알버트/마르다(이삭, 모세) 선교사: 위클리프 대만 대표, 보안국 지역 책임자
따이루거 민족의 오디오 성경 녹음 사역을 위해 기도해주셔서 감사합니다! 알버트 선교사가 지난 5월 5일 대만성서공회와 FCBH 리더들과 함께 화리엔 지역을 방문하여 타이루거 교회 지도자들을 만났습니다. 신약 성경 개정의 필요가 제기된 바 있었는데, 개정 작업에는 오랜 시간이 걸리기에 먼저 오디오 성경을 제작해놓고 그 후에 개정 작업을 진행하는 쪽으로 논의가 진행되었습니다. 교회 지도자들은 가능하다면 내년 초에 시작하기를 원하고 있으며, 판권을 갖고 있는 대만성서공회와 필요한 절차를 더 논의하기로 했습니다. 모든 절차가 원만하게 이뤄지도록 기도해 주세요.

Albert and Martha (Isaac, Moses): Director of Wycliffe Taiwan and Language Program Manager for a sensitive area, respectively
Thank you for praying for the audio Bible recording for the Taroko people in Taiwan! On May 5, Albert visited the Hualien county with leaders from the Taiwan Bible Society and FCBH to meet with Taroko church leaders. While the need for a revised New Testament had been raised, discussions focused on producing the audio Bible first and then proceeding with the revision, as the revision process would take a long time. The church leaders hope to begin early next year if possible, and have agreed to discuss the necessary procedures further with the Taiwan Bible Society, which holds the copyright. Please pray that all procedures will proceed smoothly.

현지인 성경번역 팀이 한 마음이 되어 사역에 임함으로 좋은 성과를 올리고 있으며, 현지 교회(성 마태 성공회 교회)와 공동체가 한 마음과 비전을 품고 말씀으로 영혼들을 찾아가고 있음에 감사드리고, 또한 이본과 같은 젊은 사역자가 신실하게 헌신하고 있음에도 감사드립니다! 현지인 교회가 창의적인 방법으로 말씀을 나누도록, 또한 계속해서 말씀의 능력이 공동체 구성원들을 삶을 변혁시키시도록 기도해 주세요.

We are grateful that the local Bible translation team is achieving great results by working together with one heart, and that the local church(St. Matthew's Anglican Church) and the community are reaching out to souls with the translated Word, united in purpose and vision. We are also thankful for a young translator like Yvonne, who are faithfully dedicating herself to the ministry. Please pray that the local church will share the Word in creative ways, and that the power of the Word will continue to transform the lives of community members.

선교 및 성경 번역을 위한 파이 경매: 캐나다, 전 세계
지난 3월, 위클리프국제연대 동역단체인 '원북'의 대표인 파멜라 선교사가 캐나다 위니펙에 있는 한 교회를 방문하여 감동적인 나눔의 현장을 목격했습니다. 20여 년 전, ‘록’ 교회가 선교 기금을 마련하기 위해 ‘파이 경매’를 시작했는데, 처음에는 교회 성도들이 직접 파이를 구워 교회에서 경매로 판매하는 소규모 행사로 시작되었습니다. 모든 수익금은 해외 선교를 지원하는 데 사용되었습니다. 작년, 이 교회는 파이, 케이크 및 기타 기부된 디저트를 경매하여 75만 달러를 모금했으며, 일부 품목은 수천 달러에 낙찰되기도 했습니다. 교회는 모금된 전액을 100% 매칭 펀드로 조성하여 총 150만 달러를 성경 번역 선교에 헌금하였습니다! 이 기금의 상당 부분은 11개의 성경 번역 프로젝트에 배정되었고, 원북은 이 중 9개 프로젝트의 파트너가 되었습니다.

Pie auction for missions and Bible translation: Canada, Global
In March, Pamela Shaw, CEO of Alliance partner OneBook, witnessed inspiring generosity during a visit to a church in Winnipeg, Canada. More than 20 years ago, Church of the Rock began hosting a Pie Auction to raise funds for missions. It started small, with church members baking pies to sell at the auction. All proceeds were designated to support overseas mission projects. In 2025, the church raised $750,000 by auctioning pies, cakes and other donated desserts, with some fetching thousands of dollars. The church matched all funds at 100 percent, so $1.5 million went to missions! A significant share of those funds was allocated to 11 Bible translation projects. OneBook is a partner in nine of these initiatives.

Specialty services:Spain, Equatorial Guinea
PROEL members include four consultants serving in translation, linguistics, sociolinguistics, and anthropology. They provide consulting services for the Catalan Sign Language and Spanish Sign Language New Testament projects, and some Old Testament consulting for the Fa d´Ambu project of Equatorial Guinea.
- Pray for the completion and publication of the Catalan and Spanish Sign Language New Testaments by the end of 2026
- Pray that Fa d´Ambu speakers will be blessed by the new Seven Days of Creation video being published in their language
- Pray that people in all three of these language communities will be transformed as they encounter God through his Word translated into their languages
