area, respectively
Please pray for the Medical Short-Term Mission team going to Papua New Guinea, scheduled to depart on June 25. Pray that the team leader, a dentist leading despite suffering a sudden fracture, and all six team members stay healthy and faithfully complete their mission. This year, the team plans to train the local community in diagnosing tuberculosis. Pray that this program runs smoothly. Martha will be staying in Canada most of July to attend a ministry team meeting and visit partnering churches. Please pray that all these busy activities go well and that she has fruitful meetings and fellowship.

지난 주에 카이로스 코스 조력자 훈련을 잘 마침에 감사드립니다! 지속적인 선교 동원 운동에 함께 헌신하게 되고, 다음 코스를 위한 동원도 잘 이뤄지도록 기도해 주세요. 이 선교사가 6월 28~29일 (토-주일)에 에드먼튼한인침례교회 (권성범 담임목사)의 초대로 선교 특강과 주일 설교 말씀을 전하는데, 토요일 선교 특강을 잘 마침에 감사드리고, 주일 설교를 통해 성경 번역 선교의 비전이 잘 나눠지도록, 또한 초청교회와 지역의 목회자들과 좋은 교제 시간 갖도록 기도해 주세요. 또한 이번 주에 중국인 자원봉사자들을 위한 오리엔테이션이 잘 진행되도록 기도해 주세요.

Gyoojun & Jinsook Lee: Director of Diaspora Engagement, Canada
We are grateful for the well-finished Kairos course Facilitators Training last Thursday. Please pray that these new facilitators will join the mission mobilization movement and help recruit students for the next course. By the invitation of Edmonton Korean Baptist Church (Rev. Abraham Kwon, senior pastor), Gyoojun served a missions lecture yesterday and will deliver a sermon at the church's Sunday worship service on June 29. Pray that the vision and ministries of Bible Translation ministries will be well shared, and Gyoojun will have a good fellowship with the hosting church and other pastors in the area. Pray for the orientation for Chinese volunteers, which is also being held this week.

동부 라와 프로젝트: 성경 번역, 동남아시아 보안 지역 (수신자 이외에 배포하거나 온라인에 게시하지 말아주세요)
그렉과 로지 선교사 부부는 2010년부터 이 프로젝트의 책임 조력자로 이 언어권의 사람들을 섬겨왔습니다. 처음에는 알파벳과 문법을 개발하여 라와 언어를 기록하고 다양한 문해 교육 자료를 제작하는 일을 해 왔습니다. 지금은 더 많은 라와 사람들이 자기네 말로 읽고 쓸 수 있게 되었습니다. 번역팀은 50개의 구약 성경 이야기를 만들고, 녹음하여 앱에 업로드했습니다. 또한 마가복음을 포함한 성경 6권을 라와 어로 번역하여 동부 라와 부족 가운데 하나님의 나라를 세우는 데 기여했고, 현지 교회는 1~2명의 교인에서 약 40명의 성도로 성장하였습니다. 더 많은 찬송가가 인쇄되어 배포되었습니다. 라와 찬송가는 대부분의 주일 모임에서 사용되고 있습니다. 구전 성경 이야기는 주중 모임이나 주일 모임에서 대부분 사용되고 있습니다. 꽁로이* 마을에서의 매주 전도 사역을 인하여 감사드립니다. 마가복음의 오디오 녹음이 완료되어, 이번 주중 앱으로 업로드될 예정입니다. 마가복음을 150부 인쇄할 예정이며, 각 책에는 QR 코드가 포함되어 있어 앱으로 다운로드할 수 있는데, 순조롭게 이루어지도록 기도해 주세요. 로지 선교사의 심장병 치료를 위해 기도해 주셔서 감사합니다. 훨씬 더 많은 활력을 찾았고 거의 90% 정도가 회복된 것을 인하여 하나님을 찬양합니다.

Eastern Lawa Project: Bible translation in a sensitive area of Asia (Do not forward or post it anywhere online)
Greg and Rosie Blok have been facilitators of the Eastern Lawa project since 2010, serving the people of that language group. They initially developed an alphabet and orthography, enabling them to write the Lawa language and produce various literacy materials. Today, more Lawa people are learning to read and write their language. The Eastern Lawa translation team has created 50 oral Bible stories, recorded them, and uploaded them to an app. They have also helped translate six books of the Bible into Lawa, including the gospel of Mark. The Bloks have helped establish the Kingdom of God among the Eastern Lawa and have seen the local church grow from just 1-2 Christians to about 40. Praise God for: More songbooks have been printed and distributed. The Lawa songbook is used most Sundays in Christian gatherings. Oral Bible stories are shared most weeks in mid-week groups or Sunday gatherings. The project continues to support outreach in GongLoi* village. The audio for Mark's Gospel is finished, and the app will be uploaded this week. They will print 150 copies of Mark with QR codes inside, allowing people to download the app. Please pray that this will be accomplished. Thank you for praying for Rosie’s heart troubles. 성경 완역 축하: 노르웨이
최근 두 개의 번역 프로젝트를 마친 위클리프 노르웨이와 함께 하나님을 찬양합니다. 말리의 카손케 성경 전권이 4월 바마코에서 봉헌되었습니다. 위클리프 노르웨이의 구리 선교사는 약 20년 동안 구약 성경 번역 자문위원으로 섬겨왔고, 약 10년 전 현지의 정치 불안정으로, 노르웨이로 귀임해야 했지만, 원격 사역으로 번역은 계속되었습니다--이 프로젝트는 위클리프의 노르웨이의 동역 단체인 노르미스욘이 주도하고 재정을 후원했습니다. 창세기와 출애굽기를 포함한 사피어 신약 성경이 올해 초 인쇄되었습니다. 위클리프 노르웨이의 힐러브랜드와 요룬 선교사는 30년 넘게 세네갈의 사피족과 함께 섬겨왔으며, 아자미어와 라틴어 두 가지 문자로 출간된 사피어 성경이 봉헌식을 앞두고 통관을 기다리고 있습니다--이 프로젝트는 에스아이엘 세네갈이 주도하고 위클리프 노르웨이가 재정 후원했습니다. 카손케 성경과 사피어 성경이 미치는 영향력을 위해, 그리고 성도들의 믿음이 굳건해지고 더 많은 사람들이 삼위일체 하나님을 알게 되도록 기도해 주세요.

Celebrating Completed Scripture: Norway
Praise God with Wycliffe Norway for two recently finished translation projects. The entire Bible in Kasonké, Mali, was dedicated in Bamako in April. Guri Enger of Wycliffe Norway served as a translation advisor for the Old Testament for about twenty years. She had to move to Norway around ten years ago due to political instability. Still, work continued online — the project has been led and funded by Normisjon, a partner mission of Wycliffe in Norway. The Saafi New Testament, including Genesis and Exodus, was printed earlier this year. Wycliffe Norway members Hillebrand and Jorunn Dijkstra have worked with the Saafi people in Senegal for over thirty years. The Saafi Scriptures – available in two scripts, Ajami and Latin – are awaiting customs clearance before a dedication can take place. The project has been led by SIL Senegal and funded by Wycliffe Norway. Pray for the impact of the Kasonké and Saafi Bibles, that believers will be strengthened in their faith, and many more will come to know the triune God.

브라질에서의 성경 번역 진전
브라질 성경 번역 심포지엄이 3월 17일부터 21일까지 상파울루 구아룰류스에서 열렸으며 이 행사에 학자, 번역가, 조력자, 자문위원 그리고 청각장애인 지도자들을 포함하여 160여 명이 참석했습니다. 하나님께서 각자의 부르신 다양한 환경에서 번역의 진전을 위해 섬기며 서로 협력을 강화하기 위한 방법을 논의하기 위해 모였습니다. 이 다양한 그룹에는 여러 기관과 선교 단체들, 그리고 교단들이 참여했습니다. 브라질 성경 번역 운동에 헌신하는 많은 사람들이 함께할 기회를 주신 하나님께 감사드립니다. 이 행사를 통해 맺어진 관계 속에서 하나님께서 지속적으로 역사하시도록 기도해 주세요.

Advancing Bible translation in Brazil
The Symposium on Bible Translation in Brazil took place from March 17 to 21 in Guarulhos, São Paulo. About 160 participants attended, including scholars, translators, facilitators, consultants, and leaders (both hearing and Deaf). They gathered to discuss how to strengthen collaboration for the progress of translation across various contexts where God has called them to serve. This diverse group represented organizations, mission agencies, and denominations. Praise God for the opportunity to come together with such a large group of people serving in the Bible translation movement in Brazil. Pray that He will continue to work in and through the relationships built at this event.

Base Operations
Please pray for the ongoing transitions at the JAARS Base in Waxhaw, North Carolina, USA, to improve our ability to train, deploy, and support the next generation of missionary pilots, mechanics, and technicians. New and restructured divisions, departments, and staff are present at every level. Pray that we will develop cohesive cross-functional teams with agile minds and willing hearts as we explore new collaboration methods.
