알버트/마르다 (이삭, 모세) 선교사: 위클리프 대만 대표, 보안국 지역 책임자 및 멤버 캐어
싸이더커(Sediq, 賽德克族) 민족의 오디오 성경 녹음 사역이 지난 11월에 태풍, 산사태와 정전등의 여러움 속에서도 잘 마칠 수 있었음에 감사드립니다. 오디오 성경 앱 출판이 협력 단체(FCBH)의 재정 문제로 오래 지연될 것 같은데, 속히 진행될 수 있도록 기도해주세요. 작년 말 연례총회와 이사회에서 중동지역 난민 사역에 대해 재미 화교 선교단체와 협력하는 안건이 이사회의 비준을 얻었습니다. 난민 사역을 섬겨줄 사역자를 보내주시도록 기도해 주세요. 기도해 주셔서 마르다 선교사의 장염증상이 잘 치료되고 있고, 큰아들 이삭이 대입시험 잘 치렀음에 감사드립니다. 마르다의 완치와 이삭의 입학과정을 위해 계속 기도해주세요.

Albert and Martha (Isaac, Moses): Director of Wycliffe Taiwan and Regional director & member care of a sensitive area, respectively
We thank God the Sediq minority's audio Bible recording project was completed successfully in November despite typhoons, landslides, and power outages. The audio Bible app will have to wait slightly longer due to financial issues at the partner organization (FCBH). Please pray that it will be expedited by God's provision of the necessary funds. At the end of last year's annual general meeting and board meeting, Albert received the board's approval for a proposal to cooperate with a Chinese American missionary organization in the Middle East refugee ministry. Please pray for God to send workers to serve in the refugee ministry that will soon begin. We are thankful for your prayers as Martha's intestinal infection is healing well and her oldest son, Isaac, did well on his college entrance exams. Please pray for Martha's healing and Isaac's college admissions process.

지난 주에 새로운 중국인 기도 코디 자원봉사자의 오리엔테이션을 잘 마쳤고, 이를 통해 네트워킹 기회도 생겼음에 감사드립니다! 기도를 활발한 통한 동역이 지속될 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 이번 주에 캘거리에서 열리는 대외협력부서 전체 수련회를 통해 더 나은 전체 부서간 팀웍과 협력의 결과가 있도록 기도해 주시고, 이 선교사는 주일에 캘거리영락교회에서 말씀을 나눕니다. 새로운 협력관계가 잘 발전될 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Korean Diaspora Engagement team
We are thankful for a great orientation for our new Chinese Prayer Coordinator volunteer last week, and also for the networking opportunities with a couple of Chinese churches that will be provided as a result! Pray for continued partnership through prayer. Pray for better cross-departmental teamwork and collaboration of the External Engagement team as a result of the whole department's retreat in Calgary this week. Pray also for Gyoojun as he will preach at Calgary Young-Nak Presbyterian Church on Sunday. Pray that new partnerships will develop well.

지난 월요일에 이어 1/27(월) 저녁에 인터페이스가 열립니다. 보안지역선교사들과 토론토참소망교회 목회자들이 참석하고 있는데, 하나님이 본래 세우신 교회의 선교적 정체성과 사명을 바로 인식하고 참가자들의 목회/선교사역에 기초원리로 자리잡게 되도록 기도해 주세요! SM(심플리 모빌라이징)에서 인터페이스 세미나에 이어 '인터페이스 웍샵'도 개발했고 곧 파일럿 프로그램을 진행할 예정입니다. 더 나은 프로그램으로 교회의 선교적 교회로의 전환을 잘 도울 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Following up on the first-day sessions last Monday, we will have the second half of the Interface Seminar on Monday evening, Jan 27. Pastors from the Security Region and Toronto True Hope Church are attending, pray that the missional identity and mission of the church as God originally established it will be recognized and become a foundational principle in the pastoral/missionary work of the participants! Following the Interface seminar, Simply Mobilizing has also developed an Interface Workshop and will be piloting it soon. Pray that the program will be better able to help churches transition to a missional one.

크리 원주민 성경 번역 운동: 나스카피 프로젝트
나스카피 팀은 현재 사사기, 느헤미야, 신명기, 요나서, 룻기 등 구약 성경의 여러 권을 번역하는 작업을 진행하고 있습니다. 카와와치카맠 나스카피 공동체의 현지인 모어 번역가 다섯사람을 위해 기도해 주세요; 1996년부터 팀에 몸담고 있는 실라스. 그의 아내 수잔은 나스카피 학교에서 은퇴한 교사입니다. 루비는 나스카피 개발공사에서 행정 담당관으로 근무하던 은퇴자입니다. 마리안은 현재 나스카피개발공사의 언어/문화 담당 책임자입니다. 크리스티나는 나스카피 학교의 현직 교사입니다. 프로젝트 팀원들과 이들의 헌신적인 사역을 위하여 계속 기도해 주세요.

Cree initiative: Naskapi Project
The Naskapi team is currently working through the translation steps of several Old Testament books, including Judges, Nehemiah, Deuteronomy Jonah, and Ruth. Please pray for these five committed mother-tongue translators from the Naskapi community of Kawawachikamach: Silas, who has been on the team since 1996. His wife Susan, is a retired teacher from the Naskapi School. Ruby, the former (retired) administrator with the Naskapi Development Corporation (NDC). Marianne, the current NDC Language and Culture department head. Christina, a teacher at the Naskapi school. Please continue to pray for team members and their amazing ministries.

주석가들과 자문 위원들의 공동체: 파라과이
하나님께서 레트라 파라과이(현지 성경번역단체)의 주석가 및 번역 자문위원 그룹을 축복하셨습니다. 주부, 목회자, 신학교 교수, 신학생, 헬라어와 히브리어 전문가, 선교사를 포함한 40명의 자원봉사자들이 성경 번역의 수정 작업과 승인에 귀한 기여를 하게 될 주석 (성경 해석) 작업을 훌륭하게 수행하고 전념할 수 있도록 공동체를 형성했습니다. 감사하게도 레트라 파라과이는 이러한 노력의 결실로 현재 3명의 공인 번역 자문의원들과 4명의 자문위원 훈련생들이 있습니다. 이 40명의 주석가들이 파라과이, 멕시코, 콜롬비아, 베네수엘라, 페루의 언어 공동체들의 번역 프로젝트들을 지원합니다. 이 자원봉사자들을 위해, 이들의 우정과 모든 작업 단계에서 하나님께 힘을 얻고 주의 인도하심을 위하여 함께 기도해 주세요. 이들의 주석적 번역이 성경 본래의 메시지를 충실하게 반영함으로 번역 팀이 자연스럽게 되도록 도와주시도록, 번역된 말씀이 삶을 변화시키고, 마음을 회복시키며, 우정의 유대를 강화하는 동시에 하나님께 영광을 돌릴 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Community of exegetes and consultants: Paraguay
God has blessed a group of exegetes and consultants of LETRA Paraguay. Forty volunteers – among them homemakers, pastors, seminary professors, seminarians, experts in Greek and Hebrew, and missionaries – have formed a community dedicated to carrying out with excellence the task of exegesis (interpretation of Scripture), an invaluable contribution to the revision and approval of Bible translations. Thank God LETRA Paraguay has seen the fruits of this effort and now has three certified consultants and four more in training. These 40 exegetes support translation projects among Paraguay, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, and Peru linguistic communities. Pray for these volunteers, that they may be strengthened and guided by God in friendship and at every stage of their work. May their exegetical interpretations faithfully reflect the original message of the Scriptures, assisting translation teams in adapting their translations to their languages in a natural way. Pray that the translated Word will transform lives, restore hearts, and strengthen bonds of friendship while bringing glory to God.

성경 번역 파트너십: 파푸아뉴기니, 일본, 한국
파푸아뉴기니의 메라메라와 우아레 언어 공동체는 작년 4월과 9월에 각 각 신약성경을 봉헌했습니다. 이 이정표를 달성하기 위해 위클리프 일본과 한국성경번역선교회의 사역자들이 이 언어 공동체들과 함께 동역할 수 있었음을 인하여 찬양을 드립니다. 협력한 모든기관들이 좋은 관계를 맺고 동역하게 하신 하나님께 감사드립니다. 주께서 이 공동체들이 번역된 성경을 잘 활용하여 주께서 이들 공동체가운데 영적 부흥을 이루어 주시도록 기도해 주세요.

Partnership in Bible translation: Papua New Guinea(PNG), Japan, Korea
The Meramera and Uare language communities in PNG received their New Testaments in April and September last year. Praise the Lord for the combined efforts of personnel from Wycliffe Japan and Global Bible Translators in Korea with these language communities to achieve this milestone. Thank the Lord for good relationships and partnership among all involved. Ask the Lord to bless these language communities as they engage with the Scriptures, and that God will bring about revival in their midst..

JAARS Sea Operations
In parts of Africa, South America, and the Pacific, boats are the best—or sometimes the only way—to reach a remote village. But the trip can be harrowing: crowding onto rundown ships, often with no safety equipment, and plying rough waters far from any hope of help if something goes wrong. JAARS provides coastal communities with specialized vessels, including outfitting, delivery, and repair, as well as logistical and financial support for boat programs, safety equipment, signaling devices, emergency satellite beacons, and water safety training. Please pray that JAARS’s sea operation team may serve as the best support teamwork.
