박요섭 / 조선향 선교사: 파푸아뉴기니 카니누와 민족 성경 번역
자문위원이 거주하는 호주 지역의 기상 악조건으로 인한 홍수와 정전 사태에도 온라인으로 진행된 자문위원 점검을 더 일찍 마칠 수 있었고, 처음으로 참가한 현지인 번역 사역자 프리실라가 시몬과 함께 마태복음과 요한계시록을 처음부터 끝까지 성공적으로 점검 과정을 잘 마쳤음에 감사드립니다! 2월 23일에 열릴 “카니누와 구약 파노라마 성경” 봉헌식이 은혜가운데 잘 마치도록, 번역된 말씀이 시베시베 마을과 까꽈나우파 마을, 까웨야바 교회, 그리고 각 가정에서 읽혀질 때, 더 많은 카니누와 사람들이 하나님의 사랑을 깨닫고 주께로 돌아오는 역사가 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Joseph & Joyce Park: Kaninuwa Bible translation, Papua New Guinea (PNG) We completed the online consultant check of the Gospel of Matthew and the Book of Revelation earlier than expected due to the floods and power outages caused by bad weather in the Australian region where the Advisor lives. We are thankful to Priscilla, a national translator who, along with Simon, took part in the consultant check process for the first time and successfully completed the review of Matthew and Revelation from start to finish! Please pray that the dedication ceremony for the “Kaninuwa Old Testament Panorama” on February 23 will be well done by His grace and that the translated Word will be read and heard in the Kamwiyaba Church, the Sivesive Village, the Kikwanauta Village, and that each home and many more will come to know God's love and turn to Him.

북부 태국어(라나) 문해 및 성경활용 사역: 동남아시아
라나 성경번역 팀이 현재 두 학교에서 학생들을 위한 라나 모어 교육을 주 2회씩 시행하고 있으며, 교장을 비롯하여 모어교육 디렉터, 교사, 학생들 모두가 한 마음으로 라나 문해 교실에 참여하고 이를 적극 지원하고 있음에 감사드립니다! 최근에 모어교육 디렉터가 교사들을 위한 웍샵을 열어 좀 더 효과적인 문해교실이 운영되게 해달라고 요청했습니다. 문해사역의 교재로 성경이야기가 사용되어 읽혀지고 있음에 감사드리고, 인턴들을 포함한 라나 성경번역 팀이 이 문해교실 사역을 잘 감당하고, 학생들이 이 수업에 잘 참여할 뿐만 아니라, 말씀을 읽을 때 하나님의 사랑을 체험하게 기도해 주세요.

Northern Thai (Lanna) Literacy and Scripture Use Ministry: Southeast Asia
The Lanna Bible Translation Team is currently implementing twice-weekly Lanna mother-tongue education for students in two schools, and we are thankful that the principals, mother-tongue education director, teachers, and students are all on board and supportive of the Lanna literacy classes! The mother-tongue education director recently requested a workshop for her teachers to train them to participate more effectively and help their students in literacy classes. Give thanks to God that Bible stories are being used and read as teaching materials for the literacy classes, and pray that the Lanna Bible Translation team, including the interns, will be able to serve this ministry well and that the students will not only engage well in these classes but that they will experience God's love as they read the Word.

라자암팟 언어권 맞춤법 워크숍: 인도네시아
2월 16일부터 3월 3일까지 미솔 섬에서 열리는 라자암팟 언어권 언어 공동체인 테핀, 카와이, 마트바트, 암벨의 맞춤법 워크숍을 인하여 하나님을 찬양합니다. 리타 선교사가 맞춤법 워크숍 자료를 잘 준비할 수 있도록 지혜와 힘을 주시도록, 리타 선교사가 자료를 명확하고 효과적으로 발표할 수 있도록, 리타 선교사와 참가자들 모두 미솔 섬으로 안전하게 이동할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 참가자들이 워크숍을 잘 따라갈 수 있도록, 그리고 각 언어팀이 배운 내용을 각 언어의 문자 체계(알파벳)를 개발하는 데 효과적으로 적용할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 워크숍이 기술적인 문제나 물류 문제 없이 원활하게 진행될 수 있도록, 가르치는 모든 자료들이 성경 번역과 현지 언어 문해력 향상에 긍정적이고 큰 영향을 줄 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 카르티다야와 GKI 디 타나 파푸아 교회가 마음을 합하고, 잘 소통하며, 원활하게 협력하여 이를 통해 하나님의 이름이 영광을 받으시고, 현지 언어로 사역이 계속 성장할 수 있도록 기도해주세요. 이번 워크숍이 라자암팟의 현지 언어와 문화를 강화하는 하나님의 도구가 되도록 기도해 주세요.

Raja Ampat Cluster orthography workshop: Indonesia
Praise God for an orthography workshop for the Raja Ampat Cluster language communities, Tepin, Kawei, Matbat, and Ambell, on Misool Island from 16 February to 3 March. Pray for wisdom and strength for Ms. Rita Nasution in preparing the orthography workshop materials. Pray that she can present the materials clearly and effectively. Pray for safe travel for her and the participants to Misool Island. Pray that the participants will be able to follow the workshop well and that each language team can effectively apply what they are learning to develop the writing systems (alphabets) of their respective languages. Pray for the workshop to run smoothly without technical or logistic issues. Pray that all materials taught can positively and significantly impact Bible translation and the advancement of local language literacy. Pray for the unity of hearts, good communication, and smooth coordination between ween Kartidaya and GKI di Tanah Papua Church so that God's name will be glorified through this collaboration, and ministry in these local languages will continue to grow. May this orthography workshop be God's tool to strengthen Raja Ampat's local languages and cultures!

신임 선교사의 동역 개발팀 구축: 오스트리아, 탄자니아
안나는 고향 교회에서 있었던 위클리프 오스트리아 발표회 후에 닐 앤더슨과 하이얏트 무어가 쓴 책 “근원을 찾아서”를 받았습니다. 파푸아뉴기니의 한 성경 번역 선교사의 사역과 자신이 겪었던 도전들에 대해 쓴 이 책은 그녀가 위클리프 사역에 관심을 갖게 하는 계기가 되었습니다. 그녀는 한 선교 대회에서 독일의 카리무 위클리프 센터에서 열린 인스파이어드 위크엔드에 참석하여 상을 받았습니다. 이 행사에 참석한 지 몇 달 후, 그녀는 그곳의 주방 팀에 합류하여 언어학 훈련코스 강의를 들었고, 작년 여름에는 인턴으로 탄자니아에 가서 민족 예술팀을 위하여 봉사했습니다. 오스트리아로 다시 돌아와 위클리프 오스트리아 홍보팀에서 파트타임으로 섬기고 있으며 2025년까지 기도와 재정을 위한 동역팀 개발을 마치고 전임으로 사역할 수 있기를 목표로 하고 있습니다. 안나가 현지 사역을 나눌 수 있는 기회와 탄자니아에서 다시 봉사할 수 있도록 기도와 재정 후원이 잘 채워지도록 기도해 주세요.

New worker builds partnership team: Austria, Tanzania
Anna-Alice was given a book titled In Search of the Source by Neil Anderson and Hyatt Moore after a Wycliffe Austria presentation in her home church. The book, about a Bible translator in Papua New Guinea, his ministry, and the challenges he faced, sparked her interest in Wycliffe’s work. At a missions conference, she won a prize for attending the Inspired Weekend at the Karimu Wycliffe Centre in Germany. A few months after attending Inspired, she joined the kitchen team there and took courses at SSK. Last July, she went to Tanzania as an intern to serve with the EthnoArts Team. Back in Austria, she has been working part-time in this area at Wycliffe Austria. She aims to finish building her team of prayer and financial partners in 2025 to serve full-time. Pray for opportunities for Anna-Alice to present her ministry and for people to support her financially and in prayer so she might return to serve in Tanzania.

Land Operations
In parts of Africa, 98% of roads are unpaved, and the rainy season lasts for half the year. Tough as it is, the best way for translators to get input, test drafts, help churches, and start literacy classes is to visit local communities. That’s why JAARS paves the way for our partners by providing them with motorbikes, 4WD vehicles, safety equipment, and driving and maintenance training. Please pray for the 4WD vehicles and motorcycles that we provide our mission organization partners worldwide and operational and maintenance training for their personnel.
