위클리프 캐나다 계간지 '모든 언어로 성경을' (In Other Words) 2025년 가을호 한글판이 발행되었습니다. 팀원들의 헌신과 협력에 힘입어 좋은 내용이 담긴 계간지가 한글로 출판됨을 인하여 감사드립니다!
한인 동역자들의 페루 동부 아푸리멕 케추아 성경전서 봉헌식 참여 이야기, 최근 성경 번역 선교 사역의 특징, 아프리카 남부 단기선교에 다녀온 청년들의 이야기 등을 통해 하나님의 하시는 일과 쓰임받는 사람들의 이야기를 보시고 함께 기도해 주세요.

The Korean edition of the 2025 Fall issue of Wycliffe Canada's quarterly magazine ‘In Other Words’ has been published. We are thankful that this magazine, filled with valuable content, is now available in Korean thanks to the dedication and cooperation of our team members! Please join us in prayer as you read about God's work and the people He uses through stories such as Korean co-workers participating in the dedication ceremony for the complete Quechua Bible in Apurímac, eastern Peru; recent trends in Bible translation missions; and accounts from young people who recently returned from short-term missions in southern Africa.

L and C 선교사: 성경 번역, 아시아 보안 지역
L 선교사와 함께 섬기는 현지인 언어 조력자는 정기적으로 몇몇 교인들과 함께 이웃 마을로 전도 여행을 다니며, 복음을 전하는 사역을 감당하고 있는데, 현지인 조력자의 건강과 안전을 위해, 그리고 복음을 접하는 사람들의 삶이 변화되도록 기도해 주세요.
C 선교사는 위클리프 캐나다 디아스포라팀의 사역을 돕고 있습니다. 열방에서 섬기는 여러 사역 소식들과 선교사들의 근황을 교회와 중보 기도자들에게 나누는 과정의 한 부분을 섬기고 있는데, 사역지의 필요를 알리고 함께 선교에 동역하도록 도전하는 귀한 사역되도록 기도해 주세요.
아울러 C 선교사가 다문화 가정 자녀들에게 복음을 나누는 기회로 인하여 감사드립니다. 이 아이들의 삶 가운데 예수님을 알아가는 믿음이 자라도록 기도해 주세요.

L and C: Bible translation in a sensitive area of Asia
The local facilitator working with L regularly travels to nearby villages with several church members on evangelistic trips to spread the gospel. Please pray for the health and safety of the local facilitator and that lives touched by the gospel may be transformed. C supports the ministry of Wycliffe Canada's Diaspora Engagement Team. As part of this work, she shares updates on field missions among nations, on missionaries working with churches, and on intercessors.
Please pray that this meaningful ministry will effectively communicate the needs of the mission field and inspire others to engage in missions.
We also thank C for the opportunity to share the gospel with children from multicultural families in Korea. Please pray that faith in Jesus Christ may flourish in these children's lives.

동부 라와* 프로젝트: 성경 번역, 동남아시아 보안 지역 (배포하거나 온라인에 게시하지 말아 주세요)
치앙마이 출신 대학 교수가 라와 언어 관련 업무에 대해 문의하며 프로젝트 팀에 연락을 취했습니다. 이후 그는 팀의 활동을 조직하는 데 도움을 주었고, 세 개의 다른 학교에 접근할 수 있도록 지원했으며, 자신의 언어를 읽는 법을 배우고 싶어 하는 학생들을 위한 토요 체험 공부반을 인도했습니다. 이를 통해 또 다른 학교가 문을 열게 되었으며, 팀은 매주 그곳을 방문해 라와어 문해 교육을 할 예정입니다. 아이들은 이 과목을 선택할 수 있습니다.
수요일 왕콩* 학교에서 진행되는 라와 팀의 수업을 위해 기도해 주십시오. 이곳은 새로 개설된 학교입니다.

Eastern Lawa* Project: Bible translation in a sensitive area of Asia (do not forward or post this online)
A university professor from Chiang Mai contacted our team to inquire about their work with the Lawa language. He then assisted in organizing our team, gained access to three different schools, and led Saturday taster classes for students interested in learning to read their own language. This has led to another school opening where our team will visit weekly to teach Lawa literacy, and children can choose to study that subject.
Please pray for the Lawa team's teaching at Wang Kong* School on Wednesdays. This is a new school.
Continue to pray for the Bloks as they settle back in New Zealand and regain their normal rhythm of work and life. While Greg remains connected to the project, he works with his team on the Bible translation remotely.

공동의 목표와 동역을 통해 나오는 능력: 미주, 유럽
10월에, 영국, 미국, 캐나다, 네덜란드의 위클리프 단체의 사역자들을 돌보는 멤버케어 책임자들이 캘거리에서 모여 함께 기도하고, 배우고 서로의 이야기를 나누었습니다. 토론의 초점은 전 세계 성경 번역 운동에 참여하는 이들을 어떻게 더 잘 지원하고 격려할 수 있는가에 주제였습니다. 일주일 동안 참석자들은 앞으로의 사역들뿐만 아니라 함께 나누는 우정과 신앙을 통해 큰 영감을 받았습니다. 또한 이야기를 나누고 통찰을 공유하며 서로 간에 공통점이 많다는 것을 깨닫게 되었습니다. 각 단체는 각각 고유의 상황 가운데서 섬기지만, 모두가 부르심 안에서 풍성해지고 그리스도 안에서의 강해지기를 바라는 공통된 열망으로 하나로 연결되어 있습니다. 참가자들은 위클리프 국제 연대 내에서의 동역이 단순히 함께 일하는 것을 넘어 함께 존재하는 것임을 깨닫고, 우정과 신앙 속에서 공동체 자체가 하나님께서 우리 가운데 행하시는 일을 증언하는 도구임을 발견하게 되었습니다.
이러한 관계들이 국제 연대의 공동체 안에서 은혜와 지혜, 연합을 통해 계속해서 계속 성장하도록 기도해 주세요.

Strength in shared purpose and partnership: Americas, Europe
In October, leaders who care for and equip people in ministry from Wycliffe organizations in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, and the Netherlands gathered in Calgary to pray, learn, and listen together. Discussions focused on how they can better support and encourage those involved in global Bible translation efforts. Throughout the week, attendees felt inspired not only by the work that lies ahead but also by the friendship and faith they share. As they shared stories and insights, they realized how much they have in common. Each organization operates in a unique context, yet they are united by a common desire to see people flourish in their calling and to strengthen one another in Christ. Participants leave inspired by the truth that partnership across the Wycliffe Global Alliance is not just about working together but about being together. In friendship and faith, they are discovering that community itself serves as a witness to God’s work among us.
Pray that these relationships continue to grow in grace, wisdom, and unity throughout the Alliance community.

온라인 커뮤니티 구축: 글로벌
위클리프 국제 연대 커뮤니케이션 팀은 국제 연대내 커뮤니케이션 담당자들과 아이디어와 트렌드를 교류하기 위해 매달 ‘호기심 클럽’이라는 온라인 모임을 가지고 있습니다. 다루는 주제는 비영리 단체를 위한 소셜 미디어, 인공 지능 사용하기, 효과적인 인터뷰 진행법, 그리고 영상 제작 등이 포함되어 있습니다. 이 모임은 실질적인 훈련과 자원을 제공할 뿐만 아니라, 여러 다른 기관들과의 연결과 관계 형성의 기회도 제공합니다. 특히 많은 국제 연대 단체들이 소규모로 커뮤니케이션 팀을 운영하거나 해당 업무를 전담하는 사역자가 없는 상황에서, 전문성과 우정을 나누고 서로를 지지하는 통로 역할을 합니다. 이러한 연결과 통찰을 나눌 기회를 주신 하나님께 감사드리며,
모든 커뮤니케이션에 관여하는 일꾼들이, 전임이든 더 큰 역할의 일부이든, 성경 번역 운동에 참여하고 협력하며 기도하는 이들과 명확하고 창의적으로 소통할 수 있도록 하나님의 인도하심을 위해 기도해 주세요.

Building Community Online: Global
The Global Alliance Communications team hosts monthly online gatherings called ‘Curiosity Club’ to exchange ideas and trends with others involved in communication throughout the Alliance. Topics have included social media for nonprofits, an introduction to AI, conducting effective interviews, and video production. These online gatherings not only provide practical training and resources but also offer opportunities to connect and build relationships across different organizations. They serve as a way to share expertise and friendship and to support one another, especially since many Alliance Organizations have small communication teams or staff members who take on that responsibility as part of their full-time roles. Praise God for this opportunity to build connections and share insights.
Pray for God’s guidance for everyone involved in communication, whether full-time or as part of a larger role, so they can share clearly and creatively with those participating, partnering, and praying in Bible translation movements.

Please pray for the safety of our remote team members and for wisdom among the Safety and Security staff as they plan for long-term safety for all of our teams.
