북미 한인 카이로스코스 조력자 훈련이 2월 8, 15일에 온라인으로 진행되었고, 2월 17일에는 대면으로 워싱턴 DC 근교 열린문교회에서 진행됩니다. 폭설로 인해 여행 일정을 재조정했는데, 건강과 여행의 안전, 그리고 풍성한 사역을 위해, 캐나다에서 참여하는 두 명의 책임 조력자 후보가 열정을 가지고 교회 선교 동원에 동역하고 있는데, 이번 훈련을 통해 더욱 더 활력 넘치는 동원 사역에 힘쓰게 되도록 기도해 주세요. 이 선교사는 미국 SM 국가 코디 팀 수련회에 참여하여 효과적인 동원사역을 위한 팀웍과 사역계획에 자문 역할을 감당하에 됩니다. 지혜와 능력으로 잘 감당할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요..

Gyoojun & Jinsook Lee: Director of Diaspora Engagement, Canada
Kairos Course Head Facilitator Training for North American Korean facilitators was held online on February 8 and 15 and will be held in person on February 17 at Open Door Presbyterian Church near Washington, DC. Due to the flight cancellations with heavy snow in the forecast, the Lees had to reschedule their travel. Please pray for their good health, travel safety, and abundant ministry. Pray also for the two head facilitator candidates from Canada, who are passionate about mobilizing churches for missions will be energized by the training. Gyoojun will participate in the SM US National Coordinating Team retreat, advising on teamwork and ministry planning for effective mobilization. Pray for wisdom and strength so that he can serve well.

L and C 선교사 부부는 2월 17일(월요일) 사역지(한국)로 복귀합니다. 한국에서 다시 잘 적응할 수 있도록 기도해 주시고, 계속 이어질 번역 사역에 하나님 은혜와 지혜로 잘 감당할 수 있도록, 번역 작업에 함께 동역하고 있는 현지인 조력자들이 안전하고 건강하게, 그리고 말씀에 대한 이해와 깨달음이 있도록, 함께 섬기는 프로젝트 사역팀 모두가 주님의 마음으로 하나 되어 겸손히 섬기며 하나 됨과 조화를 잘 이루어 가도록 기도해 주시고, 아직 믿지 않는 가족들이 주님의 사랑을 알고 구원받을 수 있도록 기도해 주세요

L and C: Bible translation in a sensitive area of Asia / home assignment / Partnership Development
L and C will return to their field (Korea) on Monday, February 17. Please pray for them to settle back into their life in Korea and that they can continue their translation work with God's grace and wisdom. Pray for the local helpers working with L and C on the translation work so that they may be safe and healthy and understand and realize the Word. Please also pray that all the ministry team members will serve humbly, with one heart, in unity with the Lord, and achieve harmony and one mind. Pray that the family members who have yet to believe will come to know the love of the Lord and be saved.

위클리프 캐나다 연례 총회
위클리프 캐나다는 지난 한 해 동안 하나님께서 이루신 일들을 축하하기 위해 2월 20일 오전 10시부터 11시 15분까지 (산지 시간) 하이브리드 방식의 연례 총회를 개최합니다. 축하 행사 후에는 재정 보고, 이사회 업무, 투표 등 관련 사무 절차로 이어집니다. 올해의 주제는 “성령의 바람을 따라서"(Gathering the Leading Wind)입니다. 또한 2월 19일에는 다음 날 있을 총회와 2월 20일부터 23일까지 이어질 연례 이사회를 위해 하나님 앞에서 금식하며 기도 합니다. 총회를 통해 하나님께 영광을 돌리며, 아울러 성경 번역과 관련 사역을 통해 하나님이 어떻게 역사하시는지를 잘 깨닫는 행사가 되도록 기도해 주세요.

Annual General Meeting
Wycliffe Canada will host a hybrid Annual General Meeting (AGM) on February 20 from 10:00 to 11:15 a.m. MT to celebrate God's accomplishments over the past year. Immediately following the celebration, a business meeting will address financial reports, Board matters, and voting. This year’s theme is “Gathering The Leading Wind.” We will also fast and pray before God on February 19 for the AGM the following day and the Board meeting from February 20-23 as the Wycliffe Canada body of Christ. Please pray that this event glorifies God and showcases how He works through Bible translation and related ministries.

원주민 성경 번역 운동: 프로젝트 업데이트
킹피셔레이크 팀은 요한복음 번역에 대한 번역 자문위원 점검을 진행하고 있습니다. 아니시니니이모윈 (오지 크리) 번역팀의 핵심 자매들을 위해 기도해 주세요: 팀에 격려와 영적 지원을 제공하는 루스와, 제시, 이본은 팀의 주 번역가들입니다. 킹피셔레이크 팀을 섬기며, 가족과 함께 현지 마을에 거주하고 있는 프로젝트 조력자 매튜 선교사 가정을 위해 기도해 주세요. 블랙풋 팀은 현재 누가복음 1장과 8장을 번역하고 있습니다. 앨버타 남부의 원주민 보호 7 지역 출신 번역가 7명 모두를 위해 기도해 주세요: 이 팀을 위한 코디네이터 역할을 맡고 있는 부사제 자키, 래리 목사, 실비아, 라몬다, 미르나, 로지 제인, 그리고 빈센트 목사. 금년 초에 번역에 착수할 계획인 연안 지역 언어 그룹의 대표 두 사역자를 위해서도 기도해 주세요.

Indigenous Initiatives: Project update
The Kingfisher Lake team is working on a consultant check of the Gospel of John. Pray for these key women on the Anihshininiimowin (Oji-Cree) translation team: Ruth, who provides encouragement and spiritual support to the team. Jessie and Yvonne are the main translators on the team. Please pray for Matthew Windsor, the project facilitator, who works with the team in Kingfisher Lake and lives there with his family. The Blackfoot team is currently working on translating Luke 1 & 8. Pray for all seven of the translators from Treaty 7 territory in southern Alberta: Archdeacon Jacqui Durand, who serves as their coordinator, and Rev. Larry Waterchief, Sylvia Tailfeathers, Ramonda Waterchief, Myrna Stevens, Rosie-Jane Tailfeathers, and Vincent Yellow-Old-Woman. Please also pray for the two representatives of a coastal language group who plan to start working on translation in early 2025.

공동체가 함께 참여하는 시편 시범 프로젝트: 아프리카
시편을 번역하고 노래하는 접근 방식의 노래하는 시편의 3년간 시범 프로젝트를 작년 12월에 마치면서 6개 공동체에 각각 50~60개의 시편이 생생하게 번역되었습니다. 각 공동체로부터 재능 있는 음악가, 작곡가, 구전 시인들이 함께 참여하고 시편은 연주, 녹음(비디오/오디오), 필사되었습니다. 위클리프 남아공, 위클리프 영국, 위클리프 뉴질랜드, 에스아이엘 국제본부, 시드컴퍼니, 심(SIM) 선교단체의 자문위원 팀이 협력하여 창작 팀을 인도하였습니다. 많은 사람들이 자신들의 모어로 된 이 새로운 성경 노래에 대해 큰 기대를 가지고 있습니다. 성령께서 카메룬의 콤 부족, 앙골라의 코크웨, 남아프리카의 카아프 족, 말라위의 완투족, 모잠비크의 미토와 코티족과 같은 언어 공동체에서 듣고 노래하는 동안 하나님께서 이들의 마음을 감동시켜주시도록, 언젠가 각자의 언어로 된 이 노래 시편 전권을 갖게 되어, 그들이 주님께 경배하고 슬퍼하며, 주님과 더 친밀하게 교제하는 데 도움이 되기를 기도해 주세요. .

Psalms That Sing pilot project engages communities: Africa
A three-year pilot project of the Psalms That Sing approach to translating Psalms was completed in December, leaving six communities with vibrant versions of 50-60 psalms each. Gifted musicians, songwriters, and oral poets participated in each community. The Psalms have been performed, recorded (video and audio), and transcribed. A team of consultants from Wycliffe South Africa, Wycliffe UK, Wycliffe New Zealand, SIL International, Seed Company, and SIM collaborated to guide the creative teams. Many people have become excited about these new Scripture songs in their languages. Pray that the Holy Spirit will touch hearts through God’s Word as it is heard and sung in these language communities: the Kom of Cameroon, Cokwe in Angola, Kaaps in South Africa, Wantu in Malawi, and Meetto and Koti in Mozambique. Pray that they will one day have the entire collection of the Psalms in their languages in formats that help them to worship, lament, and connect more intimately with the Lord.

Productive partnership: Solomon Islands, Global
For we are co-workers in God’s service (1 Corinthians 3:9). The International Decade of Indigenous Languages (IDIL) is an initiative launched by the United Nations with a mission to raise awareness about indigenous language preservation, revitalization, and promotion. Pray for the IDIL event on 21 February, International Mother Language Day, in the Solomon Islands, which partners are organizing. Ask God to bring unity, focus, and productivity to the collaborative planning with the Solomon Island National University event host. Pray that the event will glorify God, encourage participants, and highlight the value of Indigenous languages, accomplishing his purposes through every program detail

항공 선교

Air Operations
For almost 75 years, JAARS has been a leader in mission aviation—serving in the most remote and rugged places on Earth. Many language groups still lack God’s Word and are the hardest to reach. Picture endless miles of rainforest and rugged mountains—with unpredictable weather, no support system, and airstrips carved out by hand. Flying safely in these environments is one of the most challenging jobs on earth, and it’s at the core of what God has called JAARS to do. Please pray for the maintenance needs of our fleet of aircraft, the pilots, mechanics, and avionics technicians who need our specialized training, and for acquiring qualified staff. Pray for effective collaboration with our mission aviation partners around the globe.
