L and C 선교사: 성경 번역, 아시아 보안 지역
L 선교사는 한국 복귀후 새로운 팀에 합류하여 팀 안에서의 적응을 위한 여러단계의 훈련과 동시에 로마서 번역작업을 하였고 자문위원 점검 과정만 남았습니다. C 선교사는 위클리프 캐나다 디아스포라 협력 팀의 일원으로 섬기게 되었습니다. 커뮤니케이션 코디네이터로 프로그램 자료 개발과 집중 협력 성경번역 프로젝트 기도 제목 업데이트 등을 섬기게 됩니다.
함께 섬기는 현지인 사역자의 건강과 신변의 안전을 위해, 그리고 그들이 나누는 복음을 접하는 사람들의 삶이 변혁되도록 기도해 주시고, L 선교사와 C 선교사에게 건강과 지혜 주셔서 맡은 사역들을 신실하게 감당하도록 기도해 주세요.

L and C: Bible translation, a sensitive area of Asia
L joined a new team after returning to Korea, undergoing multi-stage training to adapt within the team while simultaneously working on translating Romans. Only the consultant checking process remains. C has recently taken a role assisting Wycliffe Canada's Diaspora Engagement Team. As a Communication Coordinator in the Diaspora Engagement Team, C will develop program materials and share prayer updates of Focus Projects with partners.
Please pray for the health and safety of our local ministry partner, who works alongside us in the field. Pray that lives will be transformed through encounters sharing the gospel in the field by our local facilitator. Also, pray for health and wisdom for L and C, so they can faithfully carry out their assigned ministries.

10월 2일부터 우리는교회(최경진 담임목사)에서 진행되는 카이로스 코스를 위한 조력자들의 사전 준비 모임 잘 마쳤음에 감사드립니다. 교회 개척 이후 모든 성도들이 한 마음으로 선교적 교회를 향해 나아가는 걸음에 복내려 주시고, 코스를 통해 참여하는 리더들의 삶이 더더욱 선교적으로 헌신되도록 기도해 주세요.
이번 주에 진행되는 원주민 성경번역 사역자들을 위한 웍샵 기간(9월 21-26일)중, 목요일 점심과 오후의 오픈 세션에 교회들과 지역의 원주민 선교 사역자들이 참가하게 해주심을 감사드립니다!
특히 캘거리 지역 블랙풋 원주민들과의 구체적인 협력의 열매가 맺어지도록 기도해 주세요. 이 선교사 부부가 캘거리 지역을 방문하여 사역할 때 좋은 동역의 관계가 개발되고 깊어지도록 기도해 주세요.

Gyoojun & Jinsook Lee: Director, Diaspora Engagement, Canada
We are thankful that the facilitators' prep meeting for the Kairos Course went smoothly last Saturday. The course officially begins on October 2nd. Please pray that God blesses the journey of all church members as they move forward with united hearts to become a missional church, since its founding, and that the lives of the leaders participating in the course grow more missional.
We are grateful that church leaders and a Korean missionary working in the Calgary area for First Nations people, especially those from the Siksika reserve, will participate in the open session to share fellowship and explore potential collaboration opportunities on Thursday during the workshop for First Nation Bible translators from various language groups.
Please pray especially that concrete fruit of partnership will come from the relationship between our visitors and the Blackfoot Indigenous people in the Calgary area. Pray that as Gyoojun and Jinsook visit and meet with partners in the Calgary region, good relationships of partnership will be developed and deepened.

크리 원주민 성경 번역 운동: 원주민 성경번역사역자 웍샵
캐나다 원주민 성경 번역 사역자들을 위한 웍샵이 9월 21일부터 26일까지 앨버타주 캘거리에서 열립니다. 지난 10 년 간 온타리오주 구엘프에서 모였습니다. 캐나다 전역의 원주민 공동체들이, 나스카피, 아니시니니이모윈, 블랙풋, 콰왁왈라 등 다양한 부족을 대표하여 참석하게 됩니다. 아울러 위클리프 캐나다, 국제 에스아이엘, 캐나다 성서공회, 캔아이엘(캐나다언어문화연구소)등 협력 단체 사역자들도 함께합니다.
참가자들과 사역자들의 이름을 기억하며 기도해 주시고, 오가는 안전한 여행길과 좋은 관계 형성, 효과적인 세션들과 아름다운 교제를 위하여 기도해 주세요.

Cree initiative: First Nations Translators workshop
The First Nations Translator Workshop will occur from September 21 to 26 in Calgary, Alberta. For 10 years, these workshops had been held in Guelph, Ontario. This year, to accommodate the language groups further west, the eastern groups have agreed to travel to Calgary, Alberta, for this workshop. We will have First Nations language speakers and translators from communities across Canada, including Naskapi, Anishininiimowin, Blackfoot, and Kwak'wala, as well as staff from partner organizations such as Wycliffe Canada, SIL, Canadian Bible Society, and CanIL.
Pray for the participants and staff by name, pray for safe travels and good relationships, and pray for effective teaching and sweet fellowship.

방글라데시 성경 번역 단체인 커넥션스가 다음과 같은 기도제목을 함께 나눕니다.
- 미래의 리더십: 하나님께서 지혜와 비전, 겸손함으로 단체를 이끌어갈 대표 선교사를 세워주시도록

Connections asks for prayer for the following:
- 1-Future leadership: God's guidance to identify a director for Connections who will lead the organization with wisdom, vision, and humility.
- Upcoming Board Meeting: This will be an opportunity for unity, fruitful discussions, and Spirit-led decisions aligned with God’s direction for the organization.
- Next-Gen Missional Leaders: Staff members invest in the lives of seven young people over six months to develop them as Next-Gen missional leaders.
Pray that each experiences deep personal and spiritual growth during this time and is equipped to pursue their calling with boldness and faith.

Land Operations
In many parts of Africa, 98% of roads remain unpaved, and the rainy season extends for half the year. Despite these challenges, the most effective way for translators to gather input, test drafts, assist churches, and initiate literacy classes is by visiting local communities. That’s why JAARS facilitates our partners by supplying them with motorbikes, 4WD vehicles, safety equipment, and training in driving and maintenance.
Please pray for the 4WD vehicles and motorcycles we provide to our mission organization partners worldwide, as well as for the operational and maintenance training of their personnel.
