위클리프 세계 기도의 날
위클리프는 매년 11월 전 세계적으로 성경 없는 부족들을 위한 기도의 날로 정하여 기도하고 있습니다. 올해 기도 행사는 줌을 통하여 온라인으로 진행되며, 자매단체인 원북 및 캔아이엘과 함께합니다. 11월 12일(수요일) 오전 8시(밴쿠버) / 오전 9시(캘거리) / 오전 11시(토론토)에 온라인으로 참여하거나 위클리프 캐나다 사역자들은 캘거리 본부 타운센드 룸에서 직접 참여할 수 있습니다.
“하나님의 영광을 선포하라”는 주제로 진행되는 이번 기도회를 통하여 성경 번역 사역이 계속 확장되도록 함께 기도해 주시기 바랍니다.

Wycliffe World Day of Prayer
Wycliffe annually observes the World Day of Prayer, which is traditionally held in November. This year, the prayer event will be online via Zoom, along with OneBook and CanIL, or Wycliffe staff can participate in person together in the Townsend Room at the Wycliffe Canada (Calgary) Office on Wednesday, November 12, at 8 am PT(Vancouver) / 9 am MT(Calgary) / 11 am ET(Toronto).
Please pray for the World Day of Prayer for Bible Translation. This event is on the theme of “Declare the Glory of God” and pray for Bible translation worldwide.

한국성경번역선교회 40주년 기념
"말씀 따라 40년, 변함 없는 사명"이란 주제로 한국성경번역선교회(GBT)에서 11월 10-11일에 40주년 기념식을 갖습니다. 선교사들과 자녀들의 미술 작품 전시 및 작곡 음악 앨범 발표회, 현지인 사역자들의 간증 등 다양한 행사를 통해 성경번역 선교에 순종하여 걸어온 지난 40 년을 뒤돌아보고 감사하는 시간을 갖습니다. 위클리프 캐나다에서는 수석부대표 중 한사람인 존 츄 선교사와 이규준 선교사가 함께 참여하여 축하드리며, 앞으로의 더 나은 협력을 모색합니다.
하나님께서 영광 받으시고, 계속해서 성경번역 선교를 통한 변혁의 사역을 통해 모든 성경이 필요한 많은 민족을 섬기는 복된 GBT의 사역이 이어지게 기도해 주세요.

40th Anniversary of GBT (Wycliffe Korea)
Global Bible Translators (GBT) will hold its 40th anniversary celebration under the theme “Following God's Word for 40 Years, Faithful to the Calling,” November 10-11. Through various events—including an art exhibition by missionaries and their children, a concert featuring an album of original compositions written and sung by them, and testimonies from local Bible translators—we will reflect on and give thanks for the past 40 years spent walking in obedience to the mission of Bible translation. Wycliffe Canada will participate in the celebration with Missionary John Chu, one of the Senior VPs and Gyoojun Lee, Diaspora Engagement Director, seeking ways to enhance future collaboration.
Please pray that God will be glorified and that GBT's blessed ministry of serving many nations in need of the full Scriptures through transformative Bible translation missions will continue.

아이디아 프로젝트: 페루 / 남부 파스타자 케추아어
번역팀 요나스의 간증입니다. "저에게 이 일은 단순한 직업이 아니라, 우리 지역의 더 많은 가정에 우리 언어로 하나님의 말씀을 전할 수 있게 하는 깊은 소명입니다. 우리 공동체에 다가가 하나님의 말씀을 나누기 위해 팀원들이 기울이는 엄청난 노력도 잘 알고 있습니다. 그러므로 남부 파스타자에서 하나님이 이루시는 일에 동참하며 섬길 수 있다는 것은 우리에게 진정한 특권입니다." 다가오는 남부 파스타자 프로젝트 목표를 위해 기도해 주세요:
고린도전서 초벌 번역, 로마서 팀 점검 작업, 사도행전에 대한 원어민 점검, 사도행전에 대한 주석 작업. 그리고 번역팀 전체의 건강과 지혜, 강건함을 위해 기도해 주세요. 하나님께서 그들의 모든 사역 단계에서 인도하시고, 성령님의 인도 아래 항상 소명을 잊지 않도록 기도해 주세요.
현지인 번역가들의 가족들을 간절히 지켜주시고, 계속해서 번역가들에게 가장 큰 정서적·영적 지지자가 되게 하소서. 그들이 하나 됨과 격려 속에서 살며, 자신들이 참여하고 있는 이 사역의 변화시키는 영향력을 잘 깨닫도록 기도해 주세요.

AIDIA project: Peru / Southern Pastaza Quechua
Reflection from Jonas on the translation team: "For me, it is not just a job, but a calling that allows me to bring the Word of God in our language to more families in our region. We know the tremendous effort the team also makes to reach our community and share the Word of God. Therefore, it is a privilege to serve and be part of what God is doing here in Southern Pastaza." Please pray for the upcoming Southern Pastaza project goals:
moving forward with the draft of 1 Corinthians, continuing the team check of Romans, the native speaker review of Acts, and the incorporation of notes from Acts. Pray for the health, wisdom, and strength of the entire team of translators. May God guide them in every step of their work and keep them steadfast in their calling, always under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Earnestly pray for the translators’ families, that they may continue to be their greatest emotional and spiritual support. May they live in unity and encouragement, understanding the transformative impact of the work they are part of.

Streams of Prayer 위클리프 국제 연대 주간 기도제목

진행중인 두 번역 프로젝트: 파푸아뉴기니, 폴란드, 그리고 아시아
위클리프 폴란드가 아시아에서 구약 성경을 K* 어로 번역할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 번역팀은 현재 출애굽기 프로젝트를 진행하고 있습니다. 번역 과정에서 팀원들 간의 원활한 온라인 소통과 고령의 번역자들의 건강과 힘을 위해 기도해 주세요.
또한 파푸아뉴기니에서 진행 중인 세이마트 번역 프로젝트에서 계속되고 있는 구약 성경 번역(현재 스가랴 서)이 잘 이뤄지고, 주해를 돕는 사역자의 건강을 위해 특별히 기도해 주세요.

Two translations are underway: Papua New Guinea, Poland, and Asia.
Wycliffe Poland requests prayer for the two translation projects undergoing in Asia.
Please pray for the Old Testament translation into the K language*. The team is currently working on the Exodus. Please pray for successful online communication among the team during the translation process, as well as for the strength and health of the elderly translators.
Pray also for the Seimat translation project in Papua New Guinea. The ongoing needs include translating the Old Testament (currently Zechariah) and the well-being of the exegetical advisor. *Pseudonym

성경 번역의 영향력 확대: 중앙아프리카공화국
중앙아프리카 성경 번역 및 문해 협회와 중앙아프리카 공화국의 교회들은 구약 성경을 비안다, 보코토, 반다린다의 세 개의 언어로, 신약 성경을 15개 언어로 번역하는 작업을 주관하고 있습니다. 이 번역 프로그램들은 문해 사역을을 핵심 요소로 포함하며 세 가지 구전 성경 번역이 진행 중이며, 협회는 성경 이야기 구연 사역을 전략으로 활용하고 있습니다.
이 성경 번역 프로그램들이 교회와 중앙아프리카 공화국에 미친 영향력을 인하여 하나님께 감사드립니다. 실제로 하나님의 말씀이 현지 언어로 번역됨으로써 중앙아프리카공화국 교회는 수적으로 성장하고 영적으로 더욱 깊어졌습니다. 성경 외에도, 예수 영화와 교회들이 전도 사역에 활용하는 여러가지 전도지들과 같은 자료들도 번역되었습니다.
번역된 자료를 효과적으로 활용하므로 개인과 공동체에 변화를 가져오게되는 교회들을 인하여 하나님께 감사드리며, 금년중 예정된 보코토, 반다린다, 음피에모 부족어 신약성경 봉헌식이 순조롭게 진행되도록 기도해 주세요.

Bible translation impact increases: Central African Republic
ACATBA (Central African Association for Bible Translation and Literacy) and churches in the Central African Republic (CAR) are coordinating the translation of the Old Testament into three languages—Bhianda, Bhokoto, and Banda Linda—and the New Testament into 15 languages. These programs also incorporate literacy as a core element. There are three oral Bible translation projects, and ACATBA uses oral Bible storying as a strategy.
Thank God for the positive influence of these Bible translation programs in churches and the nation. Indeed, God’s Word translated into local languages has helped the church in CAR grow both in numbers and spiritual depth. Translation resources include the JESUS film and other literature that churches use in their evangelism efforts.
Thank God for the churches that are effectively utilizing translated resources to bring transformation to individuals and communities across the country. Pray for the successful distribution of the New Testaments in Bhokoto, Banda Linda, and M'piémo this year.

사마리안퍼스에서 기증받은 세스나 카라반 비행기를 인해 감사드립니다. 이 비행기를 너무나 필요로 하는 인도네시아로 보낼 예정입니다. 인도네이아 정부의 협조와 순조로운 세관 통과 절차와 면세 혜택도 받을 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.
We are deeply grateful for the Cessna Caravan aircraft donated by Samaritan's Purse. JAARS is planning to send this aircraft to Indonesia, where it is desperately needed. Please pray for the cooperation of the Indonesian government, smooth customs clearance procedures, and the granting of tax exemptions.
