대외협력팀과 개발팀의 연합 수련회
위클리프 캐나다 디아스포라팀이 속한 대외협력팀의 연합 수련회가 1월 26일(월)부터 29일(목)까지 캘거리 인근의 Sanctum Retreat Centre에서 3박 4일 동안 열립니다. 마태복음 13장의 씨뿌리는 비유를 중심 주제로 삼아, 캐나다 교회와 소통하는 스토리텔링의 창의적인 방안 등을 토의하며 각 사역팀 간의 협력과 교제를 통하여 함께 비전을 공유하고 팀원들의 재충전 기회를 도모하게 됩니다.
참여하는 이규준/한진숙, 랜달 마 선교사와 이번에 처음으로 중국인 사역팀을 대표해서 참가하는 Kathy Kwong 사역자를 위해, 사정상 온라인으로 참가하는 윤기태 선교사를 위해 기도해 주시고, 오가는 여행길과 모든 일정 위에 하나님의 은혜가 넘치도록 기도해 주세요.

External Engagement & Development Retreat
The External Engagement & Development Retreat for the team, including the Diaspora Team, will take place from Monday, January 26 to Thursday, January 29, lasting three nights and four days at the Sanctum Retreat Centre near Calgary. Centred on the parable of the Sower in Matthew 13, we will explore the theme and discuss creative storytelling approaches to engage the Canadian church. Through collaboration and fellowship among ministry teams, they will share a common vision and create opportunities for team members to recharge.
Please pray for Gyoojun, Jinsook, Randall, Kathy, who is participating for the first time, representing the Chinese ministry team, and Daniel who is participating online due to personal circumstances. Pray that God's grace may overflow over their travels and all their schedules.

위클리프 캐나다 계간지 '모든 언어로 성경을' (In Other Words) 2025년 가을호 한글판이 발행되었습니다. 팀원들의 헌신과 협력에 힘입어 좋은 내용이 담긴 계간지가 한글로 출판됨을 인하여 감사드립니다!
한인 동역자들의 페루 동부 아푸리멕 케추아 성경전서 봉헌식 참여 이야기, 최근 성경 번역 선교 사역의 특징, 아프리카 남부 단기선교에 다녀온 청년들의 이야기 등을 통해 하나님의 하시는 일과 쓰임받는 사람들의 이야기를 보시고 함께 기도해 주세요.

The Korean edition of the 2025 Fall issue of Wycliffe Canada's quarterly magazine ‘In Other Words’ has been published. We are thankful that this magazine, filled with valuable content, is now available in Korean thanks to the dedication and cooperation of our team members! Please join us in prayer as you read about God's work and the people He uses through stories such as Korean co-workers participating in the dedication ceremony for the complete Quechua Bible in Apurímac, eastern Peru; recent trends in Bible translation missions; and accounts from young people who recently returned from short-term missions in southern Africa.

북부 태국어(라나) 문해 및 성경 활용: 동남아시아
200명 이상의 학생들이 북부 태국어 성경으로 진행된 라나 행사에 참여했고, 100 명 넘게 자발적으로 요한복음 쪽성경을 받아 갔음에 감사드립니다!
사역팀은 학생들이 이해하기 쉬운 성경 구절을 선택하는데, 최근에는 창세기부터 모세와 홍해 이야기까지 구약 성경을 가르쳤습니다. 학생들은 성경 이야기들을 다시 전하는 데 열심인 것에 감사드립니다!
하나님께서 사역팀이 섬기는 학교 근처 지역 사회 내 한 주택으로 사역 센터를 이전할 수 있게 해주셔서 감사드립니다. 팀원들이 지역 사회와 좋은 유대 관계를 잘 형성해 가고 있는데, 그 관계가 더욱 깊어지도록 기도해 주시고, 다음 기도 제목들을 위해 함께 손모아 주세요.
- 오이 사역자가 프라이 유치원 교사들을 위한 교사 연수 워크숍을 잘 준비할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.
- 또한 팀이 새로 문을 연 라나 센터에서 지역 주민들을 대상으로 3일간의 집중 성인 교육을 잘 진행할 수 있도록,
- 자자의 인턴십이 곧 마무리됩니다. 그녀는 인턴십 종료 후 함께 섬길 사역 단체를 위해 주님의 인도하심을 구하고 있습니다. 그녀가 다음 단계를 잘 결정할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Northern Thai (Lanna) Literacy and Scripture Use: Southeast Asia
We are thankful that over 200 students have participated in Lanna events that use the Northern Thai Bible and well over 100 students have voluntarily taken copies of the book of John.
The team chooses Bible verses that students can easily understand. Recently, they taught Old Testament stories from Creation to the story of Moses and the Red Sea. We are very thankful that the students are excited to retell the stories.
God opened the door for the team to relocate their workplace to a house in the community, near the schools they serve. They are building good relationships with the community there, and ask your prayer that this will get deeper and pray with us for the following prayer items.
- Please pray for Oi, the project leader, to prepare a Teacher Training workshop for Prai preschool teachers.
- Pray also for the team to conduct an intensive three-day adult class for community members at the new Lanna Center.
- JaJa’s internship will conclude soon. She is seeking guidance from the Lord for a group to serve with after she finishes. Pray for her as she determines her next steps.

좋은 관계와 진정한 우정: 남아프리카공화국
위클리프 남아프리카공화국은 공동체, 관계, 그리고 진정한 우정을 소중히 여깁니다. 진정성 있는 관계와 지역 공동체는 위클리프 남아공의 두 가지 핵심 원칙으로, 사역자들은 이 원칙들을 일상에서 실천하고자 노력합니다. 그들은 개인적인 기도 제목을 나누고 삶의 순간들을 함께 축하하며 서로를 응원합니다.
감사하게도 다른 성경 번역 단체들과의 견고한 협력 관계를 구축하는 일의 중요성도 잘 인식하고 있습니다. 예를 들어, 위클리프 남아공의 모든 사역자가 남아공의 “세상을 위한 말씀” 단체를 방문했고 이후 이 기관의 사역자들 또한 위클리프 남아공의 창립 기념 희년 행사에 참여했습니다. 또한 위클리프 남아공이 최근 한 고등학교에서 가진 전도 행사를 통해 비블리카 단체가 학생들에게 배포할 성경을 넉넉히 후원해 주었습니다.
위클리프 남아공은 사역하는 공동체 안에 있는 개인들의 존엄성을 존중하고 귀히 여기며, 상호 참여를 통해 지역사회를 섬기고 서로의 역량을 강화하는 데 헌신하고 있습니다.

Good Relationships and Genuine Friendship: South Africa
Wycliffe South Africa (WSA) values community, relationships, and genuine friendship. Authentic connections and local community are two core WSA principles that staff strive to exemplify daily. They support each other by sharing personal prayer requests and celebrating life together.
Gratefully, we also acknowledge the importance of building strong partnerships with other Bible translation organizations. For example, their entire team visited The Word for the World in South Africa, and the staff of The Word for the World later participated in WSA's jubilee anniversary celebrations. Additionally, WSA recently held an outreach at a high school, where Biblica generously supplied Bibles for students to receive. WSA respects and values the dignity of the individuals within the communities they serve and is committed to serving and empowering communities through mutual participation.

우정을 통해 선교의 인식을 일깨우는 행사: 루마니아
작년 11월 15일, 위클리프 루마니아는 오라데아 지역의 교회들과 성도들 가운데 선교에 대한 인식을 높이고 선교적 헌신과 기도를 격려하기 위해 ‘열방을 향한 발걸음‘행사를 개최했습니다. 위클리프의 소규모 팀은 행사를 준비하며 처음에는 참석자를 위해 기도하는 데 집중했는데 하나님께서 오라데아의 복음주의 공동체에 다가가기 위한 그들의 노력을 지원해 주고 도와준 든든한 친구 공동체를 예비해 주셔서, 이 경험이 함께 참석한 모든 이들에게 기억에 남는 시간이 되었음을 감사드립니다.
위클리프 사역자들은 오랜 동역자인 동유럽성서대학의 협력으로 당일 행사를 위한 모든 시설을 무료로 제공받을 수 있었습니다. 또한 지역 선교 단체인 ’그리스도를 위한 청소년‘을 통해 많은 자원봉사자를 동원했습니다. 한 자원봉사자는 교회 내 지인들을 통해 예배 팀을 동원하고 모든 기술적인 준비 작업을 무료로 해주었습니다. 이 행사는 기대를 뛰어넘는 성과를 거두었고, 위클리프 사역자들은 오래된 우정과 새로 맺은 인연 모두를 가진 자신들이 얼마나 큰 복을 받았는지 깨달았습니다.

Friendships Drive Mission Awareness Event: Romania
On 15 November, Wycliffe Romania hosted ‘Steps Towards the Nations’, an event designed to inspire mission efforts and prayer while raising awareness among churches and believers in Oradea. As the small team from Wycliffe Romania prepared for the event, they initially concentrated on praying for attendance. They thank God for surprising them with a supportive community of friends who joined their efforts to reach out to the evangelical community in Oradea, making the experience memorable for everyone involved.
Wycliffe Romania staff worked with longtime friends at the Eastern European Bible College (CBEE), who kindly offered their facilities for the day at no cost. They also enlisted many volunteers through their connection with Youth for Christ, a local mission organization. One volunteer coordinated the worship team and handled all technical arrangements through his friends at the church, again at no expense. The event surpassed everyone’s expectations, and Wycliffe Romania staff acknowledged how fortunate they are to have these friendships, both old and new.

지난주 파푸아뉴기니에서 토니 사역자와 미국 복음주의 기독교 방송인 CBN 기자 간의 훌륭한 인터뷰 가진 것을 인하여 감사드립니다. 잘스 사역에 관해 매우 긍정적인 보도가 초봄에 방송 예정인데 위하여 기도해 주세요.

Weekly prayer with JAARS
Pray for safety and successful training at various motorcycle events planned in Cameroon.
Praise God for the arrival and settling in of the Aviation Apprentices this past week. Pray for effective teaching and learning for them as they begin a new, updated weekly discipleship time this week.
Praise God for the great interaction between Tony K and the CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network) reporter in PNG last week. Pray that the outcome will be a very positive story on JAARS' work to be broadcast in early spring.
