교회와 동역자 여러분의 계속되는 협력과 후원으로 윤 선교사가 인사부의 멤버 및 자원봉사 허입 사역을 섬기고, 디아스포라 팀에서는 기도 소식지 등 무대 뒤에서의 동원 사역에 힘쓰고 있음에 감사드립니다!
윤 선교사 내외는 지난 3월부터 6월까지 치과 진료와 병 치료중인 가족들과의 만남, 후원교회 방문 등 다양한 목적으로 한국을 방문하고 돌아왔습니다.
영어 프로그램에 참가했던 사역자들과의 모임에서 그 동안 원격으로는 충분히 나누지 못했던 소감들을 대면하여 나누면서 서로간에 큰 격려와 감사를 나누는 귀한 시간이었고, 식사 친교등 큰 환대를 받아 하나님을 찬송합니다.

Daniel (/Helen) Yoon: Engagement & Application Advisor for Korean Diaspora
We are grateful for the continued cooperation and support from the church and our fellow workers, which enables Daniel to serve as a member and volunteer in the HR Department, while working diligently behind the scenes on mobilization efforts, including editing Weekly Prayer Bulletins and sharing them on social media, for the Korean Diaspora Engagement team.
Daniel and Helen recently returned from a multi-purpose visit to Korea for three months, during which they had dental care, reunited with family members undergoing medical treatment, and visited their supporting churches. It was a pleasure to help with the English tutoring program in Korea for the staff of the Global Bible Translators (GBT), which Daniel coordinated.
The highlight of the visit to Korea was the day the Yoons visited the GBT office. At a gathering with the GBT workers who had participated in the English tutoring program, it was a precious opportunity to share reflections in person—things we hadn’t been able to discuss fully online—and to offer one another encouragement and gratitude. Praise God for the warm hospitality the Yoons received, including the meal and fellowship.
- Please continue to pray that, through Daniel Yoon’s ministry and service, Bible translation missions will expand and that the ministry of partnership with the Korean Diaspora team will be enriched.

아이디아-파스타자 케추아: 페루
아이디아 프로젝트 책임자인 루이스 목사는 지난 1월 남부 정글지역인 알리안자 크리스티아나 지역을 방문한 단기 사역의 성공적인 결과를 보고했습니다. 이번 방문으로 40명 이상의 지역 공동체 지도자들을 격려하고, 교사, 청소년, 어린이들과 교제의 시간을 갖는 등 큰 축복의 시간이었습니다. 여행 기간 동안 6개 공동체에서 온 주일학교 교사 10명이 훈련을 받았으며, 아반카이에서 온 자원봉사자들의 헌신으로 80명의 어린이를 대상으로한 신약 성경 이야기를 기반으로 한 학습 세션도 가졌습니다. 그러나, 숙소를 못 구해 강둑에서 하룻밤을 노숙해야 했던 일이나 로보야쿠에서 예상치 못한 지연과 같은 어려운 이동 상황에도 불구하고, 사역 팀은 현지 주민들의 환대를 통해 하나님의 보호하심과 기적적인 공급을 경험했습니다.
- 남부 파스타자 케추아어 성경 번역의 진전—마태복음부터 고린도후서까지의 초벌 번역, 팀 점검 및 현지 마을 점검을 잘 마친 것을 인하여 하나님을 찬양합니다.
- 또한 마가복음이 마을 점검과 팀 점검, 잘 마친 것을 하나님께 찬양합니다. 팀은 현재 마가복음 역번역 작업의 절반을 마쳤는데, 이는 자문위원 점검 일정을 잡고 마을 공동체를 위한 초안을 인쇄하기 전 마지막 단계입니다.

AIDIA-Pastaza Quechua: Perú
Luis Cervantes, Director of AIDIA, shared a report on a successful ministry trip to the community of Alianza Cristiana in January. The trip brought great blessings, strengthening over 40 community leaders and providing fellowship with teachers, youth, and children. During the event, 10 Sunday school teachers from 6 communities received training, and teaching sessions based on New Testament stories were held for 80 children, with support from volunteers from Abancay. Despite facing challenging travel logistics—such as spending an overnight wait by a riverbank and unexpected delays in Loboyacu—the team experienced God’s protection and miraculous provision through local hospitality.
- Praise God for the recent translation progress in Southern Pastaza Quechua - for the first draft, team check and local speaker check of Matthew through to 2 Corinthians.
- And praise God that the gospel of Mark has been village-checked and team-checked. The team is halfway through the back translation of Mark, and this is the last step before they can schedule a consultant check and print drafts for the community.

아프리카에서의 하나님의 선교: “아직도 해야 할 일이 많습니다”
카메룬 야운데에서 열린 위클리프 국제연대 아프리카 지역 모임에서는 세계 선교를 향한 아프리카 교회의 역할을 주제로 패널 토의가 진행되었습니다. 참석자들은 아프리카 교회가 직면한 과제와 함께, 하나님께서 이루고 계신 소망의 열매들을 함께 나누었습니다. 아벨 목사는 아프리카 교회가 영적으로는 깨어 있지만, 아직 미전도 지역을 향한 직접적인 선교에는 충분히 헌신하지 못하고 있다고 말했습니다. 그는 대형 교회 건축에 집중하기보다 미전도 종족을 향한 선교와 성경 번역 사역에 더욱 관심을 기울여야 하며, 무엇보다 지역 교회가 선교를 재정적으로도 책임감 있게 감당해야 한다고 강조했습니다. 실제로 일부 교회에서는 매년 성경 번역 사역을 위한 특별 헌금을 드리며 선교에 동참하고 있습니다.
또한 가말닥 목사는 카메룬 모푸 구두르 공동체의 사례를 통해 모국어 사역이 가져온 놀라운 변화를 소개했습니다. 모국어 문해 교육은 더 많은 사람들이 고등교육의 기회를 얻도록 도왔을 뿐 아니라, 250명이 넘는 문해 교사들이 지역사회에서 소득 창출 프로젝트를 시작하도록 이끌어 공동체의 자립에도 큰 힘이 되었다고했고, 모푸 구두르어 성경에 대한 높은 관심과 수요는 놀라운 열매로 이어졌습니다. 신약성경이 빠르게 모두 보급된 데 이어, 2026년 5월에는 구약성경 봉헌식도 은혜 가운데 마쳤습니다.
이번 나눔을 통해 참석자들은 성경 번역이 단순히 언어를 옮기는 학문적 작업이 아니라는 사실을 다시 확인했습니다. 지역 교회가 하나님의 말씀을 자신의 사명으로 받아들이고 적극적으로 참여할 때, 말씀은 공동체를 변화시키고, 자립을 이루며, 성도들의 영적 성숙을 이끄는 하나님의 능력이 됩니다.

God’s Mission in Africa: ‘There is still much to do’
At the Wycliffe Global Alliance Africa Area Gathering in Yaoundé, a panel addressed the African Church's role in global mission, highlighting structural challenges and local breakthroughs. Rev. Abel Chebe Ngah argued that although the African Church is spiritually awake, it remains largely inactive in direct evangelism, often prioritizing megachurch construction over work in unreached areas. He emphasized the need for local financial ownership and intentional missionary sending, citing annual church collections for Bible translation as a model.
Pastor Alphonse Gamaldak illustrated the impact of local-language ministry through the Mofu Gudur community in Cameroon. Native-language literacy not only opened doors to higher education but also empowered more than 250 literacy teachers to launch income-generating community projects. The high demand for the Mofu Gudur Scriptures prompted the Old Testament dedication in May 2026, following the New Testament's rapid sell-out. Ultimately, the panel highlighted that Bible translation extends beyond academic work. When local churches actively take ownership of Scripture engagement, this ownership drives holistic community development, financial independence, and spiritual maturity across Africa.
